This detached holiday home is located on a side road on the edge of the village with a wonderful view of the fields and forest. The house has a living space of approx. 55 m2 on a plot of 2000 m2.
The house has 2 floors. On the ground floor are the kitchen, the living room, the bathroom and a children's room.on the upper floor is the (parents) bedroom with double bed.the kitchen is fully equipped including electric cooker, oven and fridge with freezer.the spacious living room with wooden floor offers a dining table for 4 people and a nice seating area including an additional sofa bed. The children's room offers two narrower beds of about 70 cm width and was designed as a passage room to the sleeping area on the upper floor.the bathroom has hot running water and a toilet with cistern.
Wifi is not available in favour of the beautiful nature and tranquillity. Internet reception is very good.
A cosy covered veranda, another covered seating area and ideal play facilities for children (swing, sandpit, own children's playhouse, large meadow), sun loungers, tables and chairs available.
Several bicycles at your disposal. Use at your own risk.
All windows in the house have fly screens. (Even in summer there are almost no mosquitoes).
A very beautiful, shallow bathing area at the Bolmensee is only 10 minutes away by car or can be easily reached on our bicycles. Another idyllic bathing lake in the forest (Flaten) can be reached by bike in a few minutes via a small road and forest paths. Cheap canoe hire at JĂ€lluntofta campsite (15 minutes by car).
You can cycle directly from the house on small roads, hike in beautiful forests, pick mushrooms or explore the area by car (e.g. the free half-hour Bolmen ferry to the exciting Bolmen peninsula).
Birdwatchers will be delighted: just 6 kilometres away is the excellent nature reserve "Draven": The area was renaturalised in 1990 and has now regained its character as a shallow bird lake in the middle of an old cultivated landscape. Here you can observe a huge number of cranes and mating limicoles (including curlews). The walk to the observation towers and along the boardwalks around the area is very rewarding. One of Sweden's largest moorland areas is also very close to us. The "Store Mosse" National Park can be hiked through at ground level all year round on boardwalks. Fantastic views of an enchanting moorland landscape.
Karaby offers wonderful peace and quiet as well as a country shop where you can buy everything you need for everyday use (2.5 km away). Our neighbouring village is called "As". The larger towns of "Reftele" and "Bredaryd" are approx. 8 km away and offer further shopping opportunities.
