Cozy vacation home with fireplace, close to lake and sea and with rowing boat

The small village of Mörkult is located 29 km southeast of Halmstad (west coast) and about 150 km south of Gothenburg. Mörkult means 'dark forest' and so the house is surrounded by fields, meadows and lots of forests, idyllically for every nature lover on a 2,500 m² large, hidden forest property.

The house has the following rooms:

The house has an air-to-air heat pump in the open living room that provides heat throughout the house. A fireplace ensures a cozy, warm climate on cold days. There is a satellite receiver with all common German television programs.

The kitchen is equipped with an electric stove, oven, refrigerator and a microwave. .
The usual kitchen appliances such as hand mixer, kettle, coffee machine and toaster are available.
The kitchen is equipped with dishes for up to four people.
There is hot and cold water in the kitchen and bathroom.

In Mästocka, about one kilometer away, there is a very beautiful swimming lake with changing rooms, toilets, showers and a small sandy beach.
It is approx. 22 km to the sea (12 km long sandy beach, shallow water, very child-friendly and wonderfully lonely in many places).

For fishing enthusiasts, there are fishing opportunities in Lake Mästocka (no fishing license required) and in the River Lagan. In Lake Mästocka there are pike, perch and eels, in the Lagan River (one of the richest salmon rivers in Sweden) you can catch a rainbow trout or salmon. A small rowing boat is available for free use on Lake Mästocka.

On the wonderful large terrace you can sit in the middle of nature and often hear deer and elk roaming through the thickets in the adjacent forest. A large kettle grill invites you to grill.
The surrounding area invites you to take long walks, but also offers great excursion destinations for young and old.

IMPORTANT: You must bring your own bed linen and towels and carry out the final cleaning. Cleaning products are available in the house.
