Stay comfortably in Myrtle Beach at this marvelous studio. The cozy space features a king bed, AC, WiFi, and access to a fitness room with a beautiful ocean view. Perfect for solo travelers or couples looking for a relaxing getaway. Our place is equipped for both long and/or short stays.
Pool ,hot tub, lazy river and restaurant were closed the entire time. That took a lot of fun away from my vacation!Room itself and staff were very friendly.
The complex needs updating desperately, but the room is clean. Bed was very comfortable and of course the view is great. Check-in was easy and the staff super-friendly. We will likely book again.
The only problem we had was both pools were closed. They shouldâve made a note of that online. I was expecting to be able to use an outdoor and indoor pool. Everything else was fine with our stay
Please note, this property requires that you check in at the front desk however the VRBO system does not communicate with their computer system so there will be no record of the reservation when you arrive. The property owner did not respond to numerous messages sent over 5 weeks time frame. If you book this property call VRBO customer support and have them call the property before you arrive. The room is decent, there are no pots, pans, plates, utensils or soap. There are linens and towels. The door to the balcony does not lock. The property itself is very run down and the amenities are not open (pool, restaurant and bar). There is free covered parking. Overall the staff was the best part of the stay. There is a direct view of the ocean. Thereâs a reason that this property is low priced.
The room was incredibly dirty with the exception of the bed and the bathtub. You have to request dishes at check-in or you risk not being able to get any. The couch appeared as though someone had a terrible accident. The place didnât have any extra blankets, so we covered it with a sheet. The view was amazing and we heard no noise from others staying at the resort. If the room was clean and stocked, it would be much better, oh and a new couch would be good. It did have a little coffee maker, a toaster, a microwave, and a small stove that took FOREVER to cook anything. You get what you pay for and I donât regret it, but definitely bring your own cleaning supplies.
We got in late.... a line of people were waiting to check in. Took over an hour. Other than that the room was clean. Kitchenette had no dishes in it... so be prepared to bring dishes and things to cook with. Also not any blankets provided for the murphy bed.... beautiful views .... nice little grilling area charcoal grill..we had a good time...
This property is not managed well at all. The hallways and elevators were dirty, the grassy area outside had trash and the pool was not in service on 4th of July weekend. No one cleaned up the property at all. All the trash from Thursday and Friday was still there when we left on Sunday. The onsite restaurant was also closed. However, for the price, the room was what was expected. Nothing nice, but it was not carpet and was fairly clean. We did not feel disgusted and there were no bugs. The refrigerator was clean as was the microwave, but there was no stove as pictured in the listing. The bathroom was also clean. The property is pet friendly so that is a positive for us and it is Ocean Front with a balcony and easy beach access. There are some places to eat but mostly we had to drive to get to more popular restaurants and attractions. They do use a generic photo and what is pictured is not necessarily the room you get.
Arrived in MB expecting a door code and unit number in my email. Nothing, not even instructions on how to check in. Went to resort, clerk on duty was nice but seemed a little lost on what to do. A phone call was made and after about 10 mins I was given the door code and the unit number (903) on a post it note. The condo was what I expected. Small kitchenette with frig, mini-stove, sink, microwave, coffee maker and toaster. Bed was comfortable, couch was not. Had to purchase a blanket, couldnât get the heat to come on. No use in calling anyone, no one called me back about the frig that wasnât working. I eventually unplugged the frig from the scary looking exposed outlet and plugged it in behind the sink. And I used the oven to heat the place up. Towels were provided. The resort itself was not very inviting, Sandcastle South. Sandcastle North is being renovated so maybe SS is next. I appreciated the parking garage and the elevators. The view was great and overall the price couldnât be beat and I wasnât charged any exorbitant pet or cleaning fees. Get a comfy couch and Iâd stay here again.
Indoor pool was out of order, hot tub was out of order, studio apartment did not have cups or mugs or dishes. Door between hotel rooms did not lock and was blocked with a sofa, check in took over an hour at the counter even though I arrived at 6p (3 hours later than check in time). EXCELLENT CLOSE PROXIMITY TO BEACH.
