New Year's stay

Great property with a view of the ice rink and an excellent view of the fireworks. All the little extras were supplied and the host was attentive. We'd definitely recommend this unit.

Modern Happy Valley Stay

The unit is new and modern with all the features you'd expect. A 3 minute walk to Happy Valley allows for easy access to the Gondola, Magic Carpet, Tubing and Ice Rink. Great for a couple of families with kids!

Big White Ski holiday

We booked this property as part of a family trip to celebrate our daughter finishing high school. We had a great time at Big White. Martina and Derek were very helpful before and after our arrival and the appartment was just what we wanted. It was spacious and very well appointed, everything was so new and there were so many nice touches such as a great kitchen and a cosy gas fire. We were very close to the Gondola so getting to/from the ski runs was super easy and we had front row seats to the Saturday night fireworks. It was a real highlight of our trip.

Lovely well appointed condo and very conveniently located in Happy Valley for ski-in ski-out access!

We had a wonderful stay at Spyglass 2D! The condo is spacious & beautifully appointed, well equipped and very thoughtfully designed. The location was excellent - 2 min walk or easy ski out down to the gondola for village access, and ski-in was super easy too off the Happy Valley Way ski run. The bedrooms and bedding are super comfy, the large open plan lounge & kitchen has unobstructed views over the skating rink & carpark (and best location to watch the Saturday night fireworks!) with lovely comfortable sofas and plenty of room for everyone to come together & socialize at the end of the ski day. There is plenty of storage space, and we loved the fabulous jacuzzi, small ski locker immediately adjacent to the front door, large entry area with bench & hooks perfect for getting ready for the ski day, the heated floor & beautiful steam shower in the master en-suite. Martina & Derek are wonderful hosts - friendly & helpful and made the entire process from booking to arrival & checkout super easy. We have stayed in several places in Big White over the years, and this fabulous condo definitely ticked all the boxes. We loved our stay here, and will definitely book here again when we return to Big White!

Martina & Derek were very responsive to questions during the booking process and checked in with us during our stay. The accommodation was amazing - brand new, nicely decorated and had a great layout. Kitchen was well equipped. Our group consisted of a family of 4 (2 adult children) with 2 friends and the bedroom configuration was well suited to our needs. The hot tub and main living space overlooked the lower valley and provided views of the mountains as well. It was also a perfect spot to watch the weekly fireworks or watch sports on the giant tv screen! The primary bathroom had a steam shower & heated floors which was a welcomed feature. We were also surprised to find two arcade games in the bunk bed room (pac-man & golden tee) which was enjoyed by all. We have been coming to Big White for over a decade but this was our first time staying in Happy Valley. Access to the gondola was quick and easy. Boarders had a short easy walkout to the gondola and could board in with a very short walk at the end. I was able to ski in/out from the unit with a very short section of skate skiing. I was pleasantly surprised by how easy it was to get on/off the hill & up to the village for dinners. If you miss the cutoff for the gondola it is an easy downhill walk to get to the unit. Overall, this was a great spot and we wouldn't hesitate to book again in future.

Absolutely loved our month stay.

We had a brilliant stay here for the month.We absolutely loved the property. There was plenty of space for us and we had everything that we needed for a comfortable time away from home. The location is great and just a short stroll to the gondola to get into the village. We cannot wait to return to Big white.

Big White March Break

We had a wonderful stay at Derek and Martina's place. It is meticulously clean and the property layout is very welcoming and functional. A large open space featuring a dining table, entertainment area with TV, fireplace, and Bluetooth speaker is connected to the kitchen, allowing everyone to socialize together. The views are spectacular whether sitting on the comfortable couches or relaxing in the hot tub. Main floor entry made for an easy arrival and departure, just steps from the car. The kitchen was well-appointed (FYI coffee maker uses grounds and filters, not Keurig) and enabled us to cook meals from home for a few nights. Going to the village for dinner is a breeze...less than 5 minutes to walk to the gondola and an easy 10-minute downhill walk home if you prefer some fresh air. If there is snow on the pavement, this property is a true ski-in/ski-out with a short traverse, otherwise, a short 2-minute walk along the driveway will put you on your way to the gondola. We highly recommend this property due to its location, cleanliness and positive experience with the hosts.

I'm from Vancouver, BC and grew up near Granville Island. After graduating from University of Toronto, I returned to BC and met my husband, Derek. We have two amazing kids, Henry (13) and Zoe (11). We love the outdoors, both in summer and winter (and even in the rain!). I also enjoy snowboarding, reading, cooking, and watching movies and shows. We love sharing our family vacation home with others and are committed to being responsive and friendly hosts. Please don't hesitate to reach out with any questions!

Pourquoi avoir choisi cet hébergement ?

I grew up in Vancouver snowboarding on the local mountains. Derek grew up in Montana, skiing every season. We share a love of the outdoors, both in summer and winter, and immediately fell in love with Big White when we visited. With its relaxed vibe and family-friendly terrain whether skiing or hiking, we knew this was the place for us.
