In the evening you can enjoy a view of the northern lights from the living room.
The accommodation has walking distance to several restaurants/patios such as Maren Anna, Havet and Holmen, as well as grocery stores such as Joker, Matkroken and the interior store The store on the quay. It is also walking distance to hiking such as Tindstind, Munkebu, Sørvågvannet, Munkan and Hermannsdalstind.
Reine and Reinebringen are about 5 minutes away by car, the same with the ferry going to Bodø, Værøy and Røst. If you drive about 5 min in the other direction, you will find the fishing village Å with, among other things, the dry fish museum, restaurant and bakery. Here you can buy the famous cinnamon verse from the Bakery on Å.
If you want to get away from the biggest tourist crowds at Reine, Sørvågen is a fantastic starting point for enjoying a quiet setting and experiencing the best of Vest-Lofoten. From here it is a half hour drive to the popular hike Ryten and Kvalvikstranda, as well as Rambergstranda and Flakstadstranda for surfing. The same goes for Nusfjord, which is one of Norway's oldest and best preserved fishing village. If you drive to Reine, you can take a boat to walk to Bunesstranda and Helvetstind. You can also join us on a fishing trip, rib tour, rent a DRINK, kayak to name a few.
There are also several restaurants in the area such as Anitas Seafood, Gadus, the House of Commons, Gammelbua and Tapperiet (bistro and pub)
There can be demanding conditions up the road to the house at winter time. In the worst case, you have to park downstairs (about 30 meters from the house).
Note: It is not recommended to walk the Reinebringen in the winter.
If the checkout protocols are not met, or if the place is not left in the condition in which the guest arrived at the accommodation - there will be an additional fee of a minimum of NOK 500.
