Detached home in ESPOSENDE, with private parking with a garage for 2 cars, with 3 floors, 5 bedrooms all with en-suite shower rooms,please note (bathtubs are out of action) 4 of the bedrooms with double beds and 1 bedroom with 2 singles. Fresh linen is provided. Large Dining room with capacity for 12 people. A kitchen with all the ameneties, a spacious lounge with fireplace and TV, a sun lounge overlooking the swimming pool with deck chairs. Surrounded by a well maintained garden with a large undercovered barbecue and dining area for 12 people. In a secluded and relaxing atmosphere. Walking distance is 3 mins to Aldi supermarket, 15 mins to local beach, 10 mins to the small village of Esposende where you can find all of the local shops where all the necessities can be found, coffee shops, fresh cake shops, supermarkets, local fish restaurants and a small market twice a week. Easy to travel to from the Airport Sa Carneiro (40 mins), well situated for day trips to visit Viana do Castelo, Barcelos, Guimaraes or the city of Porto to visit the attractions, the Douro river and various port wine caves.
This is an ideal property for a numerous family or friends who want a relaxing holiday close to the sea.

Esposende villa

Verry spacious villa with a great garden pool and outdoor space. Would have given it 5 stars but we had a few small issues with plumbing and electrics but nothing to spoil our lovely holiday.

Great house. So much space. Lovely area.

We so enjoyed our stay. The pool was a big hit. And the outside bbq area. Used that almost every night. Short walk to great little restaurant (A Petisqueira). And quite beach 15 mins walk with lovely little beach bar. We never used the dinning room but sure in winter would be great. Great stay.

A wonderful getaway!

We had the most wonderful week's stay at Mike's property. The house is in a peaceful location, a short walk from the coast and close (short drive) to two lovely beaches. Lots of cafes and restaurants you can walk/drive to. Very easily accessible from Porto and a short drive to some lovely cities like Braga. The house itself was great for accommodating multiple families, thanks to all the bedrooms having their own bathrooms (note the baths were not available for use). The communal areas are great - especially the outdoor dining area and BBQ which got a lot of use. But the biggest highlight is the HUGE swimming pool, which seemed even larger in person. Mike was super helpful and communicative throughout. Would highly recommend this property for a Northern Portugal getaway!

The perfect holiday

We had such a lovely time here. The villa was perfect, plenty of space for everyone. Very well equipped! We absolutely loved the outdoor bbq area and the swimming pool. I highly rate Michael as a host!! Very helpful and responsive with any questions we had. Look forward to coming back here again.

Relaxing holiday

Firstly to address a couple of slight niggles from previous visitors. Yes some of the decor isn’t to our ‘taste’ but we were visitors in someone else’s house and it’s up to the owner how they furnish it. The flies, whilst we were there, although annoying was nothing more then I have experienced in other places we have stopped or indeed at home. We (3 adults and 1 one year old) stopped at the villa the first week of June. My partner and her business partner’s dance school were representing England at the World Cup in braga so we wanted somewhere to stay close enough to Porto airport and braga but also to have a relaxing holiday. The villa and the town of esposende did not disappoint. The villa and the grounds it stands on are huge. 5 bedrooms all on suite, ample kitchen with everything you need, Lounge, dining room, utility room with washer and dryer and outside dining area. The villa was spotless when we arrived. For us the best part was sitting at night enjoying the silence with the folding doors open looking at the pool enjoying the cooling breeze. The villa is completely enclosed so our 1 year could happily toddle around safely. The pool was not heated but was well maintained and there was a net to fish out any rogue leaves that landed on the water. Plenty of inflatables and toys to use in the pool. There is an Aldi about 5 mins walk away and the beautiful beach about 15 mins away. The town was very relaxed and pretty. I would definitely recommend and would visit again

Amazing property

We spent 7 nights here in July and really wished we could have stayed longer. We were a party of 7 adults ranging from 17 - 82 years of age. The photos do not do the size of the property justice as it so much more spacious. All bedrooms are a good size and all have lovely en suite bathrooms. The pool was huge and the outdoor barbecue area was great for breakfast & evening dining. Mike was really helpful and met us at the Villa when we arrived. He was also only a text message away if we had any further questions. Esposende is a beautiful town with many hidden bars no cafes scattered around. If you are looking for a fast busy town then this is not for you but if you prefer the quieter life and smaller bars? Then this is definitely the place for you. Although a busy night life is not far away, (approx 15 mins by taxi) as my daughters discovered. There are 2 supermarkets which are in walking distance and the beach was only a 10 min walk away from the villa. We hired a car and spent one day in Braga and one day in Porto. I would recommend visiting both these places. I would also highly recommend eating out at the local pizza restaurant. Unfortunately I can't remember it's name but it's a 10 min walk towards the town centre, just on the roundabout opposite the petrol station. Food here was delicious and the staff were very friendly. We tried all three supermarkets and found the small one just right to the villa was the most resonably price. We will definitely be returning.

NICE SPACIOUS VILLA WITH POOL - POOR LOW STANDARD KITCHEN EQUIPMENT FOR LOW CATEGORYCAMPING

Spacious villa with pool, nice garden, nice BBQ area on covered terrace. Several leaks and technical issues. Very fast and reactive action have been taken when problems occurred but no anticipation as several leaks! Very disappointing equipments. The kitchen equipment is very basic for guests who like cooking or who spent some time in the kitchen (children). Very cheap utensils (Ikea pots and pans!!) , most of the pans are worn, the fridge is not working properly (bad quality) = we were obliged to put white wine and beers in the freezer to cool them? No wooden nor plastic spoons to be used in the pots & pans. Obliged to buy some? No utensil to mash potatoes (children?), no whip to beat the eggs? Missing conservation plastic boxes. Extremely disappointing when you are with little kids and that you have to run here and there for little missing items. This is not acceptable: when you pay a serious amount of money you expect that everything is perfect? If you ask me if I would recommend? You find the answer in my evaluation! Xavier

Dejlig feriebolig til storfamilie

Dejligt indrettet og meget stort hus der fungerede godt for en familie med meget spredt aldersfordeling. Allerbedst var poolområdet og den udendørs, overdækkede spiseplads, hvor vi nærmest opholdt os under hele ferien. Alt fungerede perfekt, masser af køkkengrej, altid varmt vand i hanerne, en flot have og et godt lydisoleret hus - en stor fordel, når så mange er samlet. Aldi supermarkedet, 200 m fra huset, har dejligt friskbagt brød hver dag. God udgangspunkt for at besøge byerne i den nordlige del af Portugal. Kan på det varmeste anbefale stedet.

Férias em Família

Fora uns dia bem passados...muito espaço para familias...as fotos transmitem a realidade. Habitação com excelentes condições...o exterior muito bem tratado, piscina grande de água salgada e com acessórios para usufruir, um espaço exterior de refeições excelente com churrasqueira e forno. No geral - recomendo. A repetir :)

Premières vacances au Portugal

Très belle maison, bien située et bien équipée, conforme à l'annonce. La piscine, le jardin et l'espace barbecue ont particulièrement été appréciés. Quant aux échanges avec Mike notre hôte et à l'accueil à notre arrivée , ils ont été "top" !

Villa d'exception

Villa ayant plu à l'ensemble du groupe. Chaque chambre dispose de sa salle de bains. Le linge est fourni en suffisance. La cuisine et le coin barbecue très bien équipé. La piscine et lejardin très bien entretenus.

Tilava, toimiva talo turvallisessa ympäristössä

Villa Anton sijaitsee kävelymatkan päässä Esposenden keskustasta, ALDI vain noin 300 metrin pääsä. Auton saa pihaan. Talossa on kaikki mukavuudet 10 hengen majoittumiseen + iso uima-allas. Tarvittaessa yhteyden vuokranantajaan saa heti. Meidän 9 hengen ryhmämme viihtyi erinomaisesti. Esposendestä on helppo matkustella ympäri Pohjois-Portugalia. Portoon kannattaa mennä bussilla. HIeno paikka! Marja-Terttu & 8 muuta suomalaista.

A casa é excelente, muito completa, espaçosa e com todos os equipamentos e utensílios necessários. A piscina é ótima e segura para crianças por ser baixa em com um declive suave até à parte mais profunda. A área da churrasqueira é muito agradável e inclui um forno a lenha. A zona é muito calma e a uma pequena caminhada da marginal e da praia. Recomendo.

Tranquilidad garantizada

Es una gran casa muy bien acondicionada ( mobiliario algo anticuado pero buena calidad), con una bonita zona de barbacoa. Está a 10 -15 minutos de la playa caminando aunque hay q cruzar una carretera muy transitada. Como cosa reprochable , el yacuzzi que sale en las fotos no funciona.
