L'air central, les nouveaux planchers de bois franc, les luminaires, 3 télévisions à écran plat et la grande cour privée en font l'endroit idéal pour se détendre et oublier le monde extérieur tout en profitant de la vie sur la plage. Bonnet Shores est une communauté tranquille en bord de mer située dans le nord de Narragansett. Profitez de Narragansett ou sautez à travers les ponts vers le centre-ville de Newport (20 minutes au sommet)

Kelly Beach est la plage familiale idéale. Il est
.5 miles de distance. Vagues de taille moyenne, pas de circulation sur la plage, rochers à grimper et crabes à attraper!

Friends Annual Trip

This was our first trip to Narragansett. We loved our stay, location and distance to the beach were great. Everyone in our group loved the 5 days we had there!

Bonnet Shores property

Overall the stay was pleasant. The house is comfortable and is close to a nice family beach. It has a nice bright kitchen and living room. A few things would have made this a five star experience: curtains for the window in the dining area, a lock on the sliding glass door downstairs, and a cleaner carpet on the steps leading upstairs and going downstairs.

Annual Narragansett Trip

We stay in Narragansett annually. This year we wanted to stay closer to the town beach with more space. Overall, this house worked out great for us. We like to grill and not eat out every night and we did have to purchase propane in order to use the grill. Also, we like to sit outside at night and the lights in the backyard didn’t work. Ultimately that didn’t put a damper on our vacation and we’d stay there again for sure. Great location and lots of room!

bonnet shore

Nice house, plenty of room for our family of 8. love being able to use Kelly Beach with our little one. Interior can use a fresh coat of paint, and the outside needs frequent washing due to the amount of spiders on every window. Overall a great stay. The owner was so nice and so quick to respond to our needs. Would rent from him again for sure.

As Advertised - How Often Can You Say That?

Perfect for our annual Newport Folk Festival trip for six adults and two babies - and for those who preferred the local and state beaches. House is well equipped and owner was responsive to some needed repairs that he couldn't have known about. He even told us upfront that there were new towels coming the next day because some of the old ones had been given a workout by prior guests.

Great Family Vacation

This was an ideal family rental property and Bonnet Shores was a great area. The owner had clear and very helpful information and was very good at communication. We had my 81 Yr old mother with us and two families with 9 year olds and 6yr olds. There were lots of stairs to get from The kitchen to the outdoor area, so not ideal With anyone who has mobility issues, but it was really easy to get to Kelly Beach (ideal for families) and getting around the area. There was a grill, outdoor area and plenty of helpful things for vacation (cooking and beach-wise). We would certainly recommend it for a family vacation!

A Convenient Gem

We came into town for a wedding in Newport and this was a perfect place that fit all of our needs. The inside is clean and spacious where all of us could be together but also rest quietly if needed. The backyard offers privacy and room to play. Though we did not come for a beach trip we did explore some of the area and the location is perfect by being close to the shore but also all the amenities one needs--grocery stores, restaurants, etc. The owners are always accessible and were a pleasure to deal with. If we ever come back this way we'd certainly stay here again.

Literally bugs coming out of the drains…moldy smell in basement sleeping quarters. Contacted property owner by phone call with voicemail and via text message and NO RESPONSE. Would not go back. Trying to get a refund

Family Beach Week

This house was great for our extended family of 9 (6 adults and 3 kids). The four showers (3 inside, 1 out) made it convenient for us all. Since we had great weather, we pretty much did the beach every day. Scarborough Beach was our choice.. for our desired mix of affordability and closeness (8 miles). Kelly Beach (1.2 miles away) was only good if one of us wanted to be a driver/drop off person. There is no parking at all there. BUT, it was great if someone just wanted a walk on the beach after dinner or only had a few hours to spend. The house was pretty well equipped, but we quickly ran out of stuff like dish detergent, toilet paper, paper towels, so bring extra. Nice, quiet neighborhood and great backyard for the kids. The picnic table in the back was great for the kids to do crafts and play games Ohh..and the beds were comfy. The host was very available and we received prompt responses to inquiries.

Great location - spacious house

We stayed in this home as a staging base for all activities in the greater Narragansett/Newport area. This home is spacious with a lower level that allowed extra space for our group of 6. This house doesn't have a full garage since the garage space has been mostly converted to a bedroom for the lower level which was tricky as we brought 6 bikes with us. Owner was helpful and responded quickly to all questions. Great easy stay in this quiet family neighborhood.

Wonderful getaway!

The house was exactly as advertised. Plenty of bedrooms and bathrooms to accomodate our group. We enjoyed a couple of beautiful days on Kelly Beach and a few local restaurants. Perfect place for our gathering.

Responsive host

Short stay for a family wedding but everything was as expected- clean, accommodating, and Glen was really helpful. We loved visiting Bonnet Shores with our toddler. Great for all ages. Thanks for a great stay!

Beautiful home and great location

This is a perfect place to stay it is close to Newport which we did at least 3 times. Close to a few beaches. The house is as described. My grandson enjoyed the yard.

Great little get away house. Neat and clean, it could use new carpet and having the walls washed.

Great little spot . Tidy house close to some great beaches. Could use new carpet and wall washing or paint. Owner was great. I would rent again.

Perfect stay!

We rented this house for a girls weekend and it was perfect. Plenty of space (there were 8 of us), a nice walk to the beach, and a short trip to downtown Newport. The house was clean and exactly as described in the listing.

Girls Weekend

This was a NICE place to stay. It's in a quiet neighborhood. It is clean. It's a short walk to one beach, a beach great for scenery and view. There is a longer walk (about 20 min) to a second beach (Kelly Beach) - a nice beach set in a cove with good sitting area - the downsides were there were no restrooms or parking. Bring your own beach towels. It had the perfect amount of space for my friends and I, a group of 5. The kitchen has a good supply of utensils, plates, and cookware. There is a dishwasher, washer and dryer. There are two comfortable living rooms/sitting areas (upper and lower levels). There are 3 bedrooms on the upper level and two bedrooms on the lower level, comfortable beds. I would stay here again given the opportunity.

Family retreat

Glen was very responsive. Had great time at your lovely home. Very clean , lovely backyard. Only problem was unable to get to Kelly beach . too far a walk and no parking .Went to Roger Wheeler beach for swimming and Scarborough beach for dinner picnic. We were a group of 10 -8 adults and 2 children.House was great for family getaway

Great family vacation home

We had a wonderful stay in Bonnet Shores. The house had everything we needed and was very comfortable. We were just one family but you could have fitted two families easily. It's a very mellow and friendly neighborhood too. Kelly Beach was great for kids. Glen the owner was very responsive and dealt with a small hiccup during our stay incredibly quickly and efficiently. The kids are already asking if we can return next summer!

This property is perfect for the family who wants to be close to the beach and have a large yard back at the house to play frisbee, catch etc.

****Concerned if your rental will be clean when you arrive (for most the biggest fear when renting). This house is professionally cleaned before you arrive. I hire the best cleaning team in RI. They thoroughly clean the entire house including things outside like the outdoor shower and grill! Rest easy when you rent this house!
