Activities: Water sports, hiking, cycling, golf course 7 km away. The river Eman, famous for its large salmon and sea trout, flows into the sea 10 km north of Mönsteras. Astrid Lindgren's World/Katthult/Bullerby - Vimmerby are only about 90km away. The water is very shallow on most shores and therefore very suitable for children to swim in. For the older ones, there is also a 3 and 5 metre diving platform nearby and, since 2021, a new sunbathing lawn and kiosk, as well as a beach volleyball court with kiosk and sunbathing lawn at the tip of Oknö. As over 50% of the houses on the Oknö peninsula are inhabited all year round, it is possible to arrive at any time in winter.
