Petit appartement dans un quartier calme à côté de la vallée de Laugardalur, à 30 min. distance de marche du centre-ville de Reykjavík. Récemment restauré avec de nouveaux meubles et meubles de qualité. Comprend une machine à laver, un sèche-linge, une machine à expresso, un système de son et un wifi gratuit. Veuillez noter que le plafond est un peu bas (215 cm).

Great place to stay

A welcoming note and atmosphere. A perfect little apartment in this home, with comfortable bedding, shower, kitchen, good WiFi, TV, washer/dryer. We felt comfortable and safe in the home and the neighborhood. Parking on the street was easy. This was a great place to stay during our time exploring Reykjavík. There were many nice renovations. A well cared for property.

Clean, welcoming, affordable.The couple that owned the vrbo were very friendly and accomadating. The location is about 15min from almost everywhere in reykjavik.

Sublime suburbia

This is the perfect little basement appartment. I actually found it to be a little bit bigger than the the pictures show. Its got everything you need to start your stay in iceland. From street parking (which is a really big bonus in this city!), to cooking utensils, to easy access to the ring road, this place is a great place to start your ring road trip! Or if you don't have time for that, this is a great landing pad to explorer the whole capital area without worrying about changing locations. If we come back to Iceland we will definitely try to book this place again!

We found the space to have everything we needed, and the beds were very comfortable. We were able to cook to save some money on food, and it was great to have a safe space of our own for a few days!

Great place

We enjoyed our two night stay! Everything was great, the bed was comfy. Quick to get anywhere in the city. There was also the bonus of the washer and dryer which we used before our flights home.

Cozy Reykjavik Apartment

Great property just minutes from and easy drive to downtown Reykjavik. Apartment had every thing we needed for week long stay. Host was very accommodating and very reachable for a couple of questions we had. Would definitely stay again.

Peaceful neighborhood, restful stay!

We really enjoyed our time at this apartment. The neighborhood was quiet and walkable, but it was easy to get to the city center and other places we wanted to go by car. Asty was very kind, helpful, and welcoming. It was a great place from which to enjoy our first time in Iceland!

Comfortable, Stylish, Wonderful

We had an amazing stay. The space is very well decorated and the choice in design is intentional and modern yet cozy. You can tell that the hosts have put a lot of care into the space. The bed is very comfortable. The hosts let us check in early - we’re grateful for this courtesy as we were incredibly tired from our flight! The guest guide was very helpful and we appreciated the suggestions for restaurants and general city information.

Could not ask for more!

This spot is honestly perfect, especially if you have a rental car (which we did). You have plenty of space, a comfortable bed, a nice bathroom, and a kitchen with every cooking utensil you’d want. Location is great with the easy 5-minute drive to downtown, a cheap gas station a block away, and the Bónus supermarket 3 minutes down the road. The neighborhood is quiet though, which makes getting a good night’s rest very easy. En-suite laundry is so clutch as it made packing light much easier. And all for such a reasonable price! Host’s instruction booklet had great amount of helpful info for the apartment as well as the local area. We would stay here again in a heartbeat.

very spacious apartment in quiet neighborhood near downtown

What a great place! Very close to city center but far enough to be quiet and less expensive. The apartment was bigger than I expected with plenty of room for two people. The hosts were great!

A lovely apartment tucked away from the busy down town area the atmosphere was great Asti a perfect host .Best if you have a car to get around the apartment was nice and cosy. Great place, especially if doing more than Reykjavik

Clean, easy to get to, free parking, plenty of space. Very happy with our short stay. Easy access both to and out of Reykjavik. If you have a car and want to do things in both Reykjavik and outside Reykjavik, this is an excellent choice. I was also kindly notified that we left the fog lights on for our car, which kept us from waking up to a dead car when we needed to get to the airport! Thanks!

This was a great place to stay! Asti communicated quickly. We loved having a washer and dryer especially since our luggage was lost by the airlines. With our rental car it was a quick 10 - 15 minute drive to the harbor. We highly recommend staying here.

A comfy and quiet place in town.

We'd been to Iceland before and were just staying for a couple days before we flew on to Glasgow. This was a perfect place for us. Easy parking and we loved walking through the nearby botanic garden (and the wonderful cafe) on our first day. Definitely recommend to other travellers.

Great apartment!

I had a fantastic stay stay at this quaint apartment. The kitchen and bathroom are both modern and updated... and it includes laundry! Location is great for venturing around the city; and even better for transport to and from the airport. Atsy, the host, and her family and friendly, helpful and are there for any questions. Would definitely stay again!!

Perfect Accommodations!!!

My friend and I absolutely loved this listing. It was perfect space for us two and location from the city. The host were super accommodating and it made our trip so much better. Less than 10 mins from city center, we were able to go back and forth with ease. We loved the in unit laundry! 10/10 recommend for 2 people!!

I grew up in the suburbs of Reykjavík but have also lived in Spain, Portugal and Los Angeles.
What I miss the most when I leave Iceland is the hot and cold water, the contrast between winter darkness and sunlight in the summer and our extraordinary nature. Therefore I strongly recommend that our guests try the geothermal swimming pool at Laugardalur and late night walks in the botanical park in Laugardalur valley in the summer time.

Ásvegur 16 is one of the charming old houses of Reykjavík (built in 1947). It used to be divided into three apartments, housing three families back in the day. It has been renovated on the inside and the outside renovation is planned for autumn 2024.

The apartment has been restored to be as luxurious as possible. It has natural stone flooring, comfy bed, quality furniture and furnishings. It offers a washing machine, dryer and a large TV.
