Plongez dans un accès exclusif à la piscine sur place. Deux parkings hors rue. Beautiful view / Dirty condo

The condo smelled musty and the chair cushions were very dirty, and one chair has lost its firmness. Additionally, the glass cabinet was not clean, and there were numerous handprints on the refrigerator. The beds were uncomfortable. We encountered a cockroach in one of the rooms. We were also disappointed to find that the patio table didn’t match the one shown on the website. The TVs were outdated without app access for streaming services. On a positive note, we absolutely love the view and the beach access!

Great Condo

We had another fantastic stay. The weather did not cooperate this year so we really enjoyed the condo this time. The condo is as described, clean and very comfy, located in the perfect place. Close enough to the boardwalk but far enough away to not be part of the hustle bustle. Between the view, the accommodations and how attentive the hose is, we really enjoyed our stay.

Amazing View

The property was as described and had an amazing view. It was perfect for our family of 4. Nothing bad to report. Only one suggestion is to put a digital door handle instead of a key. With a bunch of people in and out, the one key was a pain to hand off every time. I walked up the 3 floors several times forgetting the key. Got some exercise though.

Amazing View!

We stayed a week at Adele’s condo and it was wonderful. The front porch overlooking the ocean was spectacular. We even saw dolphins every morning!

Great location and condo, but needs a little upkeep

I agree with previous reviews on cleanliness. Needs a thorough cleaning in general; not just surface. Something was spilled on back of curtains going out to patio and it looked like had been there a while. It's a great place and layout with fully stocked kitchen. Just needs some updating. Chair soiled and torn, lampshades stained, bathroom fixtures rusted, easy fixes.

Love Carolina Beach

The host was friendly and helpful. The property itself was in a great location on the beach. The condo was comfortable and had some good amenitites (wifi, tv, pool, etc). I will say the furnishings could stand an update. The master bed was very lumpy and uncomfortable. But despite that, we had a wonderful vacation and I would recommend.

Great Location/disappointed with cleanliness and maintenance

This location was great. The condo was filthy. Dust on all the furniture. Food on the floor. I spent an hour cleaning the kitchen. Silverware drawer had food crumbs. Windows and mirrors had finger marks. Both slider locks were broke. Shower rod in hall bathroom fell down every time you tried to close it. I did alert Aldele about the slider and shower rod. She seemed like it wasn’t a big deal. Sign posted in condo you only had two hours to let her know about the cleanliness. I did but it was past “the two hour window”. The sliders not locking was very concerning when there was questionable people below us and came up and banged on our door in the am. Definitely would like twice if you are on a girls trip.

The place is nice, great views, walking distance to restaurants, it has all you need for a perfect beach vacation. Adele, the host is very polite and she is a text away if you need her. !00% recommended!

Great summer vacation

We had such a great stay! The location and view are absolutely amazing! It is just a short walk to the beach and we really enjoyed watching the sunrise from the living room! The condo itself is clean, well maintained and comfy all around. The kitchen is fully stocked and had all of the things we needed to make meals. It is a 3rd floor unit so there were a lot of steps as expected but our family does not have small children or anyone with walking issues so it worked out just fine for us. We enjoyed it so much that we have already booked it for next year!

Beach vacation

This was our 2 nd stay at the condo. New sliding door and outside table and chairs was a nice surprise. Condo was clean, no issues with anything.Condo has spacious bedrooms with 2 nd bedroom having the 2 queen beds is definitely nice. We had a wonderful week. Would definitely stay here again.

Cute condo with excellent access to the beach. With all beach stays some of the beds were sandy but nothing that couldn’t be cleaned up. We had a great time back at the beach it was our first time back sense 2019. Hope to come back soon

Great location, great stay

The property is located on the 3rd floor, corner room. The corner makes this an ideal location for relaxing with family around the picnic table while enjoying the breathtaking views Carolina Beach has to offer. It was easy accessing the property and parking spaces are well marked. We were emailed the parking permits after we had already left home and had to write our parking spot on a paper. The reason I mention this is 1. We always travel with pen and paper for those just in case moments 2. The owner was immediately responsive when I inquired about how not to get towed! We were extremely impressed with response time for questions. The property does need some minor updates such as repairing the sliding door. I saw other reviews mentioned this flaw but it wasn’t a deal breaker for us and the door worked. The handle simply needs a minor repair. We did place a towel in front of the screws at the bottom of the outside door as to remind us not to trip over them. The screws sticking out appeared necessary for boarding up the door for severe weather. For us, a towel laid at the bottom served as a quick fix to not catch our toes on the screws. The bedrooms were clean and the mattresses felt great. The kitchen is well stocked, including a k-cup & regular coffee maker. The kitchen supplies did not stop there, plenty of dishes, glasses and cooking utensils. We always bring our own pans for cooking but this kitchen had all we needed! We hope to stay again next year!

Good for the price

Excellent location with an awesome view on both sides of the property. Short walk to the pier which includes a really cute tiki bar. About 1.5 miles to the boardwalk, sort of a long walk if you are not in shape (lol) but managable. Also walking distance to a little convenience store/coffee shop. Not ideal to have to walk up 3 flights of stairs to get to the condo, but that was expected and understandable. The downstairs closet full of chairs/beach things was not labeled, and the lock did not work. Had to communicate with the owner to get a locksmith to come, who unfortunately did not arrive until a couple days into our trip. Be aware when the listing claims they have beach chairs, they do not actually have beach chairs, but instead a couple of camping chairs that sit up high. A lot of the outdoor items in the closet (boogie boards, etc) were broken. Only 4 rolls of toilet paper were provided for a 5 day trip for 4 people, so we had to end up buying extra toilet paper during our stay. A few things could use some maintenance, including the sliding door to the deck which repeatedly fell off the track. Overall, we had a nice trip and the property was worth the afforable price we paid.

Beautiful location with some flaws

Absolutely a beautiful view to start and end your days! The balcony was a favorite spot to enjoy whether we ate out there or just chilled. Place was the perfect size for my family of 4. Staying for 4 nights, it truly was a perfect spot. Couple flaws did come with this spot though. The reviews of the cleanliness are correct; crumbs everywhere, very dusty, trash can was sticky, the washer and dryer had left over soap and dust all over the front of it, appliances needed wiped down, and the stuff in the closets looked untouched for months. We tried to use the storage unit where we were told the beach chairs were but the key would not work no matter what we tried so we had to sit on our beach towels. If the owner would do some repairs, this place could be a HIT! The location and space gives this spot a huge potential!

1. 2 different addresses of VRBO from email documents led to confusions: 1308 and 1103 !! 2. Parking car: signage directing one to a very narrow/gravel lane to back of building for parking space. 3. Description "upper floor" be more specific; 4 flights lugging suitcases ! 4. Open sliding door onto balcony, door came off track took 2 of us to push back on track and help to open close. 5. Bath tub/shower wrong. Shower nozzle but no way to turn on. Shower in master bath water temp opposite normal. Water pressure in sink very weak. 6. May have pool but did not mention openedApril 15 the day we leave. Not impressed

Carolina Comfort Properties was created by Adele and JR. We are a husband and wife team that wanted our young daughters to make wonderful memories at the North Carolina coast.

We begin the renovations on our first vacation rental in the Spring of 2011. This business is Adele's pet project, and it allows her to work part-time while being a mom to two cute girls. When JR retires from the military, we hope to continue to expand and grow as a business. We love helping people plan their beach vacations. We've had the privilege of meeting a lot of wonderful people that made this experience very fulfilling.

Adele grew up in Alaska where many of her favorite childhood memories were at the beach. JR's ideal vacation used to be skiing, but now he likes to body board and run along the beautiful coastline. Although they spend most of their time at the beach making improvements to Carolina Comfort's vacation rentals, they hope to learn how to surf.

We have been visiting the Wilmington, NC area for years because we love the beach, the laid-back, college-town feel, and all the great places to eat. Carolina Beach was our choice for a vacation home because of its gorgeous secluded beaches, proximity to attractions and the affordability of the oceanfront properties. We loved this property because how it is in the secluded part of the beach and is a top floor oceanfront penthouse. The upgrades in this property is first class and modern. You have to see it to believe!

We are family friendly and provide all the comforts of home. The onsite pool is perfect to dip into after a day at the beach. The amenities in the condo are unmatched by others. Just bring your bathing suit and come ready to relax
