Cozy holiday apartment in the middle of the UNESCO biosphere

Our 3Âœ room HOLIDAY APARTMENT is located in a quiet, slightly elevated area. Beautiful balcony with view of the Brienzer Rothorn. The distance to the village center is 300m, to the post bus stop 100m below the apartment. There are 2 parking spaces directly in front of the front door. Our apartment is ideal for a short or longer break, for relaxation, for active guests or simply for families with children. Please note that we do not have WLAN/Internet. It is essential for us that you, dear guests, focus entirely on rest and relaxation. Enjoy the spectacular panorama, the fresh FlĂŒhli air and the peace and quiet.
Sörenberg information:
The municipality of FlĂŒhli-Sörenberg is the tourist center of the UNESCO Biosphere Entlebuch. The total area of the biosphere is 394 square kilometers and hardly any other region has so many natural treasures in such a small area as the “Wild West of Lucerne”. Enjoy a few relaxing vacation days in beautiful nature in our family-friendly region. Whether you prefer peace and quiet, relaxing in nature or want to conquer the region through sport. In the end, you should return home satisfied and well rested and keep our region in good memory.

Beautiful stay in the Mountains

Extremely clean and beautiful views! Would stay again. About an hour and a half from Grindelwald and a bit less to Lauterbrunnen. Just keep in mind there is an a 40 min windy canyon ride included between the space and main tourist attractions. Also loved that there was a bakery and restaurants within walking distance. One of the dinner spots stated open till 10pm so that was amazing.

Sweet Switzerland vacation get away

Our stary was quite nice and extremely quiet with beautiful mountains and scenery. Was a little disappointed with lack of wifi or no wifi at all. Just in case of emergency of to check on important things or communicate with family or other people we had to communicate with. This location is a good get away that supports hiding from the world to relax and let go.

Cozy mountain get away

A really lovely apartment. It was clean and everything needed was provided. The host quickly got back to our messages and helped us out. We enjoyed our ski trip, just a 10-15min ride by car to the resort and also our stay. The kitchen was very well equipped and we didn't miss any utensils.

Simple but nice unit

We stayed here for two nights before our flight home. Was a nice location to relax and get away from the hustle and bustle of the more touristy areas. The beds were very comfortable.

Just as we had Imagined

Great spacious place to stay. Beautiful views, great little bakery down the hill. Little goats just a few steps down the roads with little bells. Beautiful hiking trails near by. A perfect stay.

Fall in Fluehli

This was a lovely, comfortable, clean apartment with beautiful views and good location for hiking. We took a couple of day trips to Lucerne. Kitchen nicely furnished. We would definitely return!

Tried to contact the host upon arrival, with no success (the key box was on the back of the house). The mountain view was beautiful. Easy to park. The bed was comfortable, but not the pillows. The bathroom is very old and didn’t lock the door. The nearby supermarket closes at 18:30. There’s a playground for children down the street. Overall was ok. Would be good to have a tv.

When we arrived at the property my husband thought it looked like the wrong place and had been abandoned for a long time because the grounds are not kept up well. Once inside it is very clean and nice. The balcony overlooks the mountains and valley. There are cute sheep & goats with bells near by who will greet you if you're walking into to town. There are many hiking trails near by and a special spring fed pond area that people use for health. You can swim but no suits allowed and it is freezing cold! But they suggest to put your feet and legs only. There is a good bakery down the street with nice bread & pastries. It is a pretty remote place so I suggest having a car. The only down sides was the internet took us 2 hrs to figure out as there was no instructions in English or German. You have to plug in a Hotspot that was in a drawer we found. Contacting the host was not easy and she speaks only German. We never actually talked to her. There was less than 1/2 of a roll toilet paper when we arrived and we ran out the first day. We checked all the areas that they said on the instructions to find more but no luck. No stores were open to buy any either. Otherwise the placed is well stocked with spices, coffee and dishes etc... We had to leave a day early and tried again to contact the host by calling but no answer. Anyways it is a nice place in a beautiful location. If you write and speak German it is a big plus!!

Die Wohnung liegt in einer wunderschönen Gegend. Hat einen sehr schönen Balkon. Wohnzimmer und Schlafzimmer sind top. KĂŒche und Badezimmer sind renovierungsbedĂŒftig. Das Badezimmer ist sehr alt und man kann nicht im Stehen duschen. Duschkopf hĂ€ngt ca 1,50 Meter hoch. KĂŒche ist voll funktionfĂ€hig aber auch schon ein bißchen in die Jahre gekommen. Alles andere wie SchlĂŒsselĂŒbergabe funktioniert problemlos.

Super Aufenthalt

Es hat uns sehr gut gefallen. Die Ferienwohnung war gemĂŒtlich und fĂŒr einen einwöchigen Aufenthalt völlig ausreichend eingerichtet. Die Kommunikation mit den Betreibern war zĂŒgig, zuvorkommend und sehr hilfeorientiert.

Familie mit Kleinkindern die Wohnung bietet viel Platz mit separaten RĂ€umlichkeiten sowie zum spielen im Wohn/Essbereich. Die KĂŒche ist nicht Familien gerecht ausgerĂŒstet fehlt einiges an Zubehör. Die Wohnung haben wir aufgerĂ€umt jedoch nicht sauber angetroffen. Im Bad fehlt ein Duschvorhang und ein intakter, sauberer Toilettenring wĂ€re angenehm gewesen. Insgesamt war der Aufenthalt okey.

Es war ein sehr schöner Kurztrip. Die Wegbeschreibung war sehr gut und man hat alles sofort gefunden. Es war sehr sauber und gut ausgestattet.

Schöne gemĂŒtliche Wohnung!

Es war sehr schön, und wir haben uns sehr wohl gefĂŒhlt. Die Wohnung war sehr gut ausgerichtet fĂŒr 6 Personen, sehr sauber und alles war zur VerfĂŒgung da, was man im Alltag braucht. Wir haben die Wohnung fĂŒr sehr kurze Zeit gebucht, das nĂ€chste mal wird es definitiv lĂ€nger. Die Wohnung ist empfehlenswert!

Praktische Wohnung

Die Wohnung ist praktisch und soweit gut eingerichtet. Pluspunkte sind: gemĂŒtliches grosses Sofa, schöner Essbereich, beheizter Skiraum, genĂŒgend Platz fĂŒr die Familie. Minuspunkte sind: fehlende TĂŒre bei einem Schlafzimmer (also nur ein abtrennbares Schlafzimmer)! Sehr unpraktische Dusche (Duschvorhang ist eine Notlösung) KĂŒchenschrĂ€nke alt und verbastelt. Jedoch neue SpĂŒhlmaschine und Herd, was sehr angenehm ist. Kontakt mit den Vermietenden sehr angenehm, Ablauf unkompliziert. Alles in allem empfehlenswert fĂŒr einen kurzen Urlaub.
