Just a few steps from the apartment flows the Tämnarån river, where you will find a bathing jetty, playground and café. Bicycles are available free of charge, allowing flexible exploration of the surrounding countryside. A rowing boat or canoe can also be used free of charge – perfect for enjoying a relaxing river holiday in Sweden.

Behind the house begins a walking and jogging trail leading through forests and open landscapes. Coastal beaches such as Rullsand and Ängskär are easily accessible. In Tierp, about eight kilometres away, you will find supermarkets and a unique swimming area in a former quarry. Lövstabruk, Gävle and Uppsala are within comfortable reach.

The apartment is located in a historic early 20th-century building that once served as workers’ housing for the ironworks. It combines authentic charm with modern comfort.
