Welcome to the "Castle of the Wildensteins", the former country estate of the Wildenstein family in Schlopp, situated in the picturesque Franconian Forest. Experience the uniqueness of this historical jewel, which was first mentioned in a document in 1024. Nestled near the famous Steinachklamm gorge, the castle offers majestic tranquillity and an atmosphere that is ideal for anyone who wants to experience the fascination of old knightly tales at first hand.
The interior of the lovingly renovated castle, which was built in 1650, combines modern comfort with historical flair. Furniture from bygone times, original windows and doors as well as exposed, restored ceilings add to the charm. A spacious kitchen with dining area, dishwasher and two fridge freezers, a cosy living room with two sofas, table, chairs, wardrobe, Wi-Fi and TV as well as numerous sleeping options, including rooms with four-poster beds, single and double beds and a large dormitory in the attic, await guests.
The castle's outdoor area is characterised by a garden enclosed by thuja hedges.
