À propos de cet hébergement
Gorgeous Cottage with Fire Pit and Nice Beach Vistas in Leamington, Ontario
Nestled in the heart of cottage country, just outside town, this charming two-bedroom beach house is the perfect getaway for any season. As you step inside, you'll be greeted by a bright and airy open-concept space. The kitchen, living, and dining areas seamlessly flow together, offering magnificent views of the lake from every angle. Though the kitchen is equipped with the essentials, including an air fryer, BBQ, and a cooktop there’s no oven—but who needs one when you can grill up your favorite meals while soaking in the lake breeze?
Both bedrooms are thoughtfully designed with high-quality cotton linens and incredibly comfortable beds, ensuring you’ll wake up refreshed and ready for a day of adventure or relaxation.
Outside, the options are endless. Start your morning swaying gently in the hammock or enjoy your coffee on the deck as the waves roll in. Spend your days lounging on the soft sandy beach, just steps down from the deck, or explore the nearby Point Pelee National Park, a natural wonder brimming with trails, marshes, and wildlife.
This four-season cottage is perfect for every type of guest. In the warmer months, take advantage of water equipment rentals from Pelee Wings, just down the road, or bring your watercraft and dock it at Caldwell First Nation Marina. In the cooler months, cozy up by the fire pit as you stargaze or enjoy the serenity of the off-season.
Whether you're looking for outdoor adventure or peaceful relaxation, this cottage offers the perfect balance of comfort and natural beauty. We can’t wait to host you for your next unforgettable stay!
From this prime waterfront location, you are minutes from the gates of Point Pelee National Park, a bird and butterfly sanctuary, home of the annual Festival of Birds, with campgrounds, nature trails, and 20 km of sandy beach to take a refreshing swim or to build sandcastles at the southernmost point of mainland Canada. You can reach the National Park on a short walk down picturesque Point Pelee Drive or a casual stroll along the sandy beach from the Lakehouse.
Also, a short drive from the Lakehouse is:
Erie Shores Golf & Country Club, an 18-hole public course nestled on the shore of Lake Erie; Leamington Marina, a deep-water marina that provides various dock sizes; and Pelee Island Ferry Terminal, to take a 1.5-hour ferry ride to Pelee Island and enjoy wine tours, a picnic, swimming, fishing, boating, or a bike ride around the island. Seacliff Park and Beach is a popular local spot featuring an accessible beach boardwalk, beach volleyball and basketball courts, shaded picnic areas, and a splash pad.
The Lake Erie North Shore region is also known for its award-winning wineries lying on the same 42nd parallel as other world famous wine regions like Napa, California, Portugal, Spain and Italy.
