Enjoy the master bedroom with a king-size bed after a day spent at the beach or exploring the local area. The second bedroom features a queen bed plus a single, ideal for families or friends. Both rooms include comfortable mattresses, fresh linens, mosquito nets, and ceiling fans.

KITCHEN

The fully equipped kitchen makes self-catering easy and enjoyable, featuring a fridge/freezer, stove, oven, blender, toaster, and coffee maker. A pass-through connects to the dining area, creating a bright, open space perfect for sharing meals and conversation.

BATHROOMS

The two semi-open bathrooms bring a touch of nature indoors, with greenery creating a calm, relaxing atmosphere. Hot showers with strong water pressure make refreshing after a day at the beach simple and enjoyable. Towels are provided for your convenience.

VERANDA & GARDEN

Step outside to the spacious covered veranda, perfect for enjoying breakfast, dinner, or a coffee while listening to the songs of tropical birds. Spot toucans, colorful parrots, and other exotic birds right from the garden. The lush grounds are filled with fruit trees and unique plants, allowing guests to fully enjoy the natural surroundings.

The nearest international airport is San José (SJO). You can reach Puerto Viejo by car, shuttle, domestic flight (to Limón Airport), or public bus.

LOCATION & NEARBY SERVICES

Casa Corazón is just outside the center of Puerto Viejo de Talamanca. Within walking distance, you’ll find the beach, restaurants, supermarkets, scooter/ATV/bike rentals, a yoga studio, and a tour desk.
A 5-minute drive takes you into town for pharmacies, ATMs, laundromats, clinics, dentists, banks, notaries, and the post office. Puerto Viejo also offers bars, souvenir shops, clothing stores, ice cream parlors, gyms, more yoga studios, massage and beauty salons, and tech repair services.

GARDEN & SEASONAL PRODUCE

Guests are welcome to enjoy fruits and herbs from the garden when ripe. We grow:
pineapple, cacao, jackfruit, soursop, rambutan, orange, sugar cane, mango, banana, plantain, avocado, guava, key lime, cashew fruit, Jamaican cherry, Colombian sapote, and herbs like culantro coyote, basil, lemongrass, and others.

PERSONAL HOST EXPERIENCE:

As your host, I warmly invite you to join my Chocolate & Waterfall Tour. You’ll discover how chocolate is traditionally made, learn about the use of plants in indigenous culture, and visit a ranarium to observe colorful frogs up close. At the end of the tour, you’ll have the chance to swim at the base of a refreshing waterfall or simply relax and soak in the beauty of nature.
