Named after the historic Portage Park, a site where early settlers once carried their canoes between the Des Plaines River and the Chicago River, this neighborhood boasts a strong sense of community and a rich cultural heritage. With tree-lined streets, classic Chicago bungalows, and an array of local businesses, Portage Park provides a welcoming atmosphere for residents and visitors alike. The centerpiece of the neighborhood is the expansive Portage Park, a 36-acre green oasis offering a swimming pool, playgrounds, sports fields, and the Portage Theater. At O'Hare Airport, follow the signs to the taxi stand located outside the terminals.
Inform the taxi driver of the destination. They should be familiar with the address.
The taxi ride will take approximately 20-30 minutes, depending on traffic conditions.

Option 2: Public Transportation
From O'Hare Airport, take the Blue Line "L" train towards Forest Park. You can access the Blue Line from the airport's transportation center.
Ride the Blue Line to the Montrose Station. This journey will take about 45 minutes.
Exit the Montrose Station and walk east on Montrose Avenue for about 0.7 miles (approximately 15 minutes) to reach the apartment.


From Downtown Chicago:

Taxi from Downtown:
Hail a taxi from downtown Chicago and provide the driver with the address.
The taxi ride from downtown should take approximately 20-30 minutes, depending on traffic.

Public Transportation from Downtown:
From downtown, you can take the Brown Line "L" train heading towards Kimball.
Ride the Brown Line to the Montrose Station. The journey will take about 30-40 minutes, depending on your location in downtown.
Exit the Montrose Station and walk east on Montrose Avenue for about 0.7 miles (approximately 15 minutes) to reach the apartment.

HOUSE RULES

We are thrilled to have you as our guest! To ensure that all guests have a comfortable and enjoyable stay, we kindly ask that everyone respect these house rules. In the event that any of the rules are not followed, there will be a corresponding fee to cover any necessary repairs, additional cleaning, and disturbances.

- Parties, events, and social functions are strictly prohibited in the apartment.
- Illegal activities, drugs, and any kind of commotion are not allowed on the property.
- No undeclared guests are allowed.
- Smoking is strictly prohibited inside the apartment.
- Do not leave the place excessively dirty.
- Please do not lose the keys or take them with you when you leave.
- Please declare if you will bring a pet and advise how many you will be bringing along. Building only allows cats and will incur a $50 per pet fee. Unauthorized bringing of pets is subject to a penalty. We kindly ask that pets are not left alone in the unit.
