STUNNING water views. 7 minutes from PR boat cruises. PERFECT HIDEAWAY!
Beautiful enclosed sunroom with wraparound water views. Super clean, cozy, and inviting. Enjoy the infrared sauna, kayaking, swimming, and nearby hiking trails. Take in amazing sunsets, relax by the lakeside bonfire pit, and explore abundant blueberry bushesâperfect for fall picking. The Indian River is just minutes away for rustic, scenic canoeing.
Quiet and Peaceful! Great views from almost every room. House was well stocked and clean. Close to town, Restaurants and shops. Would definately stay here again! 10 out of 10!
This proerty was perfect. Such a beautiful location. Secluded, quiet, and serene are perfect words to describe it. It was clean and comfortable. Such a joy to stay there!
Beautiful location and home! So peaceful and we had great weather in July. We had a great time fishing, kayaking, hiking and going to beaches. We also enjoyed relaxing outside and around the fire pit. Thank you!
Overall, great experience staying here. The house was spacious, the lake and location were peaceful and quiet. We enjoyed the kayaks a lot! It was pretty hot most days we were here and thought when the listing said AC that it was more than a couple window units. Was a bit hot in the bedrooms. Was a great stay though!
Photos don't do justice to how cool this place is. Perfect spot on a beautiful little lake, with kayaks waiting to explore. Check-in was easy, just keep driving past the dead-end sign! Amie was extremely communicative and helpful. Kitchen had everything we needed to cook meals and there was plenty of room for four adults and two young kids. Beautiful drive through the forest to get to Munising for groceries, restaurants etc. Highly recommend staying here!
Great location, ample space, good beds, and stuff to do (kayaks, fire pit) but the air conditioning is only in the main room (and doesnât cool sufficiently on a summer day). Also the basement bedroom has a slightly damp smell - despite a humidifier.
Perfect spot for us to stay as we explored the UP! It was very quiet and comfortable for our group. Plus we were within driving distance to tons of great things to see.
Plenty of space for our family of 6. Extra rooms to spread out and take in the views. We really enjoyed being right on the lake and having access to kayaks. Beautiful views and everything is just as pictured. Could use a few things to make it feel a little more âhomeyâ, but had all of the basics. Easy drive to pictured rocks. WiFi worked well at the cabin but no phone service. The house is ALL the way at the end of the road so it was a little tricky to find at first. Just keep going!
The house is wonderful and very comfortable just like described, the location is truly amazing, secluded and so beautiful, the pictures do not do it justice. We plan to go there again next summer for sure.... We Loved It!!
The location was wonderful with all sorts of wildlife to see from within the property. Comfortable and cozy although felt a bedside table would have been helpful. Be aware mosquitos bad in summer so we did not try kayaks. Able to stay indoors as there are good screens on windows in the room that looks over the lake. Would love to try at another time of year.Be aware a little confusing finding the access as it says Dead End and you see a garage but go on past it even with GPS. Perhaps a wee sign with an arrow for the house number on tree above that would help. Not far from town for any needs and eating out.

The key to property had been taken home by prior guest and no spare key so property had to stay unlocked during our stay. The property manager seemed upset that I was leery of this. Only light in sunroom had a broken switch. Ice cubes came out of icemaker brown tinged and property manager explained this as prior guests making iced coffee (through a water line??). Latch on back door not working properly. She was responsive in coming with her husband to fix this. Bedroom window glass was shattered. Stated it was from a storm the previous week.
The views were amazing from inside and outside the home. Very private and serene setting yet easily accessed. Water was not ideal for swimming, moreso for fishing, but we visited Miners Beach locally and had a blast swimming there. Access to kayaks was a nice touch. Some of our guests struggled with the lack of central air conditioning but central air isn't that common in this area of the UP, and it cooled down at night very nicely (we had temps near and above 80 for two of our days). Very proximate to Munising and felt like a quick drive. The home and experience could use a few touches to make it exceptional, but overall our group of five (plus two kids) had a very enjoyable stay. Couch was very large for a group and comfortable, sunroom was lovely to enjoy coffee in and play games, dining table was massive, and kitchen was well appointed.
Recommend taking day trips to explore all the beauty the area has to offer. Was equally enjoyable to spend the evenings and nights back at the home stargazing, having bon fires, fishing, or swinging in the hammock.
