These apartments are in a timber-framed house in the village republic of RĂŒterberg near Dömitz. Wireless Internet access is available.
In fine weather the generous terrace, with a giant awning, invites you to enjoy breakfast outdoors. The 2000mÂČ site has dreamy spots with table and chairs, benches or sun loungers so you can sit and relax. There are also a gazebo and a wine cellar, where you can sample wines from the Rheingau. You can watch fish from the bridge over the little pond. There is a vegetable garden with many kinds of vegetables and herbs, which you can help yourself to on request.
Would you like to really relax and switch off? This holiday property in RĂŒterberg near Dömitz may be just the right place for you. The park-like site and the lovely river landscape provide space to get away from it all. You can go on adventure tours with the in-house sea kayaks (with life jackets and paddles), folding boats or bicycles. We can also offer guided tours. There are also other bicycle hire services. RĂŒterberg is situated amidst the Elbtalaue cultural landscape nestled between Mecklenburg, Niedersachsen, Brandenburg and Sachsen-Anhalt. You can experience history here. You can go on day trips to Schwerin, Ludwigslust, Hamburg, Hitzacker, LĂŒneburg and other interesting towns. The Hamburg-Wittenburg Alpincenter is only an hour away. The Elbe cycling and hiking trail invites you to go exploring. The owners look forward to welcoming you and will do their best to make your stay as pleasant as possible. We also offer the opportunity to take part in painting classes (oil and acrylic), to work with Ytong, felt or clay.
The owners also run a local café. A bakery and a butcher visit the village several times a week. The owners can prepare breakfast and dinner on request (especially for short stays). It is planned to open a little on-site store where you can purchase basic groceries, honey and jam. There is a wine cellar on site including wines from the Rheingau, which guests can purchase. The nearest grocery shops are in Dömitz (Aldi, Norma, Penny, Konsum) and in Dannenberg (Famila, Edeka, Lidl, Aldi, Rewe etc.).
The distances to sights, sports and cultural facilities are the same as for apartment 2.
The apartment has a conservatory, a living room with an integrated kitchen, a bedroom with a double bed (160 x 200cm) and a lovely daylight bathroom. The living room provides a modern corner sofa bed with comfortable cushions. A coffee table, footstools, a dresser, a desk and a flatscreen TV are also provided. The modern kitchen unit is equipped with a ceramic hob, double sink, toaster, coffee machine, kettle and plenty of crockery, pans and glasses for four to six people. The owners can provide further accessories. The bedroom is furnished with a comfortable double bed and a three-door wardrobe with a full-length mirror. The window is fitted with a blind, as well as a mosquito screen for undisturbed sleep. The daylight bathroom has a round shower, washbasin, wall-mounted WC, bathroom furniture, a towel radiator and under-floor heating. The conservatory has a dining space with a table and four chairs, where you can relax on cool days, with under-floor heating exuding pleasant warmth. Shades ensure a pleasant indoor climate on hot days. From here you can enjoy the view of the wonderfully planted garden. The accommodation features an accomplished mixture of lovely old furniture and modern elements. It is barrier-free and mostly suitable for the disabled. There is central heating that can also be used in summer if required. Water is heated by solar energy and most of the electricity is also generated by solar panels.
