Villa avec piscine à Makry Gialos - 200 mètres de la plage.

So glad you enjoyed your month in the villa and that you were well supported by our management team. They really are very good 😊 Agree, it is a great location, everything close at hand if you can drag yourself away from the pool! Thanks for choosing our villa for your holiday.

Thanks for taking the time to write your lovely review (and for your tips on where to eat!). Glad you had a great holiday. Hope to see you again 😀

Thanks for your kind review (and for the additional information you sent us). So glad you enjoyed your stay at Grapevines and that you liked our recommendations .... always a risk recommending places to eat and visit 😁 Ian

Thanks for submitting your review ....... we couldn't have summed it up better ouselves 😁

Thanks for your 5* review and glad that it lived up to your expectations from our description. We have just spent a lovely 2 weeks there ourselves and as well as enjoying all that Grapevines and Makrygialos has to offer, we made a few improvements to the villa …… we reupholstered the dining chair seats, bought a small table and chairs for the sun deck, a bookcase (as our 'library' was getting a little untidy!), a coat stand for the hall and probably the most useful item ….. a stick blender for making smoothies! Hope to see you all again soon. Ian

So glad you enjoyed your stay in our house ..... and that you found our recommendations were ok as it's always a risk recommending places to eat out! Appreciate you taking the time to review us. Thanks Ian

So glad you had a good stay. Agree with your description of the pool ...... I know we are biaised but it really is the best 'holiday pool' we've ever swum in! Thanks for choosing to have your holiday in our house.

Thank you for your kind comments Ilka. We pride ourselves on maintaining our property, and the site, to high standards. Our advertising is also an honest assessment of what you can expect in both our villa and the surrounding area and we are pleased that you commented on this. I obviously hope you will return! Everyone loves our villa, Grapevines and Makrigialos as the comments in our guest book show ..... we just wish more guests would leave a review! Thanks again for taking the time to do this. Ian and Michele (Owners)

So pleased (but not surprised!) that these guests had a great holiday, as everyone who comes here does! They also added in our visitors' book, that next time they would be coming for 2 weeks, which tells my wife and I as owners, that we are probably getting most things right! ...It also reflects the fact, that our descriptions of amenities & facilities, live up to guests' expectations & findings: which is just what we like to hear :)

Thanks for your review and so glad you enjoyed your stay. Hope our recommendations were ok! Sorry about the blunt knives ...... when we use the house we also got frustrated with blunt knives so bought a knife sharpener but it's clearly not there now so we will get a replacement. The mattresses were bought as a 'medium' hardness but appreciate they are probably more firm than you have been used to but I'm sure you appreciate it's difficult getting a softness that suits everyone. Thanks again for choosing our house for your holiday. Ian and Michele

Thanks for a great review. I know from our own experience of choosing holiday destinations that it helps if the description of the accommodation (and resort) matches the reality, so it's good to hear that we are achieving that. Not surprised that you loved it …… everyone does! Thanks again for staying at our villa. Ian

Thank you for your very positive and informative review. So pleased you had a 'perfect' holiday and we very much appreciate you recommending us. Ian and Michele

Thanks for your review and thanks for letting us know early on about the problem with the door lock. Glad that this was resolved quickly and pleased that you had a good holiday. Thanks again for choosing to stay at our house.

Thanks for taking the time to leave a review and so pleased you obviously enjoyed yourselves! Ian

Thank you for reviewing our property. So glad you enjoyed yourselves and as you described in your email to me, you found some great places to go to that we will have to try on our next visit. Much appreciated. Ian and Michele

Thank you for your lovely review ...... and also for the information that you provided us with, ie the places you enjoyed visiting and eating at. As you also toured the whole island after staying with us, it was interesting to hear that you enjoyed our location of south east Crete the most. Thanks again for choosing us to book with.

Appreciate your very fair review. You certainly should have had a mid stay clean ...... I will follow this up. Thanks also for staying with us again.

We were delighted to see your 5 star review and that you enjoyed your stay at Grapevines #14 and the nearby beaches and restaurants. It is always appreciated when guests take the time to leave a review and give us feedback. We have taken on board the comments that you felt the beds were firm …… we can only say that it has proved difficult to suit everyone’s needs and when the mattress was recently replaced, we chose a medium firmness, as previous guests had felt the mattresses were too soft! When we are next at the villa we will do some more research to see if we can find a better compromise.

We were so disappointed that you weren't able to stay. Yours was the first cancellation we have had in 10 years and I hope it's another 10 before it happens again. Really appreciate your review and hope to see you sometime in the future. Thanks again Ian
