We had an absolutely amazing time at this beach house. The home had everything we needed for a relaxing getaway. The kitchen had great cooking supplies, the beds were super comfortable, and the living spaces were bright and open with stunning ocean views.The location couldn’t have been better - just steps from the beach! We loved sitting out on the deck in the mornings with coffee and winding down in the evenings listening to the waves. The hosts were also wonderful to communicate with - responsive, thoughtful, and welcoming.

2025 St. Augustine Family vacation

The property was absolutely perfect for what we were looking for. It's in a beautiful location and loved being able to walk off the back porch onto the sand. There's only one small flaw with the house - and I'm only mentioning it because it could be a safety hazard for someone. There are a couple of loose boards in the dining room area. It feels like the floor has rotted in that area and it's caving in. I am attaching pictures for reference. It wasn't a problem for us as we just avoided waking in that area but don't want the next guests to get hurt. We will definitely be looking for this same property when we come back to St. Augustine.

A wonderful house on the beach.

It’s quiet, a perfect location, and no crowds due to limited public access to the beach. A mere few minutes to Publix for all your grocery needs, and a short drive to many attractions in St. Augustine. Loved being able to walk out the door on to the beach. We took morning and evening walks. We’ll return to the house on our next trip.

Had a great time

Amazing location and view. I’ve been to many beach front houses and this location tops it all. 5 steps down and you’re on the beach. House is old but its got nice charm to it and is beautiful. We found no bugs at all so that was very nice.We loved this house so much it made us sad to leave. Two suggestions would make this house even better.1. So many light/fan switches it was very confusing. It would be nice if they were labeled.2. Charcoal grill was broken. Thats a must.

Beach Stay

The location in combination with the cost is great. The house however is not great. The overhead garage door does not lock so you will need to make sure the door with the deadbolt is locked. Once you get into the main door you need to be careful because the floor boards are either rotted out from water or termite damage. One can easily fall through the floor. The house is very choppy. Bedrooms all connect together. They are missing simple things. For example there is only one very small spatula. The fan in the master bathroom does not work. Lighting in the bathroom is also very bad with the non working fan light as your only light source. There is a skylight but it is covered in mildew and mold. The beach is beautiful and the sand is perfect.

Awesome Beach House

Perfect location right on the sand with beautiful views of the Atlantic. We saw dolphins swim by. Gorgeous sunrises and sunsets. Very close to St. Augustine and Anastasia Island. Spacious with a well stocked kitchen. Would stay here again.Would and An

Beach is steps away from back deck

Great spot on quiet Vilano Beach. Beach is very much the home's back yard; no 'process' (ex- multiple access gates, codes to remember, long walks, etc) of getting down to the sand and water. Very easy to run-up to the house, if needed, making it great for those with younger kids. House as-advertised. Would definitely stay here again.

What a perfect vacation!

Our family of five (parents and three college age adults) had a wonderful stay at this lovely house right on the beach. There was plenty of room for all of us, two bathrooms, two decks, and a great vibe. It had a vintage feel with all the updates we needed. We could enjoy the sun on the deck or go hang out on the beach, and we could even go up to the rooftop for more sunning or to watch the sunset. It really is the perfect beach house when we just wanted to hang out there, and it’s very close to good restaurants, jet skiing, kayaking, and all of the fun things to do in St. Augustine. The house was comfy and felt like our home away from home with personal touches that were very thoughtful. Thanks so much for such a wonderful spring break. We made a lot of fun memories. We’d love to stay there again!

This home on the beach has everything you need and the location is great! 5 minutes to historic St. Augustine, minutes to great restaurants and a beach we nearly had to ourselves!

Girls trip

The house was great. We had never been to the area so FL was new to us. The week we went there was some sort of weather front that hovered over us all week…high surfs, high wind, rain….so we never had any sand time at all…it wasn’t the place, it was the circumstances…but there was so much to do in St. Augustine that we had a wonderful time. The restaurants were all excellent, shopping was good, lots of tourist things to do, we even went and did a painting thing…so fun. We loved the cottage, it was really well equipped…they even had beach towels but we couldn’t go out. The kitchen was well equipped and it was close to Publix so we could eat at home if we choose. I would highly recommend…it was a really nice place…the weather just didn’t cooperate for us all week long.

Family Beach Get Away

Stay was great! We have never been to St Augustine and we wanted to be able to walk out onto the beach. House was clean and all had room and comfortable beds. Has all you need and a great indoor porch to read when the heat of the day kicks in. Nice and close to St Augustine downtown and a food store 2 minutes down the stream. The beach is amazingly quiet and clean and the water was perfect. Loved to see the dolphins ever morning and evening.

Spring Vacation Vilano Beach - St Augustine

We really enjoyed this unique house! It has every amenity we could possibly think of. The location was excellent! Very close to the activities of St Augustine but directly on the beach that was never crowded. Being in a big, clean, pet-friendly beach was the best! Our property manager was quick and easy to communicate with. We would highly recommend this house for others!

Relaxing Christmas vacation on the Beach

This house was true to the description. It is spacious and comfortable. The large deck offers unobstructed views of the ocean with beautiful sunrises. The location is quiet and only a short drive to the bustling historic district of St. Augustine where you can enjoy all the tourist attractions as well as the beautiful lights of the Christmas season. We did experience a couple of unexpected maintenance issues but Petra was responsive and they were resolved. We enjoyed our time and hope to return.
