B&B on 8th Avenue - Guinea Fowl Room

B&B on 8th Avenue is modern and comfortable. It is suitable for people who are holidaying or else here for business as it is close to the business centres and also tourists attractions. Enjoy good hearty breakfasts and a relaxing stay in Melville.

The bed and breakfast consists of 5 double rooms with en suite bathrooms with a shower. Breakfast consists of fresh fruit salad, various cereals, different yoghurts, fruit juice, various breads, croissants, buns, cheese and bacon, eggs, beef sausages, fried tomatoes and mushrooms. Breakfast is an extra cost of R100 per breakfast.
The bathroom contains a shower. It also has a separate entrance and small courtyard. Each room has its own TV and balcony/courtyard, a dining room where breakfast is served and a patio area in the garden. There is parking available, internet and cable TV.
There is a washer and dryer available at an extra cost of R100 per washing load.
The house is close to the CBD, tourist attractions like Rosebank, Sandton, Apartheid Museum, Constitution Hill, hospitals, banks, universities and shopping areas.
Melville is a vibey suburb with lots of attractions like coffee shops, restaurants, bars, bookshops and a variety of other shops. The Melville Koppies is a well-known protected open space good for walks and getting a lovely view of the CBD skyline and surrounding areas.

Guests have access to the main dining room where breakfast is served and guests are welcome to sit and work in the area or else use the lounge for work or relaxation. Guest also have access to a communal kitchenette area where tea, coffee and baked items are available. There is comfortable seating area next to the kitchenette where guests can relax or else work. The garden is available for guests to sit and relax in.

You will find me to be an attentive host and willing to assist you. I am a registered tour guide with Gauteng Tourism and also operate a licenced shuttle service to assist guests with transport if required. This service is cheaper than what public taxis charge. I will gladly assist and advise in order to make your stay enjoyable.

The bed and breakfast is situated in a cul-de-sac so is quiet but close to 7th Street, Melville where most of the shops are. When convenient, I do offer a free drop off for guests in 7th Street, Melville.

Check out is 10am in the morning but if you need a late checkout please note that 50% of the rate will be charged until 3pm. If later than 6pm the full rate will be charged.
