Ideal location for business trip to Denver.

Ideal little place.. much better than a hotel. We enjoyed book selection and also, the HBO movies. The little bakery around the corner was the best!

Buyer Beware-Trustfulness

Buyer Beware. I am disabled with CPTSD & CTrauma from an abusive marriage & I was treated disrespectfully & ignored, and mistreated due to my emotional upregulation, which I explained & documented as part of my “ Fight & Flight” brain damage. I have no hope and faith in VRBO and that they work with honest people. Janene, the Property Manager, was dishonest and never returned emails or calls & when she did, she was bent out of shape and directly confronted. She requested s second deposit after VRBO overcharged me for items I did not damage at the end of my lease. The stairs in the hallway were so short and dark it was unsafe & due to my lazy eye & depth perception lazy eye disability too, & I would accidentally tumble down the stairs & no light was installed - & the stairs were too short & had old, damaged, dirty carpet w chunks of the walls laying on them. The stairs were never vacuumed, and I kept “catching myself” on the chips, & short stairs falling.Janene wanted no contact with the tenants whatsoever; even from the beginning, I never received a response. It should’ve been a red flag, and they put the bare minimum in. The cement surrounding the facility was cracked and uneven, and I would catch myself falling there as well, and it was dark and scary, and I didn’t feel safe, and there were never any motion lights that were turned on when he would walk through—the dark part between the two houses. The bathroom window was falling apart & all the windows were stuck & dirty.

Great location, very clean and comfortable

We stayed the month of August in this apartment. The apartment is one of four (?) apartments in a large older home built in the late 1800's. The location is great. At the end of the street (less than half a block) there are numerous restaurants and pubs that make for a delightful summer evening and downtown is only about ten minutes away. The neighborhood is nice and quiet during the evenings. The airport is about 25 to 30 minutes away. There are also large parks, the arboretum, the zoo and the Denver Museum of Nature and Science only minutes away. The air conditioner is located in the small bedroom but adequately cools the entire (but very small) apartment. There is a full-sized refrigerator, oven and stove in the kitchen, but lack of counter space makes preparing meals challenging. There is no dishwasher. The internet is excellent and there is cable TV. The landlord is very friendly and responsive. Overall, we had an enjoyable stay.

Great Location

My boyfriend and I stayed here for a long weekend and had a blast. It was in the perfect location, right next to restaurants, bars and breweries. We enjoyed walking around the neighborhood and took a quick Uber to check out the breweries in River North after being referred to that area. I would definitely recommend this place.

Great accommodations!

Great location to restaurants and easy access to interstate. The apartment was the perfect size for my daughter and me. It was very clean and stylish. I highly recommend! We will definatley stay here again on our next trip to Denver!

Very nice apartment with all the key amenities, small kitchen, nice bedroom with a perfect living room with a flat screen. Very close to downtown and easy to get to wonderful restaurants on 17th avenue by walking. The hosts provided a welcome bag with a bottle of wine and water. If you are staying for a few days there is access to a washer and dryer in the basement. We highly recommended staying at Jeanne's wonderful little apartment as we greatly enjoyed are stay!

Cozy Clean place in great location

When we arrived we were pleased the listing description accurately described the rental regarding location, layout, and amenities. The property was clean and well-maintained and the owner provided nice customer service. We would you recommend this property to our friends and relatives and hope to stay again. Great for walking to parks, restaurants and downtown!

Cute Cozy and charming Apartment in great Location

This apartment is perfect for a couple looking to explore the city of Denver. We walked nearly everywhere for two days before renting a car to venture out further. The location is perfect to hit all sights north, east, south and west of the city. The apartment itself is well stocked and clean. The cable TV with HBO on demand was great for the evening in front of the fireplace. We used the laundry room as well, which is very handy and convenient. All the instructions were great! The only thing I would change is the sofa. The little two seater with high arms is not very comfortable to relax on. Thanks for a fun, cozy place to stay to while visiting Denver!

Jeanne and Juve's apt was perfect - very clean and REALLY comfortable bed -convenient to bus lines and restaurants and when I had a question Juve got back to me immediately. Had a great stay!

Very comfortable

This apartment is in an older part of downtown but is very quaint and in a great location for all that we wanted to do while in Denver. Even though the house is older it had all the modern conveniences and it was very clean, good bed and very homey. It is on the second floor and sometimes the noise from the other apartments was a little distracting but not a bother. That is what happens when you are in any multiple dwelling. There was some work being done in the main floor apartment and outside in the front of the house. This didn't bother us and was reassuring in the fact that they are keeping it nice. It was great having many different restaurants close by. We stayed 5 nights and enjoyed every minute we were there. We would definitely go back to this apartment if in Denver again.

Comfortable stay; great location

Jeanne and Juve keep this small one bedroom immaculate. Everything you need is there including coffee and a welcome bag. There is a flat screen television with cable and HBO. the decor is updated and remodeled. It is a very short walk to several restaurants offering breakfast, lunch, dinner and happy hour. The apt. is in a Victorian house on a nice street. It is about a mile walk to the 16th street mall as well as museums and the Capitol. The owners are easily accessible for any problems or for information. I would definitely recommend this place for a single or couple

Great Apartment and Loaction

This unit is a section of a house. At first I was a little apprehensive but once I got there it faded quickly. This is a one bedroom one bath unit easily enough room for 2 although I was by myself. Very comfortable and quite with pretty much everything you need. Great location to lots of restaurants, parks and site seeing. The parking in the back is great too. Jeanne was a great host and was very responsive and helpful. Would defiantly stay here again.

Great apartment and exceptional hosts

This was my second stay at Jeanne's apartments and it was as delightfully comfortable as the first. Everything was wonderful and Jeanne was very attentive and a perfect host. The neighborhood has everything I wanted and I definitely plan to return on my next visit to Denver.

My favorite place.

I frequent Denver a few times a year and really enjoy staying in Jeanne and Juve's house. During my last trip, my husband and I stayed in their larger one bedroom and it was lovely. On this trip, I was traveling alone, so decided to stay in this smaller one bedroom. The apartment is adorable and comfy. The kitchen has everything you need to make light meals, although I mostly ate out with the selection of eateries on the corner. You will not want to miss the Olive and Finch bakery across the street. The Denver Botanic Garden's were beautiful: about six blocks from the house. Thank you, Jeanne and Juve for providing such a nice place.

Adorable Apartment and house in Denver

I visited my daughter in Denver and was fortunate enough to stay in this adorable home with so many neighboring eateries. It was clean and very comfortable. Had everything I needed. I was able to cook and do laundry. The proximity to Downtown and City Park was terrific. Walked every day downtown to shops and restaurants. I will definitely stay again when in Denver.

Charming Restful Retreat!

Jeanne's apartment is lovely and is perfect for a stay in one of Denver's hottest neighborhoods. The apartment is around the corner from Olive and Finch, a terrific eatery, and just steps from the very popular 17th Avenue. Moreover, the apartment has been recently remodeled and is beautiful--tasteful furnishings, new bathroom fixtures, and new kitchen appliances. Jeanne took great care to make sure that her apartment has everything you need for a short-stay. Loved it

Good

Only problem were the killer stairs , we have bad knees and didn't realize it would be so bad ! there was ice between the buildings so we had issues parking , unseasonable snow was a challenge! Nice place ! Very comfortable!

Shhhh...don't let the secret out!

I recently returned from a long weekend in Denver to visit with my brother and his wife, who just relocated to the city from out of state. I'm a bit remiss writing this review knowing that what I'm about to say will make it that much more difficult for me to reserve this outstanding apartment the next time we're visiting Denver. Let me first start with the hosts and owners, Jeanne and Juve. My experience renting from start to finish could not have been more professional. They are very thorough in making sure you have everything you need to make your stay pleasant and enjoyable, and were very prompt in returning any of my questions & inquires throughout my visit. In terms of location, you just can't do any better. Located in central Denver in a quaint city neighborhood, there is no need to rent a car, as you're walking distance to great restaurants, coffee shops, outstanding city parks, and area attractions. The apartment itself is very charming, and housed in a turn of the century home. You'll find the layout with its separate bedroom, extremely functional kitchen, great natural lighting, and cozy living room to be very comfortable and as far away from the sterile feeling often experienced in a hotel room, as you can get. Jeanne and Juve have done an excellent job providing an extremely well appointed (great bedding, bathroom accessories, and well stocked kitchen) and very clean apartment. All in all, a great value, particularly compared to any other hotels in the area. You can be sure we'll be staying here the next time we visit Denver! Now that I've let the secret out, do you're best to keep this to yourself!

Great apartment in great area

Loved my stay at this apartment! Pictures are exactly what the place looks like. Unlike other rentals in area, this rental has parking! A huge plus in this area!

Our house has been in our family, passed down over two generations. We are Colorado Natives and continue to live in the area. We love our great blue sky, our mountains, and all that Denver has to offer. With so many options available we happy to provide suggestions for activities and restaurants in the area.

Our walkscore is 95 and with b-cycle rentals across the street, our bike score is 99! There are nine eateries with-in one block of our house. Buses into downtown and the Convention center travel every 15 minutes and pick-up/drop off within 1-2 blocks of our house.

Our house is cozy. It has charm and comfort with high end beds and all the conveniences needed for a home away from home. It is priced much cheaper than any equivalent hotel in the area.
