Cozy vacation home on the doorstep of Tiveden National Park

Nestled by the greenery of the forest, but close to "everything". Within 5 km there are country shops, restaurants, cafes and bakery. If more service is desired, the lake town idylls Askersund and Karlsborg are less than 30 and 40 km away, respectively.



There is a mooring for canoes there is about 1 km from the cottage and to the nice beach Vitsand it is 8 km. Do you want to hike, there are several hiking trails in the area or why not just wander out into the blueberry forest behind the house and pick your own berries for breakfast?



The cottage is recently renovated and consists of a large living room with kitchen area, two bedrooms, bathroom and laundry room. In the living room there is a fireplace where you are welcome to light a fire if it is chilly some evening. In one bedroom there is a double bed 160 x 200 cm and in the other there is a bunk bed with bed dimensions 90 x 200 cm. At the back of the house facing the large forest there is a wooden deck with table and chairs. There is also a charcoal grill. The cottage is equipped with most things needed for a comfortable stay.



The forest landscape Tiveden has long been known for its dramatic nature. Among rocks and boulders, the large forest grows and small forest lakes sparkle between the trunks. It does not take much imagination to imagine a small Tivedstroll behind a stump.



Nowadays, more and more people have come here and as tourism grows, so does the range of activities. You can, for example, experience nature alone or with a guide, hiking, cycling, fishing, paddling, riding. There are several players in the area who rent out much of the equipment needed. There are also plenty of eateries and cafes as well as sales of local delicacies and crafts.
