Our cozy, beachfront Tidewater 2018 is a corner unit with amazing Floor-to-Ceiling views of the Gulf of Mexico and the sugar-white sands of the most beautiful beaches in the world.

A gorgeous 1 bedroom, 1 bath condo located on the East-side of Tidewater Beach Resort has plenty of bedding for 5 starting with a king-bed in the master bedroom, twin bunk-beds in the hallway, and a sofa sleeper in the living room. The condo also features a fully equipped kitchen with granite counter tops, a dining table with 4 chairs and 2 kitchen bar saddle stools. The stunning beachfront views, the incredible resort amenities, and the ideal location (just over ½ mile from Pier Park), ensure that that you will experience the perfect vacation at Tidewater 2018.

Please also note that Tidewater 2018 provides perfect views of the Panama City Beach Pier 53 and the best views in the city of the fireworks during the holiday seasons.

Great view

We loved the condo, the great views and beach access. The construction at the complex next to Tidewater was annoying (sun-up to sundown), which made it hard to sit on the balcony and enjoy. The banging, sawing and drilling were everyday, except Sunday. The condo itself was awesome. Would definitely stay here again (once the construction is completed).

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: corner unit was great. Building elevators terrible. waited for elevators between 15 and 20 mi s almost everytime.

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was very clean. I was very happy with the location. I was more than satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Absolutely loved the condo itself and the location of tidewater. It’s only a 15 minute walk to pier park forgoes of shopping and food so that was nice. But the overall stay felt more like hard work than relaxation. The elevator situation was awful. You would have to wait 20 minutes to an hour just to go up or down no matter the time of the day. Most of the time we walked the 20 flights down or up just to not lose out of time at the beach or other plans we had. The front desk associates were rude and did not seem willing to help when you needed something or had a questions about anything. Really unfortunate because like I said, we loved the condo itself and the services we received through the company we rented from.

The condo was clean and very nice. The toaster did not work and the dryer got rust stains on my clothes. I called the management company and they were very nice, but no one came out to inspect the dryer while we were there. The elevators are terribly slow, but the building was clean.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The condo was very well furnished and very clean when we arrived. The building itself has construction out front, which isn’t very attractive. The elevators do take a bit of time to be able to catch and go up and down since you are on the 20th floor. The main bedroom mattress was a bit soft and the bed was squeaky. Be aware that the little convenient store on site will charge you a resort fee for every item you purchase. If you need suntan lotion, go across the street or down to Winn-Dixie.

Tidewater

We give the room itself 5 stars!! The room was nice and the view was immaculate!!! We give the property, minus our room, 1 star. Having to leave our ID with complete strangers in order to use a luggage cart seemed ridiculous and risky. I did not want my, nor my fiance’s, ID lost, given to the wrong person or someone being able to see exactly where we live. Having to provide an ID for reservation purposes is understandable, but just to use a luggage cart, really?? Only one elevator was available to those checking in or out, and it was being operated by one of the workers. You could not freely use the elevators and had to wait a minimum of 30 minutes just to get on one. Some elevators were inoperable and had been for over a year. The complex programmed other elevators to ignore the button requests and we ended up having to call the front desk numerous times just to be able to have access to the elevators. Mind you, we were on the 20th floor. After reading the many rules and regulations of this place we realized how restrictive it was. No speakers at the pool, no coolers larger than what can fit under a chair, if you use any beach chairs you’re not allowed to open the umbrella without permission and have to have it opened for you. You aren’t allowed to have mini umbrellas either. There’s so much more to say but I’ve ran out of room. This place was horrible minus our room!! It wasn’t worth the thousands of dollars we spent. Will not be staying here again.
