Mango House est situé sur la plage d'un village de pêche exclusive et un site naturel sur Chicxulub flamant Puerto dans le Nord Riviera Tropical à proximité du port de Progreso sur la péninsule du Yucatan.
Ce 5 chambre à coucher, salle de bains 6 Marque nouvelle maison est entièrement équipée et décorée avec des meubles de style plage, décoration de la mer et même avec quelques grands catchs de pêche. Family get together

Lovely home, very spacious and a well equipped kitchen with 2 fridges, the owners responded very quickly to any questions we had and would bend over backwards to ensure we were comfortable and happy in their home. A lovely couple! Would highly recommend this rental especially for large groups.

Great beach house with lots of space

This house has a fantastic layout. The kitchen is very well equipped and has a beautiful view of the ocean through the family room. It's great for socializing. The bedrooms are all large and each has its own full bathroom. There's an upstairs laundry room, a covered garage in back and a patio facing the beach with wet bar, swimming pool and a grill. We really enjoyed our stay and Luis was very easy to work with. I strongly recommend this property.

I would strongly recommend Mango´s beach house

This house totally exceeded our expectations! The home is new, modern with spacious areas. There is a bedroom with bathroom located at base level so it´s very comfortable and convenient for people with physical limitations, we had family members of all ages and everyone had a wonderful time. Views are amazing. The pool is perfect. Well-equiped kitchen. The area is plenty of things to do, town is just some minutes away and there we got all we need, very good restaurants. The owners made us feel like we were close friends and they made all to be sure that we had everything we needed to make our visit perfect. I really recommend this house.

Fantastic home, wonderful owners!

We just returned from a month's stay at Mango's Beach House and we have only good things to say! From the first meeting with Luis and Claudia (and the great tasting dessert they brought us!) to the final goodbye to Misael, we had no complaints. That doesn't mean we didn't have little glitches, but they were all handled in a timely fashion and all went well. It was the perfect distance from town....we could walk the beach or the road and get our daily exercise.....and it was the perfect distance from town......we had peace and quiet! (except for a barking dog or two, but, oh well!) At one point, there were 8 of us and we had plenty of room. Loved the breezes we got from the gulf side! The house is very well appointed. Would definitely recommend to anyone and we hope to return! Thanks, Luis and Claudia! Misael too! Our 9 year old granddaughters loved being able to practice their Spanish with you!

Unbelievable!! Loved it!

This was our first time to rent in Chicxulub, Yucatan and the "Mango Beach House". We are originally from Texas on the Gulf of Mexico and have really missed the beach, ocean, and Mexican culture. We presently live in South Carolina on the Strom Thurman Lake. Mango Beach House was an amazing house and was furnished nicely. It met all of our needs. Luis and and Claudia and family were truly amazing. The were the best, always answering our questions, even had us over with our friends for the best tamales and Tres Leches cake that we have ever had. I think that this is how they always are with their guests. We were there for 6 weeks and their caretaker checked on us every other day. It was great. You will not be disappointed staying there. It is very close to Progresso and the capital of the Yucatan, Merida. There are also several Mayan Ruins nearby and many seashore villages to explore. Huge Beach Front House - Very Relaxing

We had the pleasure of staying in this very large and relaxing beach front house for two weeks. The owners are amazing and helped us a lot by buying groceries for us before we arrived. This is a great place for a large family to gather! Pro's: 5 - Large rooms and 6 Large bathrooms 2 - Large fridge and freezers (this was really helpful for our group) The pool was the perfect size for our smaller kids. Wifi and TV worked great. The huge windows on this house capture the amazing view, especially on a sunny day. The house is about 45 minutes from the city of Merida, which we enjoyed visiting. What you should be aware of: The house needs some minor work. One of the toilets was taken apart and was unusable while we were there. Salt water has started to corrode some of the metal around the house. The couches have a damp smell, and most of the lights out on the patio didn't work. The appliances are probably mid to low end, but work just fine. The house takes a little getting used to, but was perfectly fine for us. We had an amazing time. We would definitely stay at this house again.

Spacious & comfortable house on the beach

Mango's Beach House is spacious and comfortable, and with 5 bedrooms and 6 bathrooms, it's ideal for hosting a large group. The large patio out back, the small pool make, and the expansive kitchen/dining area make for great gathering spots. Luis and his wife were very welcoming hosts and were quite responsive to our requests. We would highly recommend staying here.

Beautiful, huge house right on the beach.

Beautiful, huge house right on the beach. This five bedroom house was bigger than I could’ve imagined. There is room for so many people inside and out. The view is spectacular. Luis was a very good host and responded to our concerns very quickly.

A lovely property in a unique setting

This is a spacious home, and the pool makes it special. I was surprised that the property doesn’t have air conditioning , but once we purchased floor fans from the grocery store, we were more comfortable, and any noise was lessened, important for our youngsters.

Exactly as described, wonderful family owners

It seems no property is ever as good as described, EXCEPT this one. After spending a month at Mango's House we came to the pleasant conclusion that this home was even better than advertised. From huge spacious rooms, comfortable furniture, a well equipped kitchen, ample patio furniture, as well as extra linens, help to make this property a step up from anything else offered in the area. The home and property were very clean and a caretaker checking in every couple of days made sure that any requests to the owner were satisfied very quickly. Don't let the reputation of the Northern Mexican states affect your decision regarding this area. The people of this whole area of the Yucatan are some of the friendliest people in the world. Although we had a car for the duration of our stay, nightly walks after supper to the town square always felt safe and met with cheerful smiles and "Buenas Noches". There are numerous restaurants in walking distance, as well as small "stands" that offer limited but delicious, inexpensive local cuisine. A couple of local grocery stores offer the basics, with large grocery stores a short drive away in Progreso. Local transportation that is both inexpensive, and goes by every few minutes will enable you to get to most all areas including both Progreso and Merida. The most sincere compliment we can leave is to say that we enjoyed our stay so much, we booked for a month for next year. " Luis y Claudia.......venimos como turistas, pero nos vamos como familia. Feeling like home all commodities you need

We came from California for vacations to Merida, I was not really sure If I should rent a house or hotel because we had a party of 7. But I am really glad to had decided rent this house. It has 5 rooms (1 is on the first floor) all have it’s own bathroom. All amenities worked great 👍 pool, tv cable in English, WiFi.

Truly a wonderful experience with great owners

We stayed at the Mango House for 5 months (September 2016 to January 2017) and had fantastic time. We found the house ideally located as it was right on the beach and we could walk to town/bus in 15 minutes. The house has plenty of room and is very well taken care of. We loved the openness of the kitchen and living area to the patio and pool. Having the 2 fridges was great as one could be for food and the other for drinks. The bedrooms were extremely roomy and beds were comfortable. The ceiling fans were well used in September and October! It was great having a washer and dryer in the house to do our laundry as needed. The owners (Luis and Claudia) are wonderful people who made our stay extra special. We enjoyed spending time with them and their family. The caretaker and housekeeper did everything they could to make our stay enjoyable (even though they spoke little to no English). Next time we are in Chicxulub, we will definitely stay in the Mango House again. We highly recommend staying here.

Great house, great location, great beach!

This was my third time renting Mango House and I was very pleased with the house, amenities, and the local area. Our group of 11 were very comfortable as the house is huge with lots of space to call your own. We enjoyed cooking in the spacious kitchen and having seating for 12 at the table. Lots of outdoor patio space poolside, beachfront, or in the shade. Thank you Luis and Claudia for allowing us to spend Semana Santa at your beach house. I look forward to a return.

Great house, location and owners

We rented Mango House for 33 days, there were 2 adults and a set of 10 month old twins. This house had more than enough space and would be great for a larger group. Owners Luis and Claudia were very gracious, met us in Merida to escort us to Mango house and were there to answer any questions we had as well as make arrangements (weekly house cleaner, translations, etc). Misael, the property caretaker, was a treat. He would check in every couple of days and had a great time visiting with the twins. His English is almost non existent as is our spanish but we made it work. Just a heads up, this is not the Cancun Hotel Zone. The house is on a great beach in Chicxulub, a small fishing village. If you want to experience the real Mexico and are not interested in gorging yourself at an all inclusive this is the place for you. We did have a rental vehicle and travelled a fair amount, Luis can provide some recommendations. Being more centrally located than Cancun we were able to visit many more sites (the twins limited the length of our drives each day) and find some gems. Hint: skip Chichen Itza and hit up Uxmal, trust me on this one. The house was great, location was great, weather was great, definitely recommended. The only issue we had is that some ants found their way into the house and we had to deal with them.

Superb!

The home and property was above average and well appointed. We had everything one could want or need. The owner, Luis and his family, were very helpful and gracious at every turn. The caretaker Misael, aside from limited English, was friendly and checked in on us periodically but not intrusively. The beach was very nice with lots of shells for the beachcombers. Don't let the fact that the house is not air-conditioned deter you, as it was well designed to assure maximum air flow and comfort.....we never once wanted/needed (or thought about) AC. This home is perfect for large groups and at a terrific value. I plan to return, with a group of 10 friends, next year. Well done! Allan, New Brunswick, Canada

Fantastic home and Fantastic Owner!

Luis and his wife and daughter met us personal in Merida and escorted us to their beautiful beach home. Mango House far exceeded our expectations! We spent many hours searching for the perfect home for our vacation and we certainly found it. Their caretaker checked in on us daily to see if we needed anything. Luis was always available for any questions. We highly recommend this beautiful home and can't wait to return again soon!

We came back a couple of week's ago from our Yucatan vacation and staying at Mango's house was a wonderful experience. the house is very comfortable and has any and everything you need to enjoy your time there. Everything is modern and new, the kitchen is well equipped so if you like to cook your own meals there will be no problems, the owners are very friendly and willing to help you in any way, giving us tips of where to go and places to visit. I recommend Mango's house for your next vacation in Chickxulub!!

Loved the house and loved the owners!

Had a wonderful stay in the beautiful house. The picture does not do it justice! The home is very large and yet very private as each bedroom has it's own bathroom. The house is very modern with all modern conveniences. Loved the Chicxlub area, very laid-back and mellow. Luis was wonderful to work with and he has a local man to check in in case there are any problems. Our family loved our time there.

Great property & owners who care for you.

The owners of this property are business oriented and as such they know the value of customer service. We had a hard time finding a property for the Christmas season 2013, any realtor we called never returned a phone call. Luis was totally different; he answered our phone calls, arrived on time to show us the property on a Saturday and offered standard prices rather than "gringo" prices. The house is fantastic, well equipped and maintained. The area is safe and never felt unsafe. Lots of things to do around and very close to Merida. What we most liked about the property is the cozy feeling at the same time that it offers huge private spaces. I would totally recommend this property, it is hard to find people like Luis, willing to serve and treat you like a human being and not like another dollar sign... We wish the best to the family and the business... Mendoza Grover Family from British Columbia Canada.
