This spacious holiday house is in Vidsel, just five kilometres from Sorforsen, Swedenâs largest rapids. It is a terraced house on a residential estate.
The house provides around 140mÂČ of living space for up to seven people. The ground floor, which was completely renovated in 2014, has a very spacious kitchen, fully-equipped with a microwave, ceramic hob, a new dishwasher, toaster, coffee machine, mixer, kettle and various small appliances. There is a bit dining table. The living room provides a two-seater and a three-seater sofa, a coffee table, a new 32â TV with satellite channels, a DVD player and a stereo system. The living room opens onto the veranda and the garden. There are two bedrooms on the ground floor, one with a double bed (140 x 200cm) and the other with a single bed (120 x 200cm), and direct access to a little shower room. Both bedrooms have big integrated wardrobes and on the ground floor there is another bathroom with a shower and WC. There is a cloakroom area in the entrance area, which also has direct access to the garage. The first floor also has two bedrooms, one with two single beds (90 x 200cm) and one with a double bed (160 x 200cm). Both bedrooms share a big, walk-in wardrobe, accessed from the hallway. Next to it there is a WC with a sink. All the rooms have heating. Free wireless Internet access is available (VDSL maximum 100 Mbit).
The site spans 400mÂČ. In front of and behind the house there is a lawn. Children have plenty of space to play here. In the garden there is also an outdoor sauna fired by wood, where you can relax after an exciting day. A big terrace with garden furniture rounds off the outdoor area. There are two to three parking spaces in front of the house and there is another parking space in the garage.
Up to two dogs are welcome, others on request. In spring 2015 a fence was built all around the garden for dogs. Dog sled tours and snow shoe hikes can be arranged by the owner on request.
There is a little playground about 200 metres from the house. It is 5km to Storforsen, Swedenâs biggest waterfall, with many grill areas and beautiful spots to sit and relax. The river PiteĂ€lv with a swimming area is a five-minute walk away. It is also just a five-minute walk to Vidsel, with shops (ICA supermarket). It is 45 minutes to the ski piste with a lift and cross-country skiing trails. The Baltic Sea beach is 60 minutes away. The house is a good hourâs drive from LuleĂ„ airport. There are eight national parks in the area, ideal for hiking and for day trips. You can go fishing in the river PiteĂ€lv, as well as in various lakes nearby (also guided tours). You can go shopping in the three big towns of LuleĂ„ , PiteĂ„ and Boden. In winter you can hire a snow mobile or go on a guided tour with the owner.
