The Red Door Lake House…A cozy, lakeside getaway nestled hillside in the trees of Hocking Hills. Offering a hot tub, a screened-in porch and a deck for sunning and stargazing with tree-top views. A private neighborhood lake is available to guests for fishing and swimming.
The Lake House is just a short drive away from all that Hocking Hills has to offer including Cedar Falls, Lake Logan, Old Man’s Cave, John Glenn Astronomy Park, and many shops and restaurants!

You will be able to access all of the house, except the owners lock up area.
All-Wheel Drive is highly recommended during all seasons, and required during winter and inclement weather.
Must be 25 years old to book. Proof of age may be required at the host's request. No smoking, no pets, and large/loud parties are not permitted. Only registered guests are allowed to be on the property. There is a exterior camera located opposite the front door with views of the driveway and partial side yard; it is always on and recording for your safety.

Hello, I am William a central Ohio native who like many of you fell in love with the Hocking Hills area. The area was the perfect fit for me and my family. With the hiking, local vendors, food, kayaking, star gazing and zip lining so close you will see why the State Park is so popular.
After years of being a guest all over the country I decided to find a place I could share as a host. Though new to hosting I am no stranger to what I like in a rental and intend on going above and beyond to make sure your stay is a great one.

Pourquoi avoir choisi cet hébergement ?
The Hocking area is expansive, but I specifically chose the Red Door because of its proximity to the lake. Being an outdoor-loving family, the idea of having a lake nearby was a major selling point for me. I surprised my girls with this vacation home so that we could enjoy it together, engaging in activities like kayaking, fishing, and swimming. It was a perfect fit for us and now we get to share these experiences.
Moreover, in addition to the lake and the stunning property, the location of the cabin is conveniently situated for access to various hikes and activities. Given the vastness of Hocking, being close to one hike often means being far from another. Fortunately, the cabin is approximately 17 miles away from most excellent hiking spots.
