Annousa's Pounentes Studio for 2-3, patio with sea, hillside and sunset view

Pounentes is a spacious 2-person studio that can alternatively accommodate 2 adults plus child or infant. There is a double kingsize bed and an optional sofabed or cot. The patio looks north and west, taking in the glorious sunsets over the sea and the distant mountains on the mainland.

Annousa’s Studios provide luxury holiday (and business) self-catering accommodation for 2 to 4 guests in the tranquil Greek village of Kallirahi, looking westward over the sea just 2.5km away down the hill from the village. All studios have Wifi, cable TV and Smart TV, an en-suite bathroom and a kitchenette equipped with double electric hot-plates, fridge, Nespresso coffee-maker, toaster and kettle, cutlery and cookware. Private carpark available. Laundry facilities are available. Bed and bath linen are changed every 3-4 days. Swimming towels for the beach are provided.

Kallirahi village has several coffee shops and tavernas on the village square, a super fish shop which cooks the fish you choose, small grocery shops, etc. It nestles on the hillside above the sea and makes a great base for walks back into the green hills behind.

Thassos has a lacework of beautiful beaches and coves all around the island, both with organised services and open to all. It is also a lovely place for walking and hiking, with its wood-covered hillsides providing shade as well as beauty. Seek out the waterfalls here and there or climb the hills to enjoy the stunning views. In neighbouring villages you can find a riding stables and mountain-bikes for rent. Archaeological sites abound; walk up to the ancient theatre in Limenas (Thassos Town) and then continue up past the Byzantine fortress to the ancient acropoli of Thassos, once sheathed in gold (mined locally) according to ancient reports.
The Studios have been designed and built to meld beautifully with the traditional architecture and stonework of the region, while offering all modern facilities and integrating environmentally friendly systems. Each studio has its own terrace in the garden or its own balcony. Most enjoy beautiful views of the superb sunsets over the sea to the west. Only one, Levantes, looks eastward with a lovely view of the tranquil village church and its courtyard.
