Coastal living at its finest, The Blue Crab overlooks North Carolina's gleaming shoreline while boasting a plethora of fantastic amenities! With multiple levels of living, there is more than enough space for you and your loved ones to spread out, get comfortable, and make this space their home.

The lower level showcases a pool, hot tub, and gas grill. When you aren't hanging out here, sit back and sip on one of the spacious balconies equipped with Adirondack chairs.

Inside, the open-concept living room, kitchen, and dining room blend together in perfect unison. Fireside movie nights can be enjoyed from the comfort of the oversized sofa, whereas delicious meals will be prepared with ease amongst the full kitchen's blue countertops and updated appliances.

Follow the home's charming nautical-themed mementos into each of the five bedrooms, complete with soft linens, ample natural lighting, private TVs, and effortless bathroom access. Multiple of the home's bathrooms have jetted tubs, ideal for unwinding after a sun-soaked day.

When your extended family is with you, the home's additional kitchenette and seating area will come in handy. The little ones of the family will love having a game table to play on, and the adults will appreciate the separate washer/dryer, helping keep chore time at bay.

When you can pull yourself away from The Blue Crab's charming ambiance, head for Jockey's Ridge State Park, Lost Treasure Golf, Jennette's Pier, and the Bodie Island Lighthouse.

Private Pool Dates: The private pool is open May 1st through October 15th. The private pool is unavailable outside of these dates.

Parking notes: There is free parking available for 5 vehicles.

Family time

The property looked just like it did online! Check in and out was easy. Close proximity to the beach a mini golf course and a cute park! Only thing I would say is if you have an issue with stairs this is not the home for you to stay in. We had an issue with the sink leaking and they came right out. It was a nice time

Great Home for a Nags Head Vacation

The home was close to the beach and the pool was small but worked well for us. Everything you need is there and plenty of room to spread out. The pictures on the website are accurate. I recommend this location.

Must Stay!!!

We loved the house and the many amenities offered from pool and hot tub to bathrooms in each room. Location was great being 5-10 minutes walking distance from the beach and stores. Would recommend to anyone planning to visit Nags Head to stay at the Blue Crab!!!

Great Home for Big Family

We had a great time in the OBX and this home really helped with that. It’s spacious, perfect for our big family. Everyone had their own bathroom, plenty of space in the living room/kitchen. We used the grill one night and it worked great. Hot tub and pool were fun to use as well. Easy walk to the beach. We would definitely stay here again!

Roomy with a nice leg workout

We loved the size of the unit. Walking groceries to the third floor was tough for the elderly guests, would not recommend for older people because of all the stairs. Food lion packed groceries in paper bags, no handles.. yikes! Beach house was sound proof, none of us heard each other on the various floors. I would also suggest a heating element for the pool. It was freezing and dirty. A nice umbrella would have been beneficial for children or just simply for a sun break . We prepped our food for the grill and when we opened it, it was full of ants, dirty amd completely out of propane. Very disappointing.. again, suspect that as a possibility mid-late season but not the first week of June. Fans were dusty and bedroom furniture needs a nice cleaning. The fridge in bottom floor was a waste and ruined a few items. It was a nice unit with great potential! Be ready for a nice leg workout. Very close to beach.

Lovely Stay

We were hesitant to book because it was a new listing with no reviews, but I am so glad we did. The home has plenty of areas for even large groups to separate and have their own space. Each bedroom has their own bathroom and the three bedrooms on the mid-level even had access to a balcony. The home has a little bit for everyone with the rec room, lofted seating area with the best views for reading, pool (not heated) and hot tub. There was a large sectional on the top level and the dining table and bar provided plenty of seating. Pictures did not show, but there is a fairly large laundry area on the bottom level with a full size washer and dryer. You are able to view the ocean, but due to the height of first row homes, it isn't the clear view some might desire though this home might have the best view on this row due to the location of the beach parking and break in the second row homes. The best news is the walk to the beach is VERY short as you have a straight shot through the public beach parking (no need to walk around the block or through others property.) We could have easily driven and parked in the public access parking (this might be nice if you are bringing lots of items) but the walk was a less than two minute easy walk. Getting over the dunes to the beach does require going up several steps and over a wooden walkway but this is required in almost every location due to the high dunes. We would definitely stay again.

Perfect vacation home for family

The home is perfect, every bedroom has a bathroom. Very spacious and easy for everyone to be together or spread out to private areas. The pool is nice. The beach access is simple and close. Home is also short drive or walk to grocery store, coffee shops etc. It was one of the best best homes we have stayed at.

We Love the Blue Crab!

We have stayed in this home many times. It has a great bedroom layout, ample space, and is very comfortable. Just a short walk to the beach, the candy store, and Dowdy park.
