This holiday home in Kittlitz is one half of a semi-detached house. You can also rent the identical second half if you wish. For example, for adult children or friends. Your dog is also very welcome (no extra charge). Your holiday home with a spacious garden is located on the edge of the village, quietly on a quiet road and bordering on surrounding farmland. It is an ideal place for a relaxing break from life in the city. Between Lübeck and Schwerin, you can discover forests, meadows and lakes on a cycle tour, for example to the nearby beach of Lake Dutzow.

The so-called "customs house" from the 1960s has been lovingly renovated and brought up to date. The interior is cosy with lots of wood. The large garden and the beautifully sheltered terrace have been retained. The holiday accommodation extends over a living space of 75 m² and is divided into a bedroom, living room, kitchen with dining area and a daylight shower room. The heart of the flat is the stately living room, which has a wonderful wood-burning stove that spreads cosiness in autumn, on cool spring days and of course in winter. Independently of this, central heating also keeps the living room warm. There are electric heaters in the kitchen and bedroom, and another stove in the kitchen. Relax on the sofa after a day out, while the large flat-screen TV, a Blu-Ray player with a small selection of films and a hi-fi system provide entertainment. In the bedroom, two people can sleep in a double bed (1.80 x 2.00 m) and there is plenty of space in the large wardrobe. The kitchen allows for extensive self-catering using a four-zone ceramic hob with oven, fridge and the usual appliances such as a coffee machine, kettle and toaster. In the spacious bathroom you have plenty of room thanks to the open shower. WLAN is included.

In summer, the spacious terrace (approx. 4 x 5 m) invites you to enjoy breakfast to the sound of birdsong or to round off the day with a charcoal barbecue. You also have a view of the greenery in your own garden, the hedges and tall trees. There is plenty of space for your car on the property, directly in front of the garden gate.

You have extensive shopping facilities a few kilometres away in Ratzeburg (all major discounters, a large Edeka supermarket, various bakers and butchers, a fashion market, potters for great souvenirs, etc.). Leisure activities: Several lakes offer natural bathing opportunities, on the Ratzeburger See you can take a trip on a boat or pedal boat and of course the many quiet paths invite you to go cycling, hiking or Nordic walking. The landscape is gently undulating, with hardly any steep inclines. The indoor swimming pool in Ratzeburg or the large Wonnemar leisure pool in Wismar are also ideal for swimming.

In Schmilau you can take a ride on the trolley, in Zarrentin you can visit the monastery and monastery church and in Schlagsdorf the Grenzhus shows the history of the region with the almost insurmountable border of the GDR. Several local history museums also allow you to experience other aspects of the region. In Ratzeburg, for example, the 1950s exhibition, the kitchen from 1766 and the pharmacy from 1842 are well worth a visit. Art lovers will get their money's worth at the Barlach Museum and the A-Paul Weber Museum. Lübeck, Hamburg, Schwerin and Wismar are within easy reach for day trips. In Wittenburg, an indoor ski centre offers winter sports all year round. Your dog is welcome (no extra charge). It goes without saying that your dog will be well behaved.
