The holiday home is located in the border triangle of the Bavarian Forest, approx. 40km north of Passau. It is located in a large forest clearing at the foot of the Dreisessel with a marvellous view over the forest to the west. It is directly connected to hiking trails, forest and cycle paths and cross-country ski trails.
The holiday home is divided into two holiday flats. The three-room ground floor flat with approx. 70 mÂČ has a large living/dining area with a cosy sitting area. There is also an open-plan kitchen with cooker, dishwasher, microwave, kettle, toaster and coffee machine. The dining area is located in a cosy bay window with a large round table. There are two single beds in the first bedroom and a double bed in the second bedroom. The sofa in the living room can also be used as sleeping accommodation for two more people. The bathroom has a shower and bathtub. The WC is located separately. The ceiling to the upper floor is made of wood with low impact sound insulation. The two-room flat on the upper floor with approx. 60 mÂČ includes a large living room with two sofa corners, dining table and south-facing balcony. The cushions in the living room can also be converted into sleeping accommodation for up to four people. From the bedroom with a double bed you have direct access to the bathroom with bath, shower and WC. The kitchen is equipped with a cooker, fridge and freezer, coffee machine, etc.
The ground floor flat has a large terrace with a brick-built barbecue and distant views to the west. The garden is equipped with a pool which, depending on the weather, is filled with water from around Whitsun to mid-September, which is heated by the solar thermal system.
The house is mainly supplied with renewable energy (solar thermal and wood pellet heating, photovoltaics).
The holiday home is intended for a rather quiet holiday, also for several couples or families.
Pets are allowed if the "traces", especially hair on textiles, are removed by yourself!
It is not suitable for party weekends or youth groups!
The rental price includes 7 % VAT.
Favourable location for excursions, as
- 900 m high, directly on the hiking trail to the Dreisesselberg, Plöckenstein with "Steinernes Meer" and "Drei-LÀnder-Eck" (nature reserve), Plöckensteiner See with Adalbert-Stifter monument in the Czech nature park
- Cross-country ski trail or ski hiking trail at the house (65 km for every level of difficulty in the municipality)
- only approx. 10 minutes by car to the "Hochficht Alpine Ski Centre" (Schwarzenberg/Austria)
- Day trips to the Bavarian Forest National Park, to Passau or Linz, or to Bohemia are possible.
