Bourne Cottage in Dock Square

The Bourne Cottage is a thoughtfully designed, well appointed and spacious studio located in the heart of desirable Dock Square, Kennebunkport. This cottage is unique in that while being steps from the variety of shops and restaurants, it’s tucked down the end of a side street creating peace and tranquility. High end design, gorgeous tile work throughout the bathroom and kitchenette, plush king sized bed, cathedral ceiling, and warm wood floors. This cottage has everything one might need!

As you pull up to the Bourne Cottage, you’ll see it nestled in at the end of the road, with mature trees and landscaping, including a tree swing. There is a front patio with chairs to enjoy morning coffee or evening sunsets in the serene and peaceful setting the cottage provides. Once inside, the cottage has large cathedral ceilings, allowing ample light and making the space feel both inviting and spacious. There is a plush king bed with luxurious bedding. Two oversized sitting chairs flank the end of the bed. Table and chairs for an eating area, or work space. A large smart tv faces the bed and table. The kitchenette is both stylish and mindfully designed to include everything you may need during your stay - cook top, mini fridge, microwave, sink, coffee maker, pots/pans, tablewear, and utensils.

The bathroom and main living space are separated by a spacious open closet area that has closets and drawers, a pack n play and high chair, beach towels etc.

The bathroom has gorgeous tile throughout, making it feel high end and spa-like. There is also a heated fan in the ceiling for those colder days, to help make you feel warm and cozy.

Follow the walkway to the back of the cottage where you’ll find a private enclosed outdoor shower - perfect for days after the beach.

As mentioned, the cottage is mere steps from all that Dock Square has to offer - a plethora of stores and restaurants at your feet. Goochs beach, the most popular of town, is a mere 5 minute drive, as well as the colony beach, and mother’s beach.Parsons Beach and Goose Rocks beach are also only a short drive away.

The Bourne Cottage is the perfect year round getaway for those who want to be in the action, but have a quiet place to retreat to after!

Guests have access to the entire cottage and yard **except for the loft**. The stairs to the loft are blocked with a gate for safety purposes of guests. **We ask that all guests refrain from accessing the stairs to the loft. Thank you for your cooperation**

I live locally here in town, and am available should you need anything via Airbnb app or phone!

The loft is off limits to all guests for safety purposes. The stairs are blocked by a gate. Please do not open the gate and access the loft.

The owners of the Bourne Cottage also own the main house to the left that the driveway is shared with. This is a secondary home, not a primary residence. We will do our best to inform guests if the owners will be in the main house during stays. Please be respectful of the shared property. Thank you!
