Welcome to the Bavarian Forest National Park!

Surrounded by the picturesque Bavarian landscape, far away from mass tourism and traffic noise, untouched nature awaits you here, no noise, no cars - but plenty of relaxation!

The Daxberg house is located at the end of a private road on a hill right on the edge of the forest in the middle of nature. A large garden with garden furniture invites you to linger. For our little guests we have a sandpit and a swing. There is an 11 kW wall box for electric vehicles right next to the house. We currently charge €0.69 / kW/h

Free parking is available at your accommodation.

If you wish, you can order fresh rolls or a full breakfast from us every day (Mon-Fri until 7:30 a.m., on weekends/public holidays until 8:30 a.m.). The final cleaning of the accommodation costs €17 for up to 2 people, plus €5 per person for each additional person. We charge €10 per pet per night for pets. An early cleaning of the apartment including a change of bed linen and towels can be arranged at any time upon request. The use of the washing machine and dryer is possible for a fee (price information in the accommodation). All of our guests receive the National Park guest card on arrival, with many free and discounted offers around the Bavarian Forest holiday region.

Haus Daxberg is uniquely located at an altitude of 900 meters in the middle of the Bavarian Forest National Park.
It is 3.5 km to Eppenschlag, 5 km to Spiegelau and 10 km to Grafenau. In Spiegelau you will find several large grocery stores and one of the largest forest playgrounds managed by the Bavarian Forest National Park. The "Erlenberg" ski lift can be reached in about 20 minutes, and the large ski region around Bodenmais with the Kleiner and Großer Arber in about 30 minutes. Haus Daxberg is also the ideal starting point for excursions to the nearby excursion region around the Lusen with its numerous attractions such as the famous treetop path. Idyllic hiking trails to the Daxberg can be found right by the house. In about 800 meters you will find the well-known Landgasthof zum Fürstn with typical Bavarian cuisine and other regional delicacies.
