We invite you to experience our beautiful holiday home far away from mass tourism in calm, rural surroundings. We offer you our fully detached first class holiday home for two. Your residence is part of our more than 30.000 m2 measuring finca; on your holiday you can call a plot of 250 m2 your place - patio and barbecue included. Subtropical plants flourish in the garden and you will have an incredible view over the Atlantic Ocean and the islands of La Gomera and La Palma.
In our stand-alone holiday home you will find – apart from the incredible view on the ocean and the neighboring islands La Gomera and La Palma – a completely furnished kitchen with fridge and freezer, a gas oven, a microwave, a toaster, and a coffee machine. Next to the kitchenette you have got a little dinette with a wonderful ocean view.
Here on Tenerife’s west coast above the villages of Los Gigantes and Playa de la Arena we have 350 days of sunshine per year. You can look forward to enjoying our very calm and silent finca next to a natural reserve 450 m above sea level. Spend untroubled holidays on our finca under dreamlike sun, even in the wintertime. Enjoy numerous recreational activities and discover Tenerife’s rich cultural heritage and the island’s delicate gastronomic specialties. The next village, Chío, is located just about 3 km from our finca, so you can also reach it if you go for a walk enjoying the beautiful environment. To get to know the island or to go shopping you will need a car. We are happy to help you rent a car.
You have got your own patio with a nice barbecue in the outdoor area. During your barbecues you have a very nice view into the garden and the surroundings. A comfortable bench invites you to enjoy the sunset under palm trees - depending on the season, diving into the sea or disappearing behind one of the neighboring islands.
On our finca, we are living together with our dogs – protected by them and the gates you can feel save.
The water we are using is of the highest quality from a nearby deep well; our electricity is generated by the sun – in isolated operation, without connection to the public electric supply network. During the few rainy days and the adverse weather period in the winter we might have an undersupply – for those cases we do have a diesel generator. During wintertime a gas oven may be provided .
We grow wine, fruits, vegetables and spices in our own garden, for our own needs. We are glad to offer you some of our organic seasonal products for sale.
The mobile telephone networks of Telefónica, Vodafone and other providers support our Finca with coverage. You have internet access via Wi-Fi, free and fair usage provided.
We will extend a warm welcome to you with a bowl of local fruits and a bottle of excellent Spanish wine.
Chío, a beautiful small village, is just a five minutes’ drive away. There you can do your daily shopping, find some restaurants, take a walk or simply explore the country and it’s people. Nearby there are beaches. You can reach the next beach in Playa de la Arena in about 10 minutes by car. It’s one of the most beautiful beaches on the island with its typical black sand and the Atlantic Oceans’ clear water. The cute little villages nearby, Los Gigantes, Playa de la Arena and Alcalá have romantic bays that are worth visiting.
In the residential area you may have a seat on a comfortable couch, read a book, enjoy music on the 3.1 sound system or watch a movie on the LED flat screen – Astra offers you German and English satellite TV and radio. You may also bring your own movies. In the bathroom you will find a shower, a washing stand, and a toilet with a funny lid. The bedroom is bright, painted in fresh colors and arranged with modern furniture, inviting you to be comfortable. One sleeping room is available when booking up to 2 persons. Usage of separated sleeping rooms only on agreement.
