We had such a great stay in Bratislava. The location was perfect for walking to old town and sites (castle, palace, churches, etc). Everything we needed was available and the blackout shades and super quiet room made sleep super easy. We extended our stay twice... It was perfect for us.

It is a five minute walk to three trams and all travelers should travel by bus and tram. It is a 10 minute walk into the oldest center of the city. It is a 10 minute walk to a small shopping center with a large grocery store. The apartment definitely has everything you will need as a traveler, inc. a washer and a dryer, very large refrigerator and lots of towels, sheets, pillows and bedding. The television has about 100 channels including 10 in German, 2 in French, 20 in English. The internet connection was strong. The owner is very good at communications.

Excellent and quiet location and well equipped apartment

The apartment is located downtown Bratislava, just steps from restaurants and cafes in the old town, but without the noise of the night life. We found the apartment very comfortable with well equipped kitchen, including washing machine and dryer. Really, everything you may need for a comfortable stay. The owner is very caring and responsive, provides lots of useful local information and advice. We will definitely come again.

The Best VRBO

My husband, adult daughter and myself stayed at this fantastic apartment for almost 3 weeks as we were moving my daughter to Slovakia. Jozef is the most friendly, knowledgeable, accommodating Host out there. Our flights were delayed and we had a late check in, our trip extended and had to stay an extra day or two. Anything that we needed we, he was there to help. Always a quick text away. The apartment is roomy, bathroom is roomy, kitchen was fully stocked. The location of the apartment was spot on. Appx 3 blocks away was the old town where we ate dinner most every evening. The parking on the street worked beautifully. You do have to pay, but it is very simple to figure out. Grocery, hair salon, bar, everything was so close. When my husband and I come back to visit our daughter, we will not hesitate to rent again.

The apartment is quite large, with big room and very comfortable. It has everything that you might need when you travel and more. Very clean and new. Everything is new and in top conditions, including all the appliances (there is even a dryer that works great). It is super clean and new. The bathroom is brand new and the shower is great!! The location is perfect. It is steps from the old town but just outside and close to everything. It is in residential area that is extremely safe and quite. You can walk anywhere from there. Jozef is the best host I have ever had. He provided me with all kind of information on what to do in Bratislava and he really helped make my stay the best possible. I even left the key inside the apartment one night and in half an hour I was back inside. Super nice and super efficient!! Highly recommended!!

Look No Further! Definitely stay here!

I have stayed at many Vrbo properties in many countries and if they were all like this apartment, every vacation would be perfect! Jozef is not only the most caring and attentive landlord, he felt like a friend! He helped me make travel arrangements to other places (day trips and such), was really accommodating when my flight got massively delayed, everything! He provides water bottles for purchasing that are cheaper than at stores, a huge supply of towels, big & comfortable pillows on an also comfortable bed. The apartment is neat, functional, safe, clean, located in an incredibly convenient location. I was a woman traveling alone & my phone wasn't working, so I was just meandering the neighborhood alone, but I never got lost because the apartment is so easy to find and feels safe! It's near several tram lines and it's easy to get to from all the main train stations. The water pressure is good and the shower doesn't leak like some do in European apartments. There are two great places for breakfast right around the corner. Best hot chocolate I've ever had. Tons of restaurants in walking distance. Don't want to go out? The kitchen was spacious and easy to use. The security is fantastic. I could keep going, but I'm sure you're already convinced by now!

Absolute Must Stay for Bratislava

My wife and I are digital nomads who have been to over 40 countries and over 70 rental properties in our travels. This property is the first one where we truly felt like we were back home. The kitchen is very well stocked with quality pots and pans; there was a full spice rack, coffee, olive oil, and garbage bags provided. The air conditioner worked great in both rooms, it was 34+ Celsius 94+ Fahrenheit during our stay and we did not even need to keep it on the whole time we were inside. The apartment stayed cool enough on its own that you could run it for an hour and then turn it off for over an hour. The couch was comfortable and the wifi was strong enough for both my wife and I to take meetings simultaneously with no problem. The table was also spacious enough for both of our work set ups. The bathroom is as described and the shower is actually more spacious than it seems. The bed was also one of the most comfortable beds we have stayed in during our travels. Jozef met us upon arrival and let us drop our luggage off early, it's clear he travels often and wants to give his guests the experience he would want for himself. He spent time explaining a couple possible day trips to us as well as everything in the apartment. He has also taken the time to label all of the appliances with clear instructions. We stayed for 10 days and were very sad to leave. We will definitely be back again!

Well located and nicely equipped apartment

This apartment is well located, very close to the old town of Bratislava. The owner is very nice and helpful with information on the city and close by restaurants. Tout d'abord, l'accueil de Jozef a été excellent. Il était très agréable et a pris le temps de nous expliquer le fonctionnement de tous les appareils. Il nous a présenté la ville de Bratislava et nous a donné des conseils pratiques pour les visites de la ville et nous a communiqué des adresses de restaurants typiques. Nous avons beaucoup apprécié notre séjour dans cet appartement qui est très bien agencé, et qui est tout près de la vieille ville. We had an amazing stay in this apartment and for the last 2 weeks we stayed here, it was like our second home. It is walking distance to everything ,very close to groceries, , stores, public transportation, restaurants, historical districts, tourist spots and others. The owner is very responsive to all my questions before, and after booking and personally made sure we are comfortable in our stay. The apartment is very large and not what you expect in European apartments. It is also well equipped with information of where to go, what places to visit, what to expect, etc & has the necessities to make your stay comfortable. We will stay again if given the chance.

Fabulous Apartment!

This apartment is by far the best that we have ever rented through HomeAway! Jozef has done a masterful job in preparing the apartment, there is a 3 ring binder full of instructions, recommendations even phrases in Slovakian! The apartment presented itself exactly as described and is very conveniently located to the historic center of Bratislava with access to public transport, supermarkets, restaurants and the Danube for river excursions. We were very thankful to have found this wonderful place to spend our time in Bratislava! We highly recommend it!

The apartment has everything you could possibly need and is full of maps, books, pamphlets, etc to get you acquainted with Bratislava and Slovakia. Umbrellas, a large floor fan, a great pantry with wine, beer and other items available for purchase are examples of the thought put into the apt. Jozef’s father met us at check in and was most helpful. Location is very close to the old town and walkable.

Superb in every respect

Apartment Blue is without any question one of the best HomeAway experiences ever. The owner, Jozef and his family gave us a warm welcome and were very attentive to our needs. Jozef’s Property is outstanding. The apartment is spacious & equipped with everything anyone could possibly need. The location is brilliant as are Jozef’s suggestions for eating choices & day trips. We love to travel and we try to travel around the globe each time there is a chance. That helped us the most to know what should the apartment Blue offer to feel there like at home! We always try to do our best to make your stay nice, if you are happy then we are happy also !

Pourquoi avoir choisi cet hébergement ?

Central Old Town Bratislava location which is still easy to access with all kind of transportation, just on the edge of only pedestrians zone, you can't really get closer to the main square and at the same time have all the important spots around you. Shopping is easy, everything within 5 minutes walk. Each side of the building is close to various transportation nods so it is easy to get there/from the airport, train station, bus station. It is also easy to get off the taxi right in front of the building.
The apartment Blue is in the heart of Old Town and at the same time it is super quiet you would not believe, just see the reviews of our past guests. The apartment is facing the courtyard and the walls are thick, 100 years old, remember a lot from the history !

Quels sont les atouts de cet hébergement ?

Clear and detailed instructions, care, respect and comfortable stay. Same as what we expect when we travel.
It has a great location in the old town, walking distance within few minutes to almost all tourist attractions, restaurants, cafés, night-life, green park etc.
We have for our guests information about city and maps, if there is something we don't know - then only 4 minutes walk from the apartment is a tourist information office where they give you for free all kind of other information, maps, brochures or help you with ticket discounts.
What people probably like the most is the location vs how quiet it is. You would think you are out of town because its so quiet apartment. Easy to be busy during the day/night and then sleep very well. Windows have outside shutters/blinds which make the place completely dark any time you wish, this is usually very popular for people with jet lag, and they can take a good short nap any time.
