In the middle of the wonderfully peaceful Bavarian Forest, high above the village of Sankt Englmar, our newly renovated flat welcomes you with its 33 m² and a large balcony with a beautiful view. Completely renovated with a new bathroom, kitchen and new furniture, the flat offers the best conditions for a perfect family holiday in the middle of nature.

The flats are part of a holiday complex which has its own large indoor pool with counter-current system, baby and children's pool as well as an outdoor pool and slide, two saunas, an indoor football pitch, table tennis tables, a mini-golf course, an outdoor playground, an indoor playground with trampolines, giant slides and climbing labyrinth and other leisure facilities.

The 33m² flat consists of a combined living room and bedroom with kitchenette and a modern shower room. From the large balcony you have a wonderful view of the surrounding mountains and the forest down to the Danube valley - and on clear days even as far as the Alps. The sleeping facilities, a box-spring bed and a sofa bed (pull-out) offer space for up to three people: two adults and max. two children, also for three adults and simply for two adults. The flat is equipped with: free fresh towels and bed linen, a hairdryer, a high-quality flat-screen TVThe fully equipped kitchen has a refrigerator, two electric hobs, kettle, coffee maker, pans, pots, cooking utensils, crockery. Washing machines and dryers are available in the holiday complex. Washing tokens can be purchased at reception. Free WLAN is available in the flat.

Excursions: Our flat is part of the Predigtstuhl holiday complex, which offers a wide range of leisure activities, and although the complex is somewhat older, it is currently being modernised step by step. The building in which your flat is located has already been renovated, so there is no noise pollution to worry about. The free, large indoor pool with counter-current system and bubble massage loungers, the adjoining modern fitness centre and the sauna area with Finnish sauna, bio-sanarium and infrared cabin have been renovated and are in excellent condition. In summer, a large outdoor pool with a wide slide, on which several children can slide at the same time, provides additional bathing fun, while other attractions at the holiday resort include table tennis tables, an outdoor playground and - for a fee but at a reasonable price - a mini golf course, an electric kart track, a large football hall with several pitches and a 1.300 m² indoor playground with giant slides, trampolines, a large climbing castle, billiards, table football, air hockey, Lego building site and a childcare service. The surrounding mountains and forests invite you to go on long hikes and cycle tours in beautiful, unspoilt nature. In Sankt Englmar there is a spa park with a large children's playground, an animal enclosure and a very clean natural swimming lake. The spectacular forest treetop path, a mountain rollercoaster and a water playground are just a few minutes away. On rainy days, you can visit the "xperium", a great experimental museum (not only) for children, which is within walking distance. In the surrounding area there is a canoe hire centre, a former underground silver mine and a glass-blowing workshop where you can make your own glass balls to take home with you. In the cold season, Sankt Englmar is transformed into a winter sports paradise: There are numerous cross-country ski trails, lifts and ski slopes in the immediate vicinity (Pröller Skidereieck, Predigtstuhl Arena, etc.). Modern snow-making facilities ensure good skiing conditions regardless of the weather. Thanks to floodlights, skiing fun is also possible at night. There are two ski schools with hire services directly on site. The prices for ski passes etc. are very moderate compared to many other winter sports resorts. In the family-friendly ski resort of Sankt Englmar, more consideration is also given to children and there are fewer "speeders" on the slopes than elsewhere. Another special feature is the toboggan lift in the spa gardens of Sankt Englmar: here, visitors of all ages can be pulled up in the comfort of a lift and then whizz down the slope. Around 125 kilometres of well-signposted hiking trails lead through the region and also connect Sankt Englmar to the various long-distance hiking trails such as the Baierweg or the Goldsteig. The four "thousand metre" mountain peaks, the Pröller, the Hirschenstein, the Knogl and the Predigtstuhl offer magnificent views across the Bavarian Forest. The Wald-Wipfel-Weg in Maibrunn is also an experience that hikers with a head for heights should not miss out on. At a height of 30 metres and a length of 350 metres, the wooden path leads through the treetops with wonderful views and also offers unique information about the local flora and fauna on a nature trail. Holidays in Sankt Englmar are also worthwhile for cyclists. From leisurely circular tours, which are also ideal for families with children, to challenging mountain bike trails, the region offers the whole spectrum. Sankt Englmar, which boasts the largest mountain bike network in the Bavarian Forest with 300 kilometres of interconnected trails, is particularly popular with mountain bikers.
