I chose Kitisuru because it’s one of Nairobi’s most serene and secure neighborhoods — a peaceful, leafy escape from the city bustle. It’s home to a vibrant diplomatic and expatriate community thanks to its close proximity to the UN headquarters in Gigiri, several embassies, and international organizations. The area is known for its high level of security and quiet charm, making it an ideal location for both short and long stays.

What I enjoy most about Kitisuru is the calm atmosphere — no traffic jams, very few matatus (local public transport), and minimal city noise. It's the perfect spot to unwind after a day out. With quick access to the Nairobi Expressway, it’s only a 20-minute drive to Jomo Kenyatta International Airport and offers an easy connection to the Standard Gauge Railway for travel to the Coast.

For convenience, guests have access to nearby supermarkets, eateries, pharmacies, and laundry services. You’re also just minutes away from some of Nairobi’s premier shopping destinations, including Two Rivers Mall, Village Market, Sarit Centre, Westgate Mall, and ABC Place — all offering a variety of shops, restaurants, cinemas, and entertainment options.
