Our cozy holiday home Juliana, located in the climatic health resort and historic European town of Stolberg, is perfect for couples, friends, and family vacations. Spend a wonderful time in a quiet, sunny location.

The ground floor of the newly renovated holiday home features a large hallway with a farmhouse wardrobe and access to the garden. A cozy, bright living room with a three-seater sofa (fold-out), two armchairs, a table, a dining area with four chairs, a tiled stove, a TV and DVD player, and a bookshelf is also located there.

The utility room with a washing machine is also off the hallway. Directly adjacent is the shower room with a toilet, sink, and window.

A beautiful wooden staircase leads to the upper floor, where there is a bright bedroom with a double bed (1.60 x 2.00 meters, each with two cold foam single mattresses with toppers), a wardrobe, a farmhouse chest of drawers, and a wicker chair. The second bedroom has two single beds (90 x 2.00 meters) with new cold foam mattresses, a chest of drawers, and a wicker chair. Both bedrooms have blackout curtains and are connected by a door.

The fully equipped kitchen on the upper floor has everything you need to make your stay as comfortable as possible. Dishwasher, 4-plate stove with oven, large fridge/freezer combination, filter coffee machine, kettle, toaster, Senseo pad machine with milk frother. The kitchen opens onto the roof terrace. The new bathroom with a window on the upper floor has a small bathtub, toilet, and sink with a view of the garden.

The garden and roof terrace invite you to relax. There are several seating areas. A special highlight is the sun terrace with views of the castle and the Ladder to Heaven. Plenty of garden furniture is provided. A bench is available on the lower terrace. At the end of the garden, there is a beautiful, covered, and sheltered spot, also with a view of the castle. A red garden house, flowers, roses, and lavender will enchant you.

The Juliana holiday home offers free Wi-Fi, bed linens, and towels. A selection of pillows is available. The house is very cozy, and the roof terrace is a particular highlight. Although it's a historic half-timbered house, it has good ceiling heights in all rooms, so even tall people will have no difficulty navigating the space.

The Juliana holiday home is not wheelchair accessible. Stairs, thresholds, and steps are present.
The house is non-smoking, and pets are unfortunately not allowed.
Bread rolls can be ordered and picked up from the breakfast room on Niedergasse. You can also enjoy a delicious breakfast there every day!
A bicycle rental shop near the former train station (180 meters) rents out e-bikes.
There is also a large, free parking lot there (although loading and unloading is possible directly at the holiday home).
A key box allows you to access the house flexibly.

The Juliana holiday home is located in a quiet, natural setting with a view of the castle. It is approximately 500 meters from Stolberg's market square. Restaurants, cafes, shops, museums, hiking trails, the castle, the Waldbühne (forest stage), a very large, beautiful playground, and the theater are all within walking distance. Also within walking distance is the Thyragrotte (currently closed for renovation).

Fantastic hiking trails are right next to the house. Visit the Joseph's Cross on the Großer Auerberg or hike the upper and lower Bandweg trails around Stolberg. Explore the Selketal Valley, ride the Selketalbahn (Selke Valley Railway), visit the Kyffhäuser Mountains in Thuringia, go mountain biking, visit the Kelbra Dam, or explore the fascinating Harz caves (Heimkehle Caves are very close by).
