Luxury home situated on beautiful Hiawassee River. Walk the path leading from front door to the river or just sit on the deck and enjoy the river views. A few steps to the river for your morning coffee or evening cocktail. This beautiful home is well equipped with heated bathroom floors, wrap around deck with view of river, with 2 master suites with private porches and much more. Home in convenient location, 10 minutes to the town of Murphy (and Casino), and just 1 mile to the John C Campbell Folk School. Nothing better than the sound of the river from your bedroom. Flip a switch to light the gas fireplace logs on those chilly mornings. Located on a quiet street with just a few homes. Great spot for your morning walks. Perfect mountain getaway. You will be in Paradise and on Paradise (road name).
Home equipped with all your needs like WiFi, gas grill, fully equipped kitchen and more. Television in each bedroom and living room. Internet with 100MB download speeds for working from home, streaming, or gaming. Short distance to local attractions like Fires Creek for picnics, hiking, and fishing. Nantahala has great kayaking and rafting.

Second time at River Paradise! Beautiful Cabin!Spent christmas with our two pups. The cabin is so welcoming and homey. Walk in shower upstairs and jacuzzi tub downstairs
very relaxing. River view/sounds from all of the front of the cabin. Murphy has great places to eat. Our favorite breakfast was Julie’s place and lunch was Rib Country. Both Great!! The cabin is equipped with all you need for dining. Brand New Grill was a plus! Great steaks and burgers. I can say so since I made em myself. The host, Dave, is very hospitable. Anything you need or have questions about he is on it! We highly recommend River Paradise!

Great location and loved the cabin. The grill was dirty and didn't work properly. Ended up cooking indoors. Other than that, it was a good getaway.

Wonderful property, nice neighbors, breathtaking views, roomy and beautiful interior. The host Mike is a great communicator and recommended beautiful hikes in the area. Very pet friendly. The kids and the dogs had a blast in the river. I really can’t say enough great things about this property. Will definitely return if we get the chance.

The view was as advertised! the home is very clean, well stocked and Copper loved it as well! Located close to Murphy, even though it seems very remote while at the house. Quiet area, except for a small house being completed nearby. Relaxing though rainy stay. We will return for more sunshine, hiking and riverside LG, RN

We stayed 4 nights and enjoyed each day. We would stay here again! The heated bathroom floors, fireplace, pet-friendly, and the river were my favorites. Great communication with host as well.

The small river front area was beautiful. The neighbors were exceptionally nice, they were outside all the time and we saw them everyday. The walk across the road was not bad. The neighbors do have a dog and the river area is not fenced so keep that in mind when traveling with pets. The house has a ton of windows that let in natural light, but no blinds in the main areas so night is not very private. The house was pretty, but our dogs had problems with the stairs (wood, steep, no traction). I wouldn’t call the property quiet as the neighbors are quite active. Fireplace did not work. Overall the river was great, and we enjoyed the town of Murphy.

Location was easy to get to and close to Murphy and all surrounding stores. House was beautiful, very clean, and comfortable. Property was really nice and the sound of the river was very soothing. Neighborhood was nice and quiet. Take a flash light for letting dogs out at night. Although house and property itself are well lit, everything to the right and left of house is very dark. Everything needed was provided (linens, TP, paper towels, dishes, espresso and regular coffee machines, toaster, dish washing supplies, etc.). WiFi works well. Would I stay again? Absolutely! Great place!

Beautiful spot in Paradise

Weather for our stay was still cool but we enjoyed the decks and fire pit across the small street down by the water. We brought our dog who loved getting into the cold flowing mountain water. The stairs were step for us so we spent our time on the main floor where the living area and kitchen are and one master. If you’re a coffee lover, you will enjoy coffee by keurig, espresso maker or even, my favorite, the ole percolator. We enjoyed playing cards beside the gas indoor fireplace and coffee on the deck. Such a peaceful place to relax and enjoy the sounds of nature.

Beautiful property & Great location!

Such a relaxing week with friends. Great location and close proximity to several locations! Beautiful river view! The house was perfect for our group and we enjoyed the large living area. Much time was spent there with the fireplace! We’re planning our next trip back! (During warmer months so we can enjoy the lovely decks and fire pit)

Very quiet and comfortable home

I rented this for my son and his wife. They only stayed there during the night and it was very comfortable. They enjoyed the fireplace in the mornings.

Absolutely beautiful

We had to change our plans because of a hurricane, and they were so helpful! Truly life savors! The place is stunning and the river is extremely relaxing. We would love to return!

Peace and relaxation

What a great cabin. The view to the river is so calming. The two suites made it great for us and my in-laws to have our own space. Any questions we had we received a super quick response and Mike went above and beyond for us. Anything we needed, Mike had. We cooked a large meal and had everything we needed. I can’t wait to book another trip and come back.

Wonderful "River Paradise"

River Paradise was exactly as the photos on the VRBO website depicted. The location was close to downtown Murphy, Ingles (grocery store), Brasstown, and Hayestown - all fun places to visit and shop. The house was roomy and nicely decorated with the North Carolina theme. The kitchen was well stocked with everything one would need. Our favorite was its close location right on the beautiful Hiawassee River with comfortable chairs to sit, sip a glass of wine and enjoy the river with the added bonus of lots of Canada Geese to watch and enjoy. Mike, the local manager, was very easy to communicate with and responded quickly to both emails and telephone calls. Overall, it was an absolutely wonderful trip (we stayed 5 days). I would definitely recommend River Paradise to all who love the NC area and rivers.
