This 1947 Cape Cod home blends historic charm with modern updates. Just a 2-minute walk to landmarks like the library, parks, and historical sites. Features include 4 bedrooms, 2 baths, and unique quirks like uneven floors. Recent updates: kitchen, bathrooms, and more. A $300 refundable security deposit is required. Enjoy the cozy vibe and prime location in the heart of Cary!
The house itself has its unique quirks and charm from its age. A truly remarkably different structure than the normal house built in that time frame. The second floor used to be aloft for sleeping quarters, which it is now converted into two bedrooms and a bath. All the floors are not even, but that makes for good conversation topics.
There is a full bath on each floor. Each and every bedroom has its own door for privacy.
Recent Updates:
Feb 2022 - Updated upstairs bathroom. Tub, floor, and vanity.
Dec 2021 - converted a storage room into 4th bedroom.
Oct 2021 - Updated kitchen cabinets and counter. Updated master bedroom closet. Add a closet to the bedroom upstairs. Replaced floor in the hallway, upstairs, and downstairs.
Feb 2021 - Converted ceiling area behind bedroom 3 into a closet.
June 2021 - Enlarged utility area in the back of entrance, added wandd, vinyl floor. Painted front porch entrance floor “Carolina blue”.
Mar 2020 - Updated floodlights in the back parking lot and side.
Feb 2020 - Swapped out the water heater with tankless.
RESERVATION POLICIES:
1 - Door codes are always shared at 4 PM. The check-in time frame is from 4 PM-11 PM, anytime after that would be considered a violation of our rules, this timeframe allows us to help if needed during our working hours(8AM-12AM).
2 - Early check-in, Late check-out, and Early bag drop are subject to availability
3 - Door codes will not be shared if the incidentals deposit of $100 and registration are still pending.
4 - Deposit is released 3-7days after the original check-out date,
5 - All complaints must be notified after 30 mins of check-in.
6 - All departures must be reported immediately in a very clear way to us after for calendar availability to others and issue resolution for you, it is recommended to send an alteration request if needed, this helps you to get the unspent nights back while we get the calendar available again, we can then check the spent nights.
7 - All reservation changes must be done before the checkout time each day (11 AM), changes can not be done after 11 AM as per the app configuration, we can not override this.
8 - If you need an early departure, please submit an alteration request so it can easily be approved.
9 - No courtesy refunds are provided.
10 - If you happen to request a full refund for any circumstance please be ready for Immediate check-out, be sure to alternate the reservation for an early departure so we can approve the unspent nights that were supposed to be non-refundable, so we then might consider another courtesy for the spent night if applicable.
12 - If you want me to coordinate any amenities, please let me know 24 hours in advance (4 PM-12 AM) so my team can deliver or resolve on-site the next day.
13 - Extra cleanings in case of Issues or courtesies should be arranged 24 hours in advance and before 10 AM each day.
11 - INCIDENTAL DEPOSITS POLICY: Amount of the Incidentals fee hold after booking: $100. As an API software connected Host, we are entitled to ask for a preventive fee in case of damages with the usage of a 3rd party. Airbnb's policy, see here: https://www.airbnb.com/help/article/140 In situations where the damages exceed the amount of the deposit, we will utilize the resolution center to address the liability for these damages. Through this process, Airbnb may either charge the cost to your card or apply AirCover for resolution.
12 - REGISTRATION POLICY
Registration is a mandatory step after booking, requiring the submission of IDs for all guests under the reservation. and even will ask you to scan your credit card. - It's crucial to complete both (Deposit and registration) accurately; failure to do so will result in your reservation termination with no refund.
Due to the layout of this house, there are no closets in any of the bedrooms. There is a closet in the upstairs hallway between the two bedrooms which has a small dresser and hangers. The first floor bedroom has a small dresser.
Check-in is any time after 4 PM.
Check-out is at 11 AM. Please note that a late Check-out without authorization will lead to a night-rate cost penalty, that could be deducted from your security deposit.
Parties are fully prohibited. QUIET TIME FROM 10 PM TO 6 AM.
$300 penalty for smoking on the property. You will also be dismissed from your rental without a refund.
$250 penalty if noise level, parties, or other obscene behavior requires a police callout. You will also be dismissed from the property without a refund.
$100 Penalty for leaving trash outside the entrance to your property. Once your trash cans are full, please deposit trash in the large trash cans located at the building entrance.
$200 fine for leaving the Kayaks on the pool. Kindly return them to the designated place.
Please do not throw trash or paper towels or toilet paper in the toilet to avoid clogging. Please use the trash can :)
Damage to the interior of the property or common areas will result in a pro-rated auto-chargeback from your booking account
On checkout please turn off the lights, the A/C unit, water, and gas/stove, and lock the door behind you
Penalties will automatically be withdrawn from your security deposit and/or your booking account.

2) Please recycle in brown trash bin.
3) If staying over Wednesday, please take dumpsters to curb. Trash day (green dumpster) is every Wednesday’s with every other week recycling (brown dumpster). See neighbor to determine which week is recycling. Roll the appropriate dumpsters to curb for city pickup and back in to can corral at end of day.
3) Place all dishes in the dishwasher and start it before departing please.
4) Set thermostat to 60 deg in winter or 85 degrees in summer.
5) Lock front with keypad when depart.
