Bienvenue à Playa Azul 3 notre maison loin de chez vous! Ce penthouse avec vue sur la mer, décoré avec modestie, est situé à quelques pas de la plage de Luquillo, dans une communauté fermée 24h / 24. Les vues sur l'océan sont visibles depuis toutes les fenêtres! Supermarché dans la rue pour votre commodité. Les installations incluent une piscine (actuellement fermée), un court de tennis (actuellement fermé), un terrain de padel, un terrain de basket-ball et une salle communautaire pouvant accueillir les services du dimanche, si vous êtes intéressé. S'il vous plaît noter qu'il n'y a pas de WiFi à cet endroit et pas de location mensuelle. Venez dans les Caraïbes et profitez-en!

A slice of heaven

A tiny slice of heaven right on the beach. Perfect location for our family holiday. The pool, basketball and tennis courts we my kids favorite. I loved drinking coffee watching the sun rise. Will definitely recommend

Senior Trip Puerto Rico

We had a wonderful stay! Our view was gorgeous and our hosts Miriam and her husband were the most helpful with everything from recommendations on restaurants to excursions-the nicest people!!!If we go back to Puerto Rico would definitely stay there again!!!

Excellent communication

Miriam was so easy to work with! When the power went out in PR she was very communicative and thoughtful. Her condo is in a great location if you’re planning to explore. 10 minutes to El Yunque, 45 minutes into Old San Juan. Lots of great restaurants down the street and 15 mins from Ceiba ferry.

This was a perfect location to all the activities and more that we had planned for our vacation. The actual space was perfect for cooking in and eating out...all the amenities of home, clean and tidy. Miriam was incredibly kind, responsive and informative.

Great location!

I love this side of the island. Luquillo Beach is my favorite and this was central to other hot tourists sites like El Yunque, Old San Juan and more. The host was very easy to get a hold of, helpful and responsive. Would stay again.

Winter Escape

We had a lovely relaxing vacation from winter at the beautiful Playa Azul!l penthouse apartment! The accommodation had everything we needed to enjoy all the amenities and views of Playa Azul. We got plenty of exercise on our daily walks along the beautiful beaches of Luquillo. Host were quick to respond and to assist with all our needs. I look forward to another winter break!

Great location

You can't beat this location for all the good things Puerto Rico has to offer. We enyoyed the beaches, rain forest and a day trip to Culebra. Two days were spent exploring Old San Juan's history and cuisine. This penthouse condo is not fancy, but has plenty of space and all the conveniences, except wifi. We particularly liked the balcony view from the of the ocean in one direction and the rain forest in the other. We'd choose this condo again.

Really is a home away from home

The place was so close to the beach and pool both accessible until 7 pm from a private gate. The apartment was so warm and welcoming. The sunrise and sunset were a thing of beauty right from your balcony. Every town was pretty accessible from we were. The amount of beauty and nature that surround you daily is truly amazing. My host was wonderful, great communication. Hopefully do this again soon

Such a lovely place!

I couldn't have asked for a better location to stay for my first visit to the island in 47 years! The layout of the place was as advertised. The sweeping views from the penthouse were gorgeous, the place was clean and well-maintained although some of the appliances need to be replaced. Regardless, it's a minor inconvenience as I wouldn't hesitate to recommend this place as I plan to return next year and I plan to stay at this location once again!

Perfect Location

This condo was a perfect location for us. We stayed two weeks and didn't have a car. Everything we wanted was within walking distance: grocery, drug store, American fast food, and Puerto Rican restaurants. Every day we spent time at the beach...sand and palm trees. We ate on the balcony and watched the waves. The condo is well stocked with beach gear. Miriam was the perfect host, although we didn't need anything! We certainly hope to return. Thank you, Miriam!

Wonderful condo for our family of three.

We stayed at the condo for 5 nights during Christmas. The condo was wonderful to come back to after spending the days out exploring. It is cleaned, organized and very well equipped. Miriam was quick to respond to any questions that I had before and during the stay. The condo is gated and secured. The location is excellent and on our most favorite beach, Luquillo. We fell in love with Puerto Rico, its culture, history, and especially…the people. Everyone we met is so friendly and kind. The food is also an absolute hit! Puerto Rico has a place in our hearts. We are already planning to come back and would not hesitate to rent Miriam’s condo again. Thank you again for everything.

Condo at Playa Azul III in Luquillo

I just got back from staying at this beautiful condo in Luquillo owned by Mrs. Otero, and words don't do justice to this place. It is awesome, I am already thinking of rebooking. Its the perfect just like home, everything is close by in regards to food, supermarket, walgreens, walmart. The condo was very spacious and we are a family of 4 with one guest, Miriam made sure everything was provided. I had no issues, everyone was friendly and everything is close. The beach is only a couple of feet away as well as the pool and it is nice and quiet. The view from the Penthouse is magnificent. Great Stay. Thank you Miriam for sharing your beautiful condo with us and we hope we can come visit and stay another time. Mrs. M. Alvarado

It never gets old...

After a long absence of 47 years, I went back to Puerto Rico last year. I got to stay in this wonderful condo and had a great time with my family. I figured, this can't get any better. Well, I was wrong. I went back to this condo this year and it was exponentially better! New appliances and an awesome dining room table greeted me. Needless to say, I had a great time, yet again. The sweeping views of the island, the amenities and the nearby restaurants have me making this a yearly sojourn. If anyone is thinking of going out to Puerto Rico, make it a point of staying at this condo. You cannot go wrong.

Beautiful View

You won't regret booking this penthouse. Everything you need to feel at home is here. It was so nice to have brand new bathrooms and a brand new kitchen during our stay. My family has stayed here many times and we will keep coming back any time we are in Luquillo. I am a stickler for cleanliness and this place never disappoints in that category. We always travel with our 11 year old son and he loves bird watching, the pool, the access to the beach, the basketball and tennis courts, and everything else that they have to do here. You don't even need to leave the grounds to have a vacation in itself. I also love the added security at the front locked gate and front desk of the building. The view from the penthouse is indescribable, every time we come back it seems like it gets better each time. My most favorite place on the property is the balcony. I love sitting there having coffee or a meal while enjoying the view of the beach or the mountains while listening to the waves!! The sunset is always beautiful, too. I can't wait to book this place again for our next vacation!

A Wonderful Lady and a Wonderful Apartment

Miriam is a god send. I stayed for my honeymoon and not only did she take my reservation but she split the payment for me which was probably outside her comfort zone, not having done it before. If I really wanted I could write some super critical review with little annoyances which in the end don't matter. What's important is that Miriam is a great person which manages a great property which she kindly lets us use, and you should. After the series of earthquakes Miriam personally tried contacting me to see if my family and I where ok... It nearly brought me to tears. I am so grateful to have stayed at her place and make my honeymoon a truly memorable occasion. Viva Miriam y viva las Boricua de Puerto Rico. Weeeepaaa.

No power/water

While the owner was friendly and understanding and offered a partial refund the first night hoping power would return, we were unable to stay at the property for the duration of our trip to PR and had to make alternate arrangements. We have a 17month old and didn't have the luxury of waiting to see if power/water would return. The property mgmt also didn't seem to communicate with the owner when power did return on Sunday or throughout process. At this point, as we left the property Thursday morning we don't feel the owner should make profit on this trip given we weren't able to stay there. We're happy to cover cleaning/re rental costs but a further refund should've been offered. Also have ur cleaning team check ur air-conditioners filters and fans from time to time, they were covered in an inch of dirt/dust - we cleaned them for you upon check in.

Large property right outside the rain forest with nice view

Easy to get to the complex, staff at the gate are extremely nice and helpful and plenty of parking. Only about a half hour from the airport, and nicely outside of San Juan, yet very easy to get back to for activities. The penthouse has a very large living room/dining area, and large lanai to view the ocean and beach. It is right off the 4 lane highway, so very convenient, but you can hear traffic on the lanai, but not terribly loud. It's a trade-off for the convenience. The property has basically everything you need, so you can even do light cooking and save some money. It is not updated, but has all the necessities and is clean! It would be nice if the bathroom had an outlet, but I blew dry my hair in the living room in front of the big mirror, so all was good. Lots of stores and touristy shopping very close, and of course, the property is truly across the street from the property so great convenience. We enjoyed going to the beach at night when their were fewer people. And there were even beach chairs and a few beach items to use. Meriam is absolutely wonderful! She is so friendly and helps out in any way she can. I told her we were on a budget and asked what activities she thought were truly worth the money the most, and she even sent a print out of free activities on the island to us! She was also very organized which was great! I would definitely stay again if we were to vacation there again!

Perfect in every way

Miriam's home is wonderful and she was so responsive and communication. The air conditioned, two bedroom apartment is equipped with everything you need. Beds were comfortable, bathrooms were modern with great water pressure, kitchen had a dishwasher (which we did not use) and washer/dryer (which we did use), dining room table was beautiful and great for eating as well as evening card games, living room had a wonderful roomy sofa for end of day relaxing, and a big TV. We spent most of our apartment time on the balcony, which has spectacular views and seating for six. The kitchen had all the things you need for cooking and dining and Miriam also provided cooking staples. There are, boogie boards, beach chairs and towels, beach umbrella, noodles, and some sand toys are also provided. The building is safe with full time front desk personnel and is extremely well maintained. The property recreational area includes a large pool and kiddie pool, large and small basketball courts, hand ball court, tennis court (not currently open), and multiple swing and seesaw sets. There was also an indoor game room that we did not enter that appeared to have ping pong and maybe a pool table. The beach is five feet from the property gate and is fabulous and very clean. It always had people on it but it was never crowded. The building complex is very convenient to Amigo supermarket, the Plaza bakery, and a great casual restaurant named La Fonda serving authentic Puerto Rican food - all within walking distance. My friend and I were also very impressed with Puerto Rico's high level of commitment to safety regarding COVID, including airport protocols, daily texts for COVID symptom monitoring, vaccination cards and masks for indoor dining, and masks for most other indoor activities. Most people wore masks inside the building and some also wore them on the beach while walking to their spot. We will definitely be back!

EXCEEDED MY EXPECTATIONS

We have vacationed in these condos every spring break for the past four years but this was our first year in this particular penthouse and my only regret is that we didn't find this sooner. We aren't exactly into resorts and staying in areas that are very 'touristy' and this place was exactly what we were looking for. First, the owner has been beyond accommodating from beginning to end. Answered all questions promptly and reached out a few times just to offer kind words or just to remind us to contact her if anything more was needed. The employees at the facility from the gate guards, the front desk to the janitors were always offering a smile and a 'good morning' and helped whenever we needed. Even quite a few of the tenants stopped just to converse and ask how we were enjoying our stay. The place itself offered a great amount of space (there were three of us) and everything that we needed was there. I don't like checking bags so I only packed enough for half of our stay since they had a washer/dryer and everything we needed for laundry was there (even stuff for sensitive skin). There was an a/c and each room and they got COLD even though we didn't have it set too low. When we needed a break from the ocean, the convenience of the pool, basketball court, tennis court and ping pong table was a god-send. And yes, this rental had ping pong balls and a basketball available on their balcony along with beach gear! The proximity of the grocery stores, restaurants and bank is probably the most convenient (between one-five minutes away). And one particular day we were too exhausted from excursions to go to a restaurant so we just grabbed some fast food and came back and played cards and dominoes and read books. All of which were there. There was a Walgreens and a grocery store directly across the street and a Wal-mart about 15 minutes further. In the neighborhood we ate at Pasta Y Pueble, Boardriders and Brass Cactus but a little further away we ate at Calizo in Fajardo and Terruno in the Luquillo kiosks. I quite literally have no complaints about any of these restaurants. I was prepared to list this as a MUST for our next spring break but my husband just announced that he wants to come back again sometime this summer...we shall see. Anyway, I know that you can probably get the majority of these amenities at various other places but for the price and hospitality, I am not so sure and that is why this rental really stood out for us.

This location is ideal! It's steps to the beach, 24 hour security, It is 5 minutes from the great food at the Kiosks, 15 minutes from the rain forest (El Yunque), and 20 minutes from Fajardo where you can enjoy fine dining and shopping, 40 minutes form Old San Juan with its historical sights and plenty of wine, dine and shopping. Also, near to Kayaking, jet skiing, zip lining and horseback riding.
