IL M'A PRIS UNE ANNÉE POUR METTRE TOUS ENSEMBLE SUR UN BEAU TERRAIN DE PLAIN-PIED QUI EST CONTENU DANS UNE COMMUNAUTÉ GARDÉE SÉCURISÉE. NOUS AVONS MÉLANGÉ LES MATÉRIAUX DE CONSTRUCTION ET LES TECHNIQUES DES TRADITIONS DU MEXIQUE ET DE L'INDONÉSIE.
LES MAISONS SONT FAITES DE TEAK ANCIEN, APROX 120 ANS. LE CONTENU, LA PIERRE VERTE DE LA PISCINE ET LES TUILES DE TOIT TERRACOTTA SONT AUSSI VENUS DE L'INDONESIE.
SUR LA PROPRIÉTÉ IL Y A 2 MAISONS REJOINTES PAR UN ESCALIER. LA PREMIÈRE MAISON PRINCIPALE A UNE CHAMBRE DOUBLE, SALLE DE BAIN, ÉNORME CUISINE COMPLÈTE, À L'INTÉRIEUR ET À L'EXTÉRIEUR DINNING ET À L'ESPACE DE VIE, À LA TERRASSE, AU JARDIN ET À LA PISCINE.

Paradise on the Bay

A bit of a tropical paradise, high on a hill above beautiful Zihuatanejo Bay, killer views, lovely lap pool to cool off in after beach time on nearby La Ropa Beach.The Balinese style house is a charming retreat in a safe, gated community.A great base from which to explore the area.

Beautiful View and Grounds

We really enjoyed our stay here. The home is uniquely beautiful in its style and decor. The view of Las Gatas and the lights of Zihua are fantastic. The infinity pool is perfect and the open concept allowed for cool breezes throughout. Susana was communicative and helpful.

Outstanding views

We had a relaxing stay at Susana's place up on the hill. We have stayed in the neighborhood several times now and this was the best view yet. The upper house has a great open layout, spacious kitchen and a patio and outdoor space with plenty of room to spread out and spend time with family. The pool was the perfect temperature for us. Lower house was a little small (doorways are low) for two adults but they appreciated the lovely bathroom and views from the shower.

The small house has 128 years, all teak and comes from A small town in Java !!! The views are marvellous

Beautiful

Susana is a wonderful host, patient to address all of our questions, and address any concerns quickly. It is a beautiful inspired Indonesian home, with the most gorgeous view, amazing pool and terrace. After visiting Zihua many times we wanted to experience a home rather than condo, and we love to walk so this did not disappoint.

35 days in paradise

Susana’s Balinese home is beautifully located high over the bays of ZIhuataneo. We stayed for five weeks and used the home as a base to explore the beaches from Playa Blanca to Ropa to Troncones. The home was a joy to return to in the afternoons. The lap infinity pool was refreshing morning, day and night. Magnificent sunsets every evening. The house is well equipped and could be enjoyed with the house wide wooden doors open. In those nights it got muggy, we would close the bedroom doors and use the air conditioning. Wifi worked perfectly and was fast. We brought a portable speaker to listen to music on the terrace while enjoying breakfast and dinner. This gated community was great to walk through and around the mountain tops. Full of fauna and birds. The main house is perfect for a couple. The first house is 30 steps below the main main house and is good to host two adults or children. We would rebook our stay in a heartbeat.

Peaceful retreat with amazing ocean view

There are so many positive things about this vacation rental. It is located high above the beaches of Zihuatanejo and affords a beautiful view of Las Gatas and the open ocean beyond. The community is very safe and quiet with an abundance of birds, butterflies, iguanas etc. The house is very special due to its Balinese origin and has beautiful decorations. There is a well equipped kitchen, very comfortable main bedroom and bathroom. Our kids stayed in the lower house just for a week and said it was great. Really a lovely place to unwind and enjoy natural beauty.

Unique and astonishing two bungalow house in the Pacific coast of Mexico... !!.

It is a most confortable and enjoyable two bungalow house perched in a the northwestern side of the 'Cerro del Vigia', overlooking the open sea, the 'las gatas' beach and the bay of Zihuatanejo. Each bungalow is a suite and they both share a canal type swiming pool and a terrace from which you can enjoy astonishing sunsets !. Tranquility is one of its features..., and in the mornings you hear the sound of the local birds calles 'Chachalacas', as well of other birds. It is a most confortable lodging with an open kitchen, an indor and an outdor dining tables, a very nice living room and a most enjoyable 'daybed' in the terrace. I spent ten great days in that property which also allows you to go for lunch to 'La Perla' beach restaurant at 'Playa La Ropa', or for dinner at any of the many very good restaurants in that area, like 'La Casa que Canta' or in Zihiuatanejo's downtown like 'El Chuleto' !. It is a wonderful retreet !!.

Very nice

Been through almost every major tourist destination in Mexico, this area exceeds all others by miles. Very clean house and absolutely beautiful view. We loved coming home for a swim in the pool everyday. 30 minute walk to the beach. About 90 pesos for anywhere in Zihuatanejo. Would recommend.

Beautiful, peaceful and just perfect

Susana's house is a dream. It has one of the best views of the bay and we enjoyed the elevation and watching the birds thermal through the breeze. The stunning pool was a perfect way to start or end your day. It's in a lovely community with loads of walking and even occasional concerts in the church. Susana was always quick to respond to any questions. The house is perfect for a couple and the below area is great for older children or other family members. Nice to have the separation. Just perfection. The area is breathtaking. One day we just stayed all day and enjoyed the quiet.

Beautiful, unique property with incredible views!

This is an incredible home that was imported from Bali and rebuilt here in Zihuatanejo. The amount of love and attention to detail that Susana put into constructing this home is remarkable and greatly appreciated. The views are incredible. I love the open air - the full front wall of the house is a retractable door that slides open. There are a few more mosquito's and bugs on the hillside because of the open air design, but I'll gladly put up with a few bugs in exchange for being closer to nature any day. I had to make an emergency trip to Houston for two days of my trip. Susana was so sweet to email me to make sure everything was ok. Susana is based in Europe but so attentive it was like she lived down the street. The neighbors are super friendly. They saw us on the beach and bought us a drink. We later had some local tequila at their home later that evening. Zihuatanejo is a special place. Renting this Bali home is an amazing way to experience this coastal town. Don't hesitate renting this home or visiting Zihuat!

A new perspective on Zihuatanejo

The owner was very easy to communicate with and quick to respond and answer any questions before and during our visit. We stayed for a month and the house worked out well for us. Everything was new and very clean, the bathroom and kitchen were nice and the bed very comfy. We spent a lot of time on the veranda watching the action on the bay and ocean and enjoying the spectacular sunsets. The pool is nice and the flowers and landscaping are beautiful We are longtime visitors to Zihuatanejo but this was a new location for us. We really liked the Cerro del Viagia neighborhood. The views are fantastic and it is a great place to take a walk for a different perspective on the area. Everyone is friendly and it was great to have your neighbor nearby for orientation and questions. While taxi service is available it was very helpful to have the use of a car as we went out every day to La Ropa or into town or the grocery.

I GOT IN LOVE WITH BOTH COUNTRIES,ITS PEOPLE,AND INDONESIAN AND BALINESSE ARCHITECTURE .I WAS NOT ALLOWED TO WORK AND I STARTED AN EXPORT BUSSINESS FROM THOSE PLACES AND OTHERS IN SOUTH EAST ASIA TO MEXICO.I REALLY ENJOYED IT. MANY OF THE FURNITURE WHICH IS NOW IN THE HOUSE IS FROM THE CONTAINERS I BROUGH YEARS AGO .I OPENED 2 SHOPS IN MEXICO CITY WITH LOVELY PEOPLE WORKING IN. I LOVED THE SPOT,WHO A VERY GOOD FRIEND AND NEIGHBOUR GOT FOR ME. THE VIEW IS UNBELIEVABLE ,PEACEFUL ,QUIET .I HAVE BEEN COMMING TO ZIHUATANEJO SINCE I WAS 6 YRS OLD!!!!!LONG AGO AND KEPT COMMING AS OFTEN I COULD.THIS IS A NEW DEVELOPMENT,MAYBE 15 YEARS OLD ,ITS WELL MANAGED ,SAFE AND HAS UNIQUE VIEWS ,SO I DECIDEED TO SET UP THE HOUSES IN THIS PLOT OF LAND ,IT WAS A GREAT CHALLENGE AND I AM VERY HAPPY AND PROUD WITH THE OUTCOME.

THE VIEW FROM ALL OVER THE HOUSE TO THE SEA,THE BAY AND THE WHALES DURING CERTAIN MONTHS OF THE YEAR.
A VERY SAFE COMPOUND ,WELL MANTAINED .
THE UNIQUE ARCHITECTURE BEAUTIFUL AND DIFFERENT FROM THE ONES YOU CAN FIND IN MEXICO.
THE TERRACE AND INFINITY POOL ARE SOO RELAXING ,SUNSETS ARE MAGNIFICENT.YOU CANT EVER BE TIRED OF THIS FANTASTIC VIEW.SOME OF THE FURNITURE ARE ART PIECES THAT YOU CAN HARDLY FIND IN INDONESIA NOW DAYS AND ITS A COZY,LOVELY PLACE TO BE IN.THERE IS A TENNIS LAWN A BLOCK AWAY,SECURE STREETS TO WALK,FRIENDLY NEIGHBOURS,BIRDS AND PEACE AND SILENCE DURING DAY AND NIGHT.
