Peaceful Getaway – Holiday Home in Åsljunga, Skåne

Peaceful Getaway is located in the small village of Åsljunga in the southern Swedish region of Skåne. The surrounding area is characterised by forests, lakes and the peaceful landscapes of southern Sweden, making it an ideal destination for guests looking for nature and relaxation while still having easy access to many attractions in Skåne.

Two lakes are located about two to three kilometres from the house. One has a swimming area with a diving tower, while the other is part of a leisure area with a tennis court. Both lakes offer great opportunities for swimming, fishing and relaxing summer days by the water. The forests around Åsljunga are perfect for walking, hiking and cycling. In late summer and autumn the area is especially known for mushrooms and blueberries.

The house offers around 94 square metres of living space and accommodates up to four guests. During the summer months an additional small stuga on the property can be used, allowing up to seven guests in total. The main house provides sleeping space for four people, while the stuga accommodates three additional guests. The stuga does not have heating and is therefore only used during the warmer months.

Inside the house you will find two bedrooms and a cosy living area with a fireplace that creates a warm atmosphere on cooler days. The kitchen is fully equipped and includes a dishwasher. WiFi and a television are available. A washing machine and dryer are also provided.

In front of the house there is a terrace with seating and a barbecue, ideal for spending relaxing time outdoors.

The town of Örkelljunga with supermarkets, restaurants, cafés and a McDonald’s is located about five kilometres away.

One of the region’s highlights is the Markaryds Älgsafari about 25 kilometres away, where visitors can drive through the park by train or with their own car and see moose and bison up close.

The North Sea coast with long sandy beaches can be reached in about 40 kilometres at Ängelholm or Laholm. The city of Helsingborg with the popular Väla shopping centre and the famous Sofiero Palace is also within easy reach.

Nature lovers should also visit Söderåsen National Park with its dramatic valleys and hiking trails. In winter the Vallåsen Ski Resort ski area is about 30 kilometres away, while in summer it becomes a popular bike park.

A security deposit of 200 euros is required. Electricity is charged according to consumption. Final cleaning is included and bed linen packages can be booked optionally. One dog is welcome for an additional fee.
