Camp Ellis Beach House with ocean and river views.
The entire house (except for one closet) is available to guests.
Since I live in Camp Ellis year round, I am available if you need me.
The house is less than 50 steps to the entrance of Camp Ellis Beach! You can view both the river and the ocean! The Queen beds, bedding, outdoor furniture and couches are new. There is a perfect beach vibe that will keep you coming back year after year!
Camp Ellis is full of walkers and bikers in the summer. The trolley comes to Camp Ellis several times per hour and continues to Old Orchard Beach.
Most dogs are welcome with pre-approval. I require you to put the provided sheets on the couches and clean up after your pet.
**** A $100 pet fee applies for each dog.
***** Important: Before you arrive you will be asked to complete guest verification through third-party provider Superhog. This is done to ensure we are keeping up-to-date with short-term rental regulations as well as providing both our guests and our properties with extra protection. Superhog will contact you via email and/or text to complete the verification. Please do so prior to arriving at the property to enable a quick and easy check-in process. You will also be given the choice between a security deposit or a non-refundable damage waiver. Although a cleaner will throughly clean between rentals, guests are expected to leave the rental the way they found it. If you would like to bring your dog, please confirm with me prior to arrival.
From day one the communication with the property manager was stellar. This was our first vacation back to Saco/Camp Ellis in a few years. This cottage did not disappoint. There were 6 of us this year and there was more than enough space. There is laundry onsite which was priceless. The cottage had all the basic amenities so no need to bring added linens, towels, pillows which was great! You couldnât ask for a better location with better views! Whether sitting in the rocking chairs on the porch or on the balcony it was amazing! The proximity to the beach was perfection! The kids, now a little older, could just head on over to the beach at their leisure. When we caught low tide you could walk the beautiful, clean beaches for as far as the eye could see. So much to do in Camp Ellis and this cottage was the perfect place to stay. We canât wait to visit again!
Arrived after dark. As soon as I went in house neighbor from across the street came over to complain the outside light shines right in his bedroom window. After unloading all of my Thanksgiving supplies I opened the oven door to find the most disgusting oven and cooktop that I have ever seen.. I emailed the host instantly.
We decided to take a last minute weekend trip to Camp Ellis, and was thankful the place we have booked for August, was available. The check in and check out process was a breeze. The hosts were extremely pleasant to deal with, and were very quick to respond to any questions. The property is a stones throw to the beach, with a great view from the 2nd story deck that is adjacent to one of the bedrooms. The location was very clean. It was perfect for our little family of 3 plus our pooch, which was also a huge plus that he was able to tag along with us! The property has plenty of kitchenware for cooking and eating. The bathroom was a good size with a good shower. And the beds were comfortable.
Thank you for having us, and we can't wait to be back to this property in August!
Our group of 7 stayed in July 2024 and were very excited about the location. The view from the upstairs bedroom and the deck is beautiful and the beach is just steps away. The beach however is curved in a way that at times the amount of seaweed that accumulates on it prevents being able to fully enjoy it. There is a lovely market just a few houses down that has amazing pastries and cute gifts. The house itself is in need of repairs. There was no air conditioning upstairs and no screens on the windows to be able to open and let in the fresh ocean breeze. The large windows in the one room without screens were a huge safety issue for any small child. The screen on the kitchen door was also broken, so again no keeping the door open for a breeze. Also the view from the kitchen window was of a dilapidated deck where all the old broken patio furniture was thrown. Most of the land around the home was overgrown and cluttered with junk. Small basic safety changes and landscaping would have made a huge difference.
