Great place to relax on the deck couch and watch the beautiful fjord or catch the hourly bus into Trondheim (do not miss the magnificent medieval cathedral). Cozy, well equipped cabin was perfect for the two of us. Sofa bed was comfortable - at 73 and 68 years old the loft would have been too much (though a couple of our grandchildren would have loved it). Michael is a good host - attending to us when needed but not interrupting our peaceful seclusion. Highly recommended.
Michael is a great host, very friendly and responsive. Both check-in and out were easy. The apartment is really a stand-alone "tiny house" on a hilly side of the fjord. The view of the fjord from the deck is fantastic. You have to park on the road above and follow a somewhat steep wooded path to the house. The overall size of the place was a little tight for a family of four (2 adults, 2 kids). The loft, accessible via ladder, has a double bed for 2 people and a twin bed for 1 person. The ceiling in the loft is only about 1 meter / 3 feet high, so you have to crawl around up there. The couch on the main level opens up for the 4th person. The house and bathroom are clean and tidy and are fully stocked with plates, cups, towels, etc. Overall a fun stay!
The cabin was very cozy and completely modern. The floor is heated, the lofted beds are very comfortable, and view could not be better. The nearby bus stop makes it convenient to get downtown and enjoy the city environment. And a plus, we got to see the Northern lights, something you can't see from downtown!
The cabin was a very nice place to be. It's perfect for 2 people - tiny, but cozy with everything you need. The kitchen was well equipped and clean. We also liked the location 10 min away from Trondheim and directly by the fjord. Micheal is a very nice and helpful landlord. If there is anything to object a bit, is that we had a jacuzzi directly in front of us but we're not allowed to use it, because it belongs to the guest house next door. Better if we wouldn't have seen it.
Eventuelly, we had a great time and would stay again.
We really enjoyed our stay at Michael's quiet and secluded cabin. Facing the fjord and with a forest and mountains as a "backyard", this cozy retreat is ideal to recharge your batteries and to do some nice hiking trips.
Although we didn't get to know Michael, he was always online making sure everything was okay.
Would definitely stay there again!
