This beautiful mountain home has everything you need for a fun-filled mountain getaway on a resort property! The home is owned by a family, so it's set up for kids and fun- we are happy to share tips and information to make your stay as comfortable and enjoyable as possible!
This quirky-cute 3 bedroom house features a king primary bedroom, a queen second bedroom, and a twin over full bunk bed in the third bedroom, plus two full baths. The primary bedroom has a vaulted ceiling and private bath, and the jack and jill style second bath is accessible from the kitchen or bunk room. The third bedroom has a desk area, and thanks to cable-based internet and trustworthy wifi, you can easily work from home with an excellent internet connection.
The kitchen boasts a full size fridge and stove/oven, a microwave, coffee maker, and is fully stocked with dishes and small appliances like a crock pot and toaster oven. Outdoors, a generously sized deck seats 6+ for outdoor dining, and the large double lot includes a gas grill, fire pit area, and yard toys (a swing, zip line and tree climbers) for kids. For rainy days the cabin has board games, kids books, and the covered porch and carport offer additional spaces for leisure.
There is a full sized washer and dryer in a separate utility room, and heating and AC are provided by a mini split (although most of the time you can sleep with the windows open and enjoy the mountain air!) There are also several ceiling fans throughout the home.
Parking is a breeze with two driveways- one in front of the house can hold two cars, and behind can hold two more or a camper (please message us ahead of time should you wish to bring one so we can help you prepare!)
The home is part of the idyllic Linville Land Harbor community, and all tenants are welcome to enjoy the area's many trails, swimming beach, pool, lake, fishing (fee), tennis and pickleball (fee) and golf (fee). Land Harbor is close to Grandfather Mountain, Sugar and Beech Mountains, Linville Falls, Linville Caverns, epic hiking along the Blue Ridge Parkway, and the cute town of Newland with plenty of amenities including restaurants, gas and groceries. We are also conveniently located to Boone and Blowing Rock. For forgotten toothbrushes or a quick gallon of milk, there is a Dollar General just across from the community entrance.
Linens, towels and basic toiletries are included in your rental price. Dogs are welcome with a $20 per day fee.
Note, this property does not have a dishwasher. Due to local laws or HOA requirements, guests must be at least 25 years of age to book. Guests under 25 must be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian for the duration of the reservation.
