Book a relaxing wellness holiday in our spacious and light luxury lake view Villa Princess and relax by the romantic pool (south side) with heating at 28 to 34 degrees on a 1000 m2 property where you will find a groomed garden with tropical plants and you do not have to worry about noise from nearby neighbors. In a 3 minute drive you can get to the sea and have different options for hours, day or weeks for renting boats or kayaks or booking day tours to the most beautiful islands. In just under a half hour you can get to the long beaches in Sanibel, Captiva or Fort Meyers Beach. There are also a lot of good and traditional restaurants and shopping centers nearby. Biking or skating on Pine Island is very popular. You can go fishing in the lake. The stunning sunsets are worth notice - you can enjoy them from the pool area. We recommend the many direct flights from Europe.

Care: A German-English management service is on site. You can be instructed about the house and they will be helpful upon departure. The friendly management will inform you about shopping options, attractions and 'must-see' destinations.

Equipment:
include free Wifi internet, wired internet, cable TV, Netflix, German TV via a Fire TV and a special app. Furthermore, the kitchen is fully equipped. Stove, microwave, coffee machine, water cooker, toaster, blender, a gas grill at the pool area and much more is available. Each bathroom is equipped with hairdryer, towels, etc.
The salt water pool can be heated by solar and electric heating. Solar is free of charge. A hot tube is also available.

Boat rides: We are only located about 1 mile from the sea. Rental boats in different sizes and strengths can be rented in Matlache and Pine Island and for hours, days or weeks. You can start here directly by the open sea without locks and without long canals. For those who are not experienced with boats it would be best with pontoon boats. Boat licenses are not required in Florida. However, you should not be completely inexperienced. You can search beautiful days without having to pay a week price in advance. There the island world is breathtaking and always remains unforgettable. For those who would prefer to be driven, there are organized boat rides with Tropic Star in Pine Island to Cayo Costa, Cabbage Key, Boca Grande (enough time for swimming).

Highlights: The lake is very popular for fishing and thus, our lake patio is ideal for all fishes. The lake view is ideal for young and old - long-term renters are welcome. The heated pool is very comfortable during the winter months. Matlache and Pine Island are also very romantic and ideal for biking, canoeing and kayaking. Between a 3 and 10 minute drive and you can rent boats at 4 harbors. In Matlache and Pine Island, boats can be rented - also daily! Direct Gulf access without locks and without long and slow canals and rivers. The dream islands of Cabbage Key, Cayo Costa, Captiva and many more can be easily reached from here.

Spacious and open feel to lovely lanai and pool.

House was roomy and comfortable. Lanai, pool and view of canal very nice and enjoyable. I did not give highest mark because of lack of cleanliness and visible signs of wear and tear (e.g. hot tub not useable; lanai screen door broken; lamps without working bulbs; kitchen drawers dirty; threadbare linens and old bed pillows). Also, manager did not give us opportunity to fully clean grill and charged us $40.

Dated but clean

The house was very nice and was very clean when we arrived. We had planned for our GrandChildren to be with us but that did not happen. Just myself and my wife. Pool was great and the sunsets were beautiful. We grilled out most nights. The house was somewhat dated in it's decorations and furnishings. Just not our taste. Heavy colors and drapes everywhere including drapes in the bathrooms, interesting. Our only ISSUE was being notified that we would be charged for electricity!! When it came time to check out, the local contact who did not speak english very well, came by to collect our electric payment and it had to be in cash. It would have been so simple to just take it from our deposit. Not sure why it had to be in cash paid on the spot. Seems we must have missed that "extra cost" in the fine print of the agreement. I wish it had be explained better in the up front agreement. It wasn't the money as much as the concept of an extra charge on TOP of the reg rent for the week. Overall the house was clean and safe, we enjoyed our stay but would most likely rent some other place next time we visit.

Sehr schönes und extrem gut ausgestattetes Haus

Wir waren 10 Tage im Haus und haben uns sehr wohlgefühlt. Das Haus ist sehr geräumig, alle drei Schlafzimmer waren ausreichend groß. Für die deutschen Urlauber gibt es über Apps auch deutsches Fernsehen und WLAN sowieso. Der Poolbereich ist, wie in den USA in dieser Region üblich, mit einem Drahtnetz überdacht, um vor Insekten zu schützen. Einkaufsmöglichkeiten in der Nähe und der Blick auf den Kanal, in dem wir drei Schildkröten gesehen haben und jede Menge Fische. Summa Summarum eine klare 100% Weiterempfehlung, auch wenn wir die Klimaanlage als etwas laut empfunden haben, aber eine Wartung soll wohl Abhilfe bringen. VIelen Dank auch nochmal für die Betreuung vor Ort.Ein Tip wätre noch eine etwas detailliertere Anfahrtsbeschreibung. In Cape Coral ist die Strassengebung etwas verwirrend und wir haben das Haus trotz Navi auf Anhieb nicht gefunden.

The property it self is fine

There was heavy construction taking place next door to the property from 7:15am till 5:30pm sometimes upto 6:45pm. So much for a peaceful relaxing 15 nights. At the end of the holiday we found that we had to pay for electric as only a certain amount was included, this we weren’t aware of. So overall the villa was good but we would not have stayed here knowing about the construction and electric issues. Disappointed!

Top Urlaubs Location

Erholung pur, ein Haus mit allem was das Urlauberherz begehrt. Der Blick vom Pool auf den kleinen See, einfach schön. Das Haus ist liebevoll eingerichtet, mit allem was man braucht, großzügig, gepflegt. Für den perfekten Urlaub, mit dem Auto kann man die Umgebung kennen lernen. Auch könnte man mit ein Boot anlegen, insofern man hat eins vor Ort gemietet, gehört nicht zum Haus. Ein Ort um die Seele baumelt zu lassen.

It is everything the pictures show, absolutely beautiful!!

Wohlfühlen in Cape Coral

Beautiful property far from the Gulf beaches

The house was beautiful, the pool was clean and wonderful. The property is as advertised or better. Communications with the owners were easy and prompt. We received the deposit back promptly. The reason I did not give the property 5 stars is it's location. It is close to a very nice island of Matlacha with great places to eat where you can kayak and paddleboard, but it is far from the Gulf beaches. It took us over an hour to get to the nearest beach (some of it in traffic). This was our first time in the area and we did not expect the distances between places. Also, I would recommend leaving instructions in English as we could not understand garbage / recycling instructions in German (we did figure things out). All in all, it was a great deal.

Great location close to everything we wanted to do.

Ingo is great to deal with. The house was in great shape in a great quiet location. When sitting on the dock you get to watch the pelicans and other birds enjoying the lake. My husband has a disability and the house is very accessible for him as well as the pool. Looking forward to travelling again.

Cape Coral November 2016

When I received the "how was your stay" mail I was reluctant to write or give it a rating! why you ask, well if I go on about how nice the house was or what a great position and quiet location it is in, it will fill up fast and be booked up when I try to visit next year!! I have visited Florida's Gulf coast for the past 12 years, on many occasions twice a year on business and I always stay in a house in either Marco Island or Cape Coral, over this period I diligently hunt for a good property which will have me returning, sadly they are hard to find, but this ones a keeper so please Ingo and Tanya don't sell it any time soon I would hate to cross off another one. Great stay. Paul

Relax-Pool-Urlaub an Traumlage

Die Villa besticht durch sein einmaliges Raumgefühl, ist mit Liebe zum Detail durchgestylt und hat einen Charme, der einem nicht mehr loslässt. Auch fehlt es an nichts, um die Zeit im Haus zu geniessen. Die Suite mit anliegendem Bad besticht durch seinen grosszügigen Grundriss und seiner Ausstattung. Die Lage der Villa im weniger dicht besiedelten Norden von Cape Coral ist für Gäste wie wir, die die Ruhe, Abgeschiedenheit und Einsamkeit bevorzugen, goldrichtig und lässt die Hektik des europäischen Lebens weit hinter sich. Dafür ist die Pine Island in kurzer Fahrzeit zu erreichen und der Supermarkt Publix an der Kreuzung Burnt Store Rd und 78er ermöglicht Einkaufen in sehr kurzer Distanz. Direkt am See - ohne angrenzende Nachbarhäuser gelegen - mit ganztägiger Sonnenausrichtung bietet der Pool und die Gartenanlage mit Palmen und uneinsehbarer Bepflanzung alles für einen erholsamen und tollen Urlaub. Ein gepflegtes Anwesen runden einen bemerkenswerten Gesamteindruck ab. Die Grösse der Lanai ist sehr einladend, gedeckte gemütliche Sitzmöglichkeiten mit Deckenventilator sind vorhanden, der Pool originell gestaltet und Liegen ausreichend vorhanden. Mein Lieblingsplatz war der Schiffsteg direkt am Wasser, der mit dem schönen Steintisch und Sonnenschirm zum gemütlichen Verweilen einlädt. Die Blicke über den weitläufigen See sind einmalig und wenn dann eine leichte Brise einem versucht zu kühlen, ist das Glück perfekt. Der Vermieter ist sehr sympathisch, hilfsbereit und die Kommunikation ist hervorragend. Wir können sowohl Haus wie Vermieter uneingeschränkt weiterempfehlen. Ein Ort zum Verlieben und Wiederkommen!

Komfortable Villa

Wir haben 4 Wochen in dieser sehr gut Ausgestatteten Villa verbracht. Alles war so , wenn nicht sogar besser , wie der Vermieter sie beschrieben hatte! Es war ein Genuss von der Terrasse, welche den ganzen Tag über im Schatten ist,über den Salzwasser Pool auf den angrenzenden Kanal zu schauen. Wer Ruhe und Abgeschiedenheit sucht, ist hier gut Aufgehoben. Links und Rechts keine Häuser, von Bambus sehr schön verdeckt. Am Bootsteg kann man Angeln, sein gemietetes Boot anlegen, oder einfach beim Bier oder Wein die Vögel, Schildkröten,den kleinen Alligator beobachten. Sollte es doch einmal ein kleines Problem geben, dann ist der Gute Hausgeist Erika mit Rat und Tat zur Stelle.

Traumhaftes Haus direkt am Wasser

Eine Woche haben wir in Villa Princess verbracht. Trotz teilweise viel Regen haben wir die Zeit genossen. Die Villa ist sehr grosszügig und komplett ausgestattet. Es hat uns an nichts gefehlt. Unsere Kinder 8 + 10 waren aus dem Pool nicht raus zu bekommen. Auch sie wollen gerne wieder hierher. Supermarkt 5 min fahren. Bootssteg vorhanden. Bilder im Internet sind eigentlich schlechter als original. Bei unserer Anreise hatten wir Probleme, da unser GPS die Adresse nicht kannte. Dirk aus Holland

Erholsamer Floridaurlaub

Wir haben wundervoll erholsame 3 Wochen in der schönen Villa Princess verbracht. Die Beschreibung entspricht genau dem, was wir vorgefunden haben. Sogar ein neuer Flat-TV ist jetzt auch vorhanden. Sauberkeit war top, ebenso die deutschsprachige Betreuung und im Vorfeld durch den Eigentümer. Ein weiterer Pluspunkt ist die Nähe der Einkaufsmöglichkeiten für den täglichen Bedarf (Publix), den man in nur ca. 3 Autominuten erreicht. Gerne kommen wir wieder auf dieses schöne Haus zurück. Wunderschöne Hochzeitsreise

Wir haben uns bei der Auswahl der Villa in Florida viel Zeit gelassen und einige Villen verglichen. Die Villa Princess hat immer wieder den ersten Platz belegt. Buchung sowie Kommunikation mit dem Hauseigentümer oder die Rückbuchung der Kaution verliefen stets freundlich, schnell und unkomliziert. Nun zur Villa selbst. Es ist ein wunderschönes Haus, das dazu noch sehr geschmackvoll und hochwertig eingerichtet ist. Erika, die Hausverwalterin vor Ort, war direkt nach einem kurzen Anruf bei Ankunft da und hat uns alles gezeigt. Sie ist sehr freundlich und gibt gerne Tipps zum Essen, Shoppen oder Sightseeing. Die Einrichtung lässt keine Wünsche offen. Beim Pool handelt es sich um einen Salzwasser - Pool, was wir als sehr angenehm empfunden haben. Dieser Pool wird natürlich durch ein Rohrsystem aufgeheizt und somit ist keine zusätzliche Poolheizung notwendig. Besonders hervorzuheben ist die Ruhe, die wir in dieser Villa genießen konnten. Es gibt keine direkten Nachbarn und die Klimaanlage macht nachts auch keinen Krach (das haben wir woanders schon schlimmer erlebt). Naturell ist es sehr schön gelegen. Der See direkt vor dem Haus beinhaltet einen kleinen Aligator, der sehr scheu ist und immer mal wieder vorbeischwimmt. Wir fanden ihn besonders niedlich und haben ihm den Namen Gustav verpasst. Außerdem kann man auch immer ein Schildkröte beobachten, die zum Luftholen ihren Kopf aus dem Wasser streckt. Wenn die Pelikane und Adler zum Fischen vorbei kommen und im Sturzflug ins Wasser platschen, ist es immer wieder ein schönes Naturschauspiel. Sollten Jogger unter den Lesern sein: Am besten gleich morgens gehen. Der direkt angrenzende Jim-Jeffers-Park ist gut zu umrunden. Eine Runde hat ca. 1,5 km. Wer ein Auto hat, ist sehr schnell in den Shopping- Hochburgen. Miromar und Coconut-Point sind ein Muss, wenn man Outlet - Center mag. Hier trifft sich viel deutsches Publikum. Für Essen und Trinken sorgt der Supermarkt Publix, der direkt um die Ecke liegt. Alles in allem war es für uns eine unvergesslich schöne Zeit in der Villa und wir würden gerne genau hier her kommen, wenn Florida als Reiseziel ansteht. Vielen Dank an den Hauseigentümer für dieses wunderschöne Haus.

Our house is located on the small lake "Valmora". It is oriented towards the south, and it has a fantastic view over the lake. Left and right from the pool area there are palm trees hedges,so you are safe from prying eyes.
The interior is beautifully decorated and offers a cozy atmosphere.
