This one bed / one bath great value self catering apartment, suitable for 2 guests, forms part of the newly constructed South Sea House. It is located in a quiet cul de sac road in the upscale area of South Hills, Cap Estate.
The apartment enjoys seclusion with a private balcony w/ plunge pool and private parking. The balcony enjoys cooling breezes with beautiful views across to the ocean and golf course. The property is very secure with an automatic gated entry and is fully fenced.
The apartment boasts a light, bright open plan living area with a fully fitted kitchen complete with granite worktops, stove, fridge, blender, dining table, washing machine, Smart TV (32' ) with Amazon Firestick (accounts for Netflix and Disney + are included). Free wireless fibre internet.
The air conditioned bedroom with Queen sized bed has a high spec ensuite bathroom.
In addition to the private apartment with its' own balcony and plunge pool, there is a beautiful infinity edge pool on the property available for guest use.
We live on the property so are always around to assist guests if needed. We will meet guests on arrival and show them around the apartment and property.
The property is located in Cap Estate, an upscale and popular area for vacation rentals, and has beautiful sweeping views over the golf course and Atlantic Ocean. The wonderful quiet location benefits from cooling ocean breezes. Pigeon Island beach is 1 mile away and Cas En Bas beach (Cotton Bay beach) is less than a mile. This vast, unspoilt stretch of sandy beach is popular with wind and kite surfers. The Cap Estate Golf and Country Club with its 18 hole championship golf course is only 5 mins drive away.
All the best restaurants, bars and nightlife in Rodney Bay are 5-10 mins drive away as are other beautiful beaches - Pigeon Island, Smugglers Cove and Reduit beach. The newly renovated Rodney Bay Marina, with its restaurants, shops, boat hire and coastal tours is only 5 mins drive away.
Car hire is recommended or use of taxis. There is a beach less than a mile away within walking distance.
The property is fenced with an automatic gate; dual power sockets (USA & UK) are fitted throughout the apartment, so power adaptors are not needed; a local prepaid cellphone is supplied for guests to make local calls; airport pick up can be arranged; baby sitting service can be arranged. Housekeeping is provided on a weekly basis.

Beautiful property
We stayed in the 1-bedroom which was very nicely decorated and comfortable. The owners were attentive and responded quickly when we had an issue with the shower. They corrected the problem right away. Would definitely recommend this home / location / owner.

Very nice and serene!
Very nicely furnished apartment with access to pool at back if you don’t feel like walking to the beach. One bed apartments just right for me as I was travelling alone. Would advise hiring a car for flexibility as there are not a lot of places you can walk to from here and you can’t always get taxis straight away. But none of that took away from what was a pleasant stay.

South Sea House was a perfect little spot!
I travel to St. Lucia a few times a year. I always stay in Cap Estate in a villa or at Cap Maison. I was looking for something affordable this trip, but still up to the standards I am use to. SOUTH SEA HOUSE gave me everything I needed! Hosts Karen and Jerome couldn’t be nicer or more accommodating. Although I didn’t spend much time in the apartment, it had everything you need. Well stocked kitchen, washing machine, great AC in the bedroom. The whole apartment looked practically brand new. My favorite part (when I was there) was sitting on the balcony, watching the rainbows form in the sky, while the breeze kept me cool (and mosquito free). The main pool is lovely for a dip/swim and offers nice views of the hills of Cap estate. I stayed in the 1 bedroom which is perfect for 1/2 people. There were guests below me that I thought I might hear (bring it an apartment), but never heard them.
I HIGHLY recommend this wonderful find!!

Bonne location.
L'appartement est bien situé. A 10 minutes de Rodney bay 20 de Castries. Le proprio habite à l'étage et est à l'écoute. Tout est soigné à linterieur. Seul bémol l'eau de la piscine et du jacuzzi est glacée impossible de s'y baigner. Sinon avec ma femme et mon fils on a passé un excellent séjour.

Beautiful place to stay! Everything you need is here from the tupper wear to the washing machine
It’s tranquillity at its best it’s so peaceful and you have a great view of the Atlantic Ocean spacious clean and truly a home away from home! A cell phone is provided a little blue tooth speaker cable TV if you like to watch is great nice big fridge and microwave... I love it here and will definitely will be staying here again... The views are magnificent and if you love to walk there’s some great little trails around and cassava beach is a literally maybe a half hour walk and the ramp beach is a 5 mile walk but if you don’t like to walk there’s always a rental or a taxi!

Enjoyed mornings on the porch and found easy to get to town. We rented car. Grocery store is close by along with several beaches that are beautiful to spend the day. We felt right at home and enjoyed our vacation!

My new favorite place to stay!
I travel to St. Lucia a couple times a year and usually stay in Rodney Bay. This year, I spent 5 weeks at Karen and Jerome's South Sea House Apartment 2 and absolutely fell in love with it. The location is quiet, with beautiful views, but close enough to all the entertainment, beaches and shopping. Having a rental car is definitely recommended. The apartment is beautifully decorated, has everything you need to cook, a large shower, washing machine and large drying rack. The bedroom has AC but I rarely used it since the apartment gets wonderful breezes and stays cool. The private plunge pool on the balcony is also a huge bonus after a long day in the hot sun. I will definitely stay here again! Thank you Karen and Jerome for a fantastic stay!

Great vacation
We have stayed Karen and Jerome several times. The apartment is beautiful with a great view of the golf course and the sea. The apartment comes complete with anything you should need. If you need anything Karen and Jerome are there to help. The apartment also has a cell phone, washing machine and the use of the pool.
The apartment is close to many beaches and restaurants. There is always taxi service but having a car for your convenience is a plus.

Best Value in St Lucia
My wife and I highly recommend the South Sea House. It can be a little difficult finding the place but once you get your bearings, its perfectly located almost everything you need in St Lucia. We hopped in the rental car and saw a new part of the island everyday. Its also close to a lot fine and casual dinning options as well.
Jerome and Karen are great hosts and the apartment is perfect for 2 people looking to get away from it all. Very relaxing and a great breeze constant throughout the morning and evening. We went grocery shopping and made breakfast every morning and sat out on the balcony and took in the wonders that is St Lucia. We also had a handful of adult beverages on that same balcony at night.
The apartment had everything we needed as well. Wifi was decent and cable tv was on in the background. It also had everything we needed to cook if need be. The bed was a little firm, shower took a couple minutes to warm up but how picky can you be.
Jerome and his co-captain Glen also took us out for a day on his boat for a private tour while there for a small fee.
It was definitely the most bang for the buck and we encourage both long and short term renters to consider the South Sea House.

As you mention we are very well located for exploring the island, with several beaches and good restaurants close by. We pride ourselves on providing good quality accommodation at a reasonable price. Regarding the shower, our hot water is heated by solar power with the water tank located on the roof. It can therefore take a couple of minutes to run down. We also have an electrical back up heater, on the rare occasions when we have no sun for a couple of days! We hope you will choose to visit again!

Beautiful and a place to enjoy the St Lucian life without any fuss...just perfect!
The apartment that we stayed in was presented to a high standard with attention to the smallest detail. Everything that you needed was provided and it felt like home to home. Jerome (the host) was a star and made us feel so welcome and was always on hand if we needed him. Overall, a great experience and I would definitely recommend this as a place to stay...thank you for making our holiday a dream!

Great property, great owners!
The dwelling is away from all the hustle and bustle, but it is still within 5 minutes drive of most of the nice areas and spots. The apartment is beautiful and the owner was super cool! I would definitely recommend!

Great Place
This is a very nice apartment. Very clean and well-maintained. The pictures are accurate and show the apartment and shared pool correctly. Karen and her husband Gerome are fantastic hosts. They were great at meeting little needs that we had and very helpful in every way. It would be a 5 star review except for one major item - the couch. It is very small and very uncomfortable. If you are there for a longer stay and want to relax in the evenings, lounging on this couch feels like laying on the floor.

Perfect base in st Lucia
The apartment is just as pictured, actually even better! I'm very fussy with beds and cleanliness and I was very comfortable here. You will need to hire a car however if you stay here but I would recommend hiring a car in st Lucia anyway if you want to see all the sights. The closet beaches are reduit and pigeon island, both have parking. Karen and Jerome are great hosts. Only given 4 stars because we had to ask for a couple of things but we got a quick response and things were done promptly.

In addition to Reduit Beach and Pigeon Island beaches, the closest is actually Cas en Bas. You can even see the kite surfers from the balconies of the apartments! Smugglers Beach is another of our favourites by the Cap Maison hotel (less than 5 minutes away). We always endeavour to carry out any guest requests in a timely manner. Great property, great hosts.
St. Lucia is great. My favorite Carribean spot so far. This is a great property, completely as advertised. A short drive (or long walk) from Rodney Bay and Reduit Beach to the west, or Cas en Bas & Plantation Beach to the east. Karen and Jerome are great hosts, and even had a couple cold beers waiting for us. We had a flat tire and Jerome lent us a pump. Really good people. Also, talk to Jerome about chartering a day on his boat. It was the highlight of our trip.
One minor criticism... if you are into super-soft and comfy furniture, then you will find the chairs and sofa a little spartan.
Otherwise, you will find this to be a great launching pad to go and explore St. Lucia. Well equipped kitchen. A/C in the bedroom is quiet and effective. Just a wonderful place.
Tip: you will want a car rental. We suggest Drive-A-Matic. (on Jerome's advice. We used SixT, who ran out of cars and sent us to Guys. Both were very disappointing.)

It really is as good as it looks!
We stayed once again with Karen and Jerome but this year in apartment 2. This is as well appointed as the others and has every kitchen appliance that you could need. The washing machine is a bonus for keeping beachwear clean! The once a week maid service was also much appreciated. The plunge pool provided the opportunity for a refreshing dip and the view is amazing. We used the family pool frequently - the sun loungers are a great addition and it is a lovely are in which to relax. The drive to Rodney Bay is about 5 minutes where there are numerous bars, restaurants and the supermarket. Karen and Jerome are amazing hosts - on site if you need any advice and the local mobile phone that they provide gives you extra reassurance when out and about. The small touched that they provide (from Pitons in the fridge on arrival to fresh flowers) make you feel really welcome. I cannot recommend this rental highly enough - you would be hard pushed to find anything equivalent for this price. Cant's wait for next year!

Wonderful location for a relaxed holiday
We stayed at Karen and Jerome's other property a couple of years ago, so this was a natural choice when returning to St Lucia.
Apartment as described, clean and well maintained. Well equipped. Good customer service provided. Location is quiet with views out to Cas en Bas Bay. Spectacular sunrises (jet lag woke us early) can be photographed from apartment balcony.
Recommend following restaurants - La Terrase, Froggie Jacques, Spice of India, Blue Olive all in Rodney Bay. Pink Plantation House at Castries. Key Largo for good pizza in Rodney Bay.
Beach between Pigeon Island and Sandals busier than last time we visited but umbrellas and sun loungers available to rent. Good location for sunsets.
Eastern beaches on the island all affected by seaweed (more than last time we were here) but that may be transitory.

You are correct the seaweed on the east coast beaches has been worse than previous years, but it is already much improved than a few months ago. We stayed at Karen and Jerome's other property a couple of years ago, so this was a natural choice when returning to St Lucia.
Apartment as described, clean and well maintained. Well equipped. Good customer service provided. Location is quiet with views out to Cas en Bas Bay. Spectacular sunrises (jet lag woke us early) can be photographed from apartment balcony.
Recommend following restaurants - La Terrase, Froggie Jacques, Spice of India, Blue Olive all in Rodney Bay. Pink Plantation House at Castries. Key Largo for good pizza in Rodney Bay.
Beach between Pigeon Island and Sandals busier than last time we visited but umbrellas and sun loungers available to rent. Good location for sunsets.
Eastern beaches on the island all affected by seaweed (more than last time we were here) but that may be transitory.

Second stay - first time in this unit
I've had the great fortune to have stayed in all of the units now, and other than variance in size and number of bed/bathrooms, there is absolutely no difference in comfort! This unit is just a spacious, just a comfortable, just as beautiful as the others. I have found my new favourite place to stay and will be back often, regardless of which unit is available.
