Located directly on the banks of the Müritz, the comfortable stone house with high-quality furnishings leaves nothing to be desired. Your holiday accommodation stands on a 400 m² plot and is only 200 m away from a sunbathing lawn with beach. Of course there is also a fishing jetty for anglers, 150 m from the holiday home. From the spacious terrace you can enjoy the marvellous lake view of the Müritz and watch the sailors, boaters and surfers.

Location description : Röbel / Müritz is a lively small town with 5313 inhabitants (as of 2007). It lies in the Müritz district, the heart of the Mecklenburg Lake District, at an altitude of 65 metres above sea level and nestles idyllically on the south-west bank of the Müritz. After the political change in 1991, the historic town centre with the town hall was thoroughly renovated as part of the urban development programme, and the townscape of this colourful half-timbered town has changed considerably since then. The town has a railway connection, but it has been closed down. The nearest railway connection is approx. 24 km away in Waren. Röbel is connected to all federal waterways via the Müritz. There is a well-developed town harbour, which is used by various passenger shipping companies. The most important employer today is optimal media production, a service company in the media industry with more than 500 employees. Since 1994, Röbel has been part of the district of Müritz in the federal state of Mecklenburg-Vorpommern. The inland Müritz, with its small colourful harbour and its uniquely beautiful, completely renovated waterfront promenade, leaves a lasting impression on every visitor. Visitors to the town are greeted by two mighty early Gothic brick churches. This initially unusual sight for such a small town has a special history. Before Röbel was granted its town charter in 1261, it consisted of two separate settlements, the old town and the new town. The old town belonged to the diocese of Schwerin, the new town to the diocese of Havelberg. As a result, a church was built in each of the two episcopal areas. The favourable climatic conditions, the natural surroundings rich in forests and lakes and the wide range of leisure activities on offer provide visitors with a broad spectrum of active and passive recreational opportunities all year round. Land of a Thousand Lakes with the Müritz at its centreThe Müritz forms the largest contiguous lake landscape in Europe, with the Müritz at its centre. At 117 km², it is Germany's largest inland lake. There are over 2033 lakes in Mecklenburg-Vorpommern with a total area of 738 km². The Müritz alone accounts for 16% of this with a size of 117 km². But the other lakes in the Mecklenburg Lake District do not need to hide behind this inland sea either. Lake Plau is only slightly smaller at 38 km², Lake Kummerow at 33 km² and Lake Kölpin at 21 km². The Müritz is surrounded by many small and medium-sized towns. The most important of these are Waren, Röbel, Klink, Mirow, Boek, Rechlin and Sietow. All these places are connected by the "Müritz cycle path". The Mecklenburg Lake District is an Eldorado for water hiking. Canoeing or rafting, sailing, surfing, diving, water skiing, cruising the lakes on a houseboat or motor yacht - everything is possible. Swimming with or without, on quiet and romantic lakes, unspoilt beaches or bathing beaches with a wide range of leisure activities, there is something for everyone.
