The Space
Our Camps Bay villa, BonAzure, is set on the lower slops of Table Mountain, overlooking the sea. This 5-bedroomed home, accommodating a maximum of 10 adults, is spacious and comfortable with everything you need for a family holiday, or a holiday with a group of friends in beautiful Camps Bay. It is also suitable for those wanting a peaceful work from home space whilst enjoying splendid sea and mountain views, and the nearby beach, restaurants and shops.
After climbing several steps, you enter the main villa into a light and airy open plan kitchen, dining and lounge area. The kitchen contains a washing machine, dryer and dishwasher. There is an electric hob and oven, an air fryer and micro wave as well as ample eating and cooking equipment. The dining room has an eight seater table and chairs. A few steps lead down from the dining area to the main lounge, with comfy couches and a smart TV with Netflix access. Doors open out onto a large patio with eating (8 seater table) and cooking facilities (gas BBQ). You will also find on this floor a large bedroom, with ample cupboards and a small desk, leading onto the patio. A second bedroom contains two single beds. There is one full bathroom (shower and bath tub) and a guest loo(half bathroom).
The upper floor has two well-designed bedrooms with en-suite bathrooms containing bathtubs, showers and heated towel rails. The main bedroom has a smart TV, comfy chairs, and a private balcony-an ideal place for sunset watching or having breakfast for two. The second bedroom also contains a desk. There is an additional lounge, which could be used flexibly, as a work space, children's games room or even as an extra sleeping space (mattress can be provided). It has a smart TV with Netflix available. This room leads onto a balcony with amazing mountain and sea views. Perfect for sunset viewing!
Behind the house and up some more steps, you will find a separate cottage. This houses the fifth bedroom with queen bed, an en-suite bathroom, small lounge and kitchen equipped for two. It is suitable for one or two adults.
Outdoors there is a small pool situated in a private entertainment/play area, with loungers and seating. You have access to a pool flatlet for bathroom and other facilities such as a fridge and kitchen equipment.
Location
The villa is in an ideal location. It is a ten minute walk to the idyllic Camps Bay beach, shops and great restaurants. It is a short drive to the Table Mountain cable car; to Lions Head for climbing. and Signal Hill for sunset watching. The City Centre, V&A Waterfront, Sea Point Promenade, Bo-Kaap and other attractions are a short drive away. Should you not want to drive, there are taxi and hailing services as well as a public bus system (MyCity) that can be reached a short walk from the villa.

Steps
As the villa is situated on a hillside there are several steps to climb to reach the front door. Inside, there are steps leading to the upper floor. However, as one guest remarked," that's the price of the gorgeous view."
Cooling and heating
The three large bedrooms (two upstairs and one downstairs) and the dining room area have air conditioners. There are also two mobile coolers and several fans. Heaters (or air-cons) and blankets are available in winter.
Wi-Fi
Fast wi-fi is available throughout the villa and cottage.
Power
The villa has solar power and a battery back up system should there be a power outage. Planned outages occur from time to time in South Africa (known as load shedding). During an outage all facilities are available (but should not all be used at once, especially when no sun) except for the hob, oven and geyser. A microwave, air fryer and gas BBQ provide alternative cooking arrangements.
Water
The villa boasts its own mountain water, filtered and pumped into the property.
Infants and children
Infants and children are welcome. Children usually love the small pool, and appreciate the upper lounge where they can watch Netflix or play games whilst the adults watch or socialise in their own space.
For infants, two travel cots with bassinets, mattresses and sheets, as well as a portable feeding chair are available on request. However, note that adult supervision is recommended for young children due to the steps and open pool. A pool safety net is available.
Security
The villa has a comprehensive security system, including outside cameras and a link to a response service. You will have access to an app for activating and deactivating the system.
Garaging
There are three garages suitable for medium size cars. Large SUVs will park off street in front of the garages.
Housekeeping and garden services
A complementary cleaning service is available on three days a week. Times are to be arranged with the house manager. The pool and garden may need to be serviced whilst guests are in residence. The house manager will arrange a suitable time with guests.
